dawn y.

Bonnie and Staff,
We enjoyed attending a taping of your show on November 23, 2009. We thought your warm up person was totally funny. My problem came when it was time to be seated, one of your staff members told us to sit in the far front seats. Another told us that there was only four seats left in that row in which there was only four people in our party. So, she moved us to the back row and moved four Caucasians to the front. At the end of the taping you came and asked if we were able to see the show since we were so far back. You shook everyone hands except for ours. I felt hurt and sadden by the actions of your staff and you.
I will probably continue to watch, but I will not attend another taping of The Bonnie Hunt Show.

Good morning Bonnie and staff,

Oh how I wish I could comment on yesterday, today or any of your shows....I'm so mad at our local station KCRA in Sacramento for no longer carring your show that I could just s---. I use to plan my day around your show coming on at 2 p.m. each day. No matter what I had to do I would leave that hour open to watch you. I am faceing (like a lot of others) some challenging times but for one hour a day I could get lost in your smile and up beat personality. I was able to see you live on Sept. 19th. (my birthday) and it was one of the best birthdays I ever had. I so miss you as you make people feel that you are their friend and can relate to real life. I enjoy getting your newsletter and updates.
So I will stop b------- about what I don't have and give thanks for what I do.
I wish you, your family, friends and staff a wonderful and thankful Thanksgiving.

Oh and by the way thank you for the Sketchers you gave away on your show the day I was there.....they are pretty silly and I laughed when I tried to walk in them. I am going to donate them to a woman's shelter in your name. Please don't think I am ungrateful but if I'm not going to wear them then someone else less fortunate can use them.

Thank you for being you and I am so glad I can say I met the sweet Bonnie Hunt.

Sincely,
Donna Eaton (Folsom, Ca.)

Bonnie. I can't say it enough how much you are loved! Along with your MOM and the staff! You always make me smile, That story about the Red Bow!! I wish I had one now, It was a story I think we could relate to. Bonnie, We at this household in AZ wish you all that you and yours wish for this wounderful holiday season. Know that all things are possible if we just BELIEVE. Enjoy your family and all your friends back in Chicago. (I used to live in Iowa so we can relate to the fun things in good ole Chicago) We love you Bonnie(and MOM) Your friend Debbie in AZ

Loved your show today! I love Bill's story about his wife, so funny! I love Whitney's hair just the way it is. I have to mention NICK, still love him! He can bite my neck anytime! LOL

P.S. You looked beautiful as always
Thanks for a great show

I loved the Bill Engvall Show. His stories were hilarious, esp about the "stale bedroom". Do you rehearse these jokes? The timing is so perfect. I tell all my friends to watch your show because you are soooo funny, down to earth, humble, and such a wonderful person. When are you going to draw my name for the Cruise? I told all my friends about that too!! Have a joyful Thanksgiving.

I actually watched just about all of your show today, usually my sister is the one watching. I enjoyed some of it, but not interested in hearing about the vampire movies. Since I am a Christian I feel that too much emphasis is given to this type of movie and that the current generation is too wrapped up in the lure of vampire movies.

I only watched a little bit of the "Locator", a little too heart wrenching. Thanks to God I was able to locate my own birth daughter after 54 years just two years ago this month, by using the internet. It was a wonderful reunion and we instantly bonded. As a result I also was able to meet my three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren I did not know I had.

I love the games on your web-site, especially the Maj Jong ones, in fact I have to limit my playing time because I stay on my computer too long.

I too grew up in Chicago area, actually Rogers Park, which is north Chicago and then later years Evanston. I left Chicago with my husband in 1962 and then spent 25 years in Alaska, 15 in Colorado and the last almost 7 in Hawaii. Kept following the sun.

God bless.

Thanks for the updates on the dogs that were all adopted (yay!!). The pictures were priceless! How about having more homeless dogs on the show, since your success rate is 100%? Maybe make it a weekly segment, like it was for a short time last season? (And that way maybe someone who's NOT associated with the show can adopt one of the dogs! KIDDING!! Sort of.)

I love your show every day, BOnnie, but this show was extra special to me today as I'm a reunited adoptee of 11 years now and both of my loving, adoptive parents passed away in 2008. I've been watching The Locator for long time now and still cry every time I watch it but it's my all time favorite as it's such a "feel good" show and it gives people hope and peace in so many ways!

Love & Peace,
'Chelle

Dear Bonnie:
I love your show. You are the 'girl next door' that everyone loves. Your previous segment on Veteran's and Sears giving 15K to the three on your show, made my heart overflow. I was in the Sears store after your segment, and I told the cashier's how wonderful it was, and made a donation on the spot.
I love what you do for those poor sick animals. The before and after pictures show what a difference love makes. I think you and your staff are great.Look forward to your show each day.

I fell in love with Chris the sound man! What a hottie! And a dog lover, too! Very cool. Please tell us tomorrow if he is single. And, er, straight! LOL

hugs and best wishes,

kimberly

Looking for a great book for teenage girls where the female leads are smart and strong - try Anne of Green Gables and Pride and Prejudice

Loved the show today.
Liked the 'red bow' story.
Have a HAPPY Thanksgiving even if cousin Joan shows up two sizes smaller!

Hi Bonnie,I have never watched your show before today! I loved it,and to be honest the only reason I watched was because of Troy Dunn.I will be watching you all the time now! I thought if I watched Troy he could give some insight on how I could find my nephew after 23 years!I was only 15 when my sister gave him up but I have thought about him everyday!I want him to know I love him very much! and I thought if I watched I could take a different road than all the dead ends I have had over the years! anyway best wishes and much love to ya! Rhonda

Really enjoyed today's show. Shame on Bill Engvall for trying to duck jury duty. I have been called three times and actually served on three juries (one each time) and all turned out to be most interesting. But his story about romancing his wife had me laughing until the tears came!! What a mental picture!!

Also enjoyed listening to the successes and failures of Troy Dunn's work in reuniting families. I'm looking forward to seeing that show.

And Whitney Port is cute any way she wears her hair!! I actually really love the current 'do'.

I am disappointed that a celebrity guest should join so many other citizens who enjoy the liberties our society tries to provide while at the same time diminishing and trying to avoid the civic responsibility that is jury duty. Granted, it's often terribly inconvenient and time consuming, but it isn't compulsory military service; it's relatively benign and essential to the proper function of our judiciary. If I were ever an innocent defendant, I would prefer a jury of my peers, folk who took the responsibility seriously, rather than a professional jury for whom it's only a job.

Just my two cents'.

Hi Bonnie,
I tried to make a book right after you announced it but it said the coupon code was invalid! I'm glad to hear everyone else got to make one.

Bonnie I wake up every morning to your show..and a hot cup of Joe! However, today I found extra inspiration from Troy Dunn. I am myself an adopted woman, and have done plenty of searching, to no avail. Seems every corner was a dead-end. However, three years ago I recieved much healing in a strange way..I had a son and HAD no choice but to adopt him out. Thankfully he went to my parents who could never have children, and now I still get to be a part of his life. But, the whole process answered alot of burning questions I've always had..like, "Why did she give me up"? I write poetry and the line I used to describe my closure goes like this.."I always wondered what it was like for her to sign on that line, I just NEVER thought I'd find out by having to sign MINE!" Now I know she could have had a million reasons for her decision, other than she just didnt want me! I still have questions, but for different reasons, and the success stories he shared, proves that there IS a way to locate them and get those answers! I guess I've just looked in the wrong places! So, thank you for giving him exposure..maybe contacting him could be my next (and FINAL step)!!

Love you and your show!,
