Message from Bonnie - Week of November 17th

Good Morning, I hope you all had a somewhat restful weekend.
I spent time in Chicago with family this weekend. We've been dealing with a medical challenge. I'm truly blessed with a close-knit family. We are far from perfect, but we know we can always lean on each other for strength. Even through the toughest moments, we discover a reason to smile, listen, encourage, and even laugh. Of course, we also pray.
Life can change in an instant. I continue to be reminded of the same powerful lesson: life is all about acceptance.
My sister Mary and her husband Bryan share courage and the choice of a loyal commitment to each other. Spending time with them is a powerful example of the healing power of authentic love.
Like so many of us, I struggle with wanting to be in two places at one time, especially when medical issues arise. However, I do appreciate being blessed with work in a difficult economic climate.
Sharing the days with all of you, just having a laugh, learning from the life stories of our guests, is a joy for me and my whole family.
Monday, we catch up with 'Mrs. Brady,' Florence Henderson. Everyone seems to ask Florence: 'How do you stay in such great shape?' Her response, 'Daily Pilates.' Yep, that's her secret, I was hoping she might say, 'Pizza and sitting around.' Unfortunately, pizza is not the answer. It's Pilates with the right instructor. Florence is in great shape for MY age!
And OMIGOSH GIRLS..it's DAVID ARCHULETA on Tuesday's show! I understand we have fans showing up the day before to sleep overnight outside the studio. I think I may join them, heck I want to make sure I get in as well.
I adore singers, song writers, musicians, anything to do with music.
Kathy Griffin, the 'loose cannon' will stop by. Kathy is also from Chicago, and she loves her Mom, so that's a good start for us.
Cat Cora is back this week, the only female Iron Chef! We are going to do a cook-off with audience members. It should be fun to have our own iron chef competition. I only hope for my sake, that the secret ingredient is toast.
A special thanks to two of my guests from our Veterans' Day show, Patty and Patrick Horan. Patrick and Patty's acceptance, their effort, their team work and their gratitude throughout his rehab at Cass Colina, well it's inspiring to say the least. I will make sure to keep in touch with them, and to share updates with all of you.
I'm looking forward to meeting and chatting with all our above mentioned guests, and many others this week, including; David Tutera, John Stamos, Kim Kardashian, Scott Foley, Peter Facinelli, Joshua Radin, and Pat Sajak.
Thank you all for taking time to watch the show, it is deeply appreciated.
Have a great week.
Best,
Bonnie

Hi Bonnnie,
My dad was watching your show last week (week of November 17th) and he said there was a new Country Singer you had on your show that he loved. I would like to get him the Singer's CD for Xmas. Could you let me know who it was?
Thanks!
Bonnie,
I love your show. You are a breath of fresh air. I live in the NW suburbs of Chicago. I grew up about 2 miles west from where you grew up. My best friend lived about 8 blks from your house. Her first teaching job was at your grammar school (it was a few yrs after you graduated). So that Chicago connection makes your show very special. I recently became unemployed (thanks to new technology in the medical field), and I really am kind of happy because now I can sit back and relax and watch your show every day. If I have to get a job, I have to be home before 2 PM. You are a hoot to watch. Laughter is the best medicine and you certainly are giving high doses each day. Kudos to you and your staff. Thanks for all the laughs.
Bonnie,
LOVE your show. You make my day!
I was looking for the little segment/picture you had on the show for the flabby arms support. I wanted to send it or tell a friend about it.
It was funny!
Please dont change and keep doin what you are doing... entertaining lots of us each day!
God Bless
Bonnie,
My thoughts and prayers our with you and your family also.
I love your show and was so happy to hear you mention Casa Colina and how wonderful they are there. My ten year old daughter was helped by the wonderful staff there when she couldn't walk because of pain. They were so patient and kind she actually looked forward to P.T. It took three months there were we saw many of our service men and their families working hard to get better. They inspired my daughter and family. Casa Colina works miracles for many....thanks for supporting them!

Bonnie,
I heard you meantion last week that you would be dying your hair this week on the show. I was so excited about this because my salon bills are racking up. I haven't seen or heard anything else about it. Just wondering if you were still planning on doing the segment???
Love the show!
Jenny
Bonnie ~ You are the best part of my day! You are truly the shot in the arm this country needs right now. And on a side note, I thought it was hysterical how Don and Holly would stand against the wall like they were in a lineup at the beginning of the season! It was just quirky and made me laugh! Also, I know MANY of us want to get your haircut. Can you post a good picture on the website that we can print out for our hairdressers? Love, love, love you!
Becky
Bonnie, I have loved you ever since I saw you in Only You, and I loved you in Return to Me. I was a faithful viewer to your sitcom and was terribly sad when it was over. I would love to see you do some more acting. Your show is great!
Think you are awesome. So happy you got your own show but I grew up with you and think you are more spectacular than any guy named Steve. lol

bonnie don't pay any attention to people who want to critique you it would not matter if you wore a gorilla suit onstage ,you would still be a beautiful lady. And as far as the hair just to let you know my wife and I are looking for a stylist to cut her hair JUST LIKE YOURS! Have fun with it girl because life is to short to worry about the small stuff. We love all you have done and wish you and your family all the best.
BEST WISHES FROM TONY AND FAMILY IN TEXAS
Bonnie,
I love you and your show! I have always been a fan of yours but this show is great... a great mix of subjects, cool guests and always FUN FUN FUN!!
Don Lake is hysterical...that man makes me laff my fool head off!! :) Today when he was dancing to Beyonce's video was so fricken funny.....
So thanks Bonnie, for all the smile and laffs and for being you.
Love you xoxoxo
I dvr your show everyday. I think you are so talented and so acomplished. I have followed your career for many years. However, you really need some help in wardrobe. You mention people who dress you and you make fun of your outfits somedays. It is usually the days you come out in prints. Bonnie - no more prints. Please! Some of your clothes look very dated! Who is dressing you?
Don't cite the budget - clothes do not have to be expensive to look good!
Also, you have the most gorgeous hair, but you need to have it thinned and cut around your beautiful face !!!!
Only because I admire you - hope you don't mind the critique.
I am so sorry to hear that someone in your family is very ill.

God bless you and your family. I pray that he lifts you up and strenthens you and blesses your family with good health and healing.
Dear Bonnie, I am totally enjoying you, your interactions with your Mom and the staff on the show. Not to mention how you talk so down to earth with all your guests. You are truly a sweetheart!! Keep doing what you are doing and good health to you and your family. Liz
Hi Bonnie, I have always loved watching you in any work you appear in. I am enjoying your show, also. What day are you showing how you "color" your hair?? I may have to tape it that day and I want to make sure I don't miss it. Have a great day. Cathy
Bonnie, I know you didn't ask,and I personally know what a family deals with, and feels, when there is a medical issue but simply put my prayers are with you and your family through this difficult time.
take care,
Peggy
