DON LAKE
(Executive Producer)

Don Lake was born in Toronto, Canada. He first arrived in Los Angeles to attend California Institute of the Arts. After graduating, he returned to Toronto to join Second City, the renowned improvisational theatre company.

Productive years in Toronto led to two long-running series for Showtime and several feature films. But it was the opportunity to continue his association with Second City that brought Lake back to Los Angeles to form a new company on the West Coast, where he first met Bonnie Hunt.

After "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures" on FOX ended, Lake joined Bonnie on her two series, "The Building" and "The Bonnie Hunt Show," both for CBS.

His feature work continued with roles in such films as "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," "Hot Shots!," "RocketMan," "Wagons East," "Super Mario Brothers," "Almost Heroes" and "Return to Me," which he co-wrote with Bonnie.

Lake's improvisational work has been featured in a collection of films with Christopher Guest, including "Waiting for Guffman," "Best in Show," "A Mighty Wind" and "For Your Consideration."

He was a series regular on NBC, appearing with Julia Louis-Dreyfus in "Watching Ellie," and he worked with Bonnie Hunt as executive producer on her series "Life with Bonnie" for ABC. He contributed as a writer with Hunt on the Pixar feature "Cars." Lake resides with his wife and two children in Los Angeles.
