Glad you're back on the air - loved your sitcoms - the films - and now your talk show - it was good to see you as a late night guest too. I'm disappointed I missed Wednesdays show - would have liked to have seen the segment with Fabio. Hope you have him back. I wish you much happiness.
Never mind the website is back up and running
Is your website down I can't go to todays show and check it our or post anything.
Bonnie,
Please,please,please..get rid of the black suit. Once again, last night on The Jimmy Kimmel Show, there it was again. Wassup with this??? I am not old enough to be your mother, just another older sister. You have way too much personality (and looks), to wear this all the time. It's time to put it in the "I'm going to a job interview" closet. OMG...I'm missing your show!!!!! Gotta go!!!
Bonnie, I just love your show. My family knows not to bother me when I first get home. I have to watch "Bonnie". You always bring a smile to my face and a ton of laughter.
I think we should give a name to the cowardly, spineless manner that some people choose to break up with someone. We should call this move doing "A Mesnick". Most of us have had the experience of someone breaking-up with us in a public place, with the thought that the break-ee will not cause a scene in a public place. However, no one will ever come close to the original "Mesnick". I do understand the fact that feelings do change and it is so much better to acknowledge that fact sooner than later. That being said this public of a forum was NOT the place to make that statement. Shame on Jason, shame on Molly for being a part of this, shame on both of them for professing to be Melissa's friend and shame on ABC for making it all happen. They HAD to know what was going to happen, I cannot believe that they would tape this program and not have Jason lay out his plans before hand.
Melissa is the only one who showed class and she is the better person.
Hi Bonnie
I love your show -I too am an Amazing Race fan -from the very first leg back in 2001. Also am a fan of Top Chef and was so pleased that you had Fabio on. Just wanted to tell you that the two of you could do a show together. I haven't laughed so hard in such a short span of time as I did yesterday. Please have him back --he could have a show of his own for that matter. Please keep the laughs coming -laughs truly are the best medicine.

Hi Bonnie, I forgot to mention Charles Gibson is full of himself. He hung on to you for far too long and his treatment of Sarah Palin with his glasses slipping off his nose while he perched on his chair just to look down on a sitting Govenor was rude and dispicable. That was not news, just a liberal doing his best to put down a Republican woman running for office. A position he would never be elected for, not even in Minnesota.
Hi Bonnie, just wanted to tell you how much I love your show. My Aunt Marion Bonk Lazicki lived on Cornelia and she has pictures of a young Bonnie enjoying a birthday in the back yard.
I don't watch the Batchelor because it's a set-up but the law here in California states that if the marriage does not take place the ring goes back to the man. Isn't that something to think about with all these young women living with a man without any strings for many years and have to give the ring back. Also the wedding ring can be an asset to be divided between the couple in a divorce.
Lastly, I too grew up in Chicago and peeled boiled potatoes are mashed and a new trend of leaving the skins on during cooking is called smashed because you don't have to get all the lumps out and better yet you get the vitamins that are in the skins.

Hi can't tell you how much I was looking forward to Wednesday's show this week. When you told us on Tues that you were going to discuss The Bachelor on your show I couldn't wait to get home and watch.
I totally agree with Don's impersonation of Jayson. It is my second favorite thing Don has ever Don on your show. (The first was him dancing with Elmo and Abby-ca-dabby. I still see hime doing that floppy dance every time he is on camera.)
Back to Jayson though. He was so clearly one of those people who can turn emotions on and off like a switch. Melissa is so much better off to be rid of this "pseudo-single-dad." I can only hope Molly waked us and realizes that he had her play second fiddle and will probably be moving on to another "instrument" very soon.
Thanks for your great show! My little 7 month old Claire and I watch it every single day!
Hello Bonnie,
I just love your show. It's a wholesome show and entertaining.
I am though disappointed in something Charlie Gibson had to say yesterday. He made reference to his "Christmas bonus". I think that was in poor taste do to the economy and all of the people out of work. My husband was out of work for a year and one of his prior employers re-hired him. That was great, because we are losing our home. We thought this is terrifc, maybe we can keep our home or at least be able to move to another home. Well, instead of a Christmas bonus that he usually gets, he was layed-off. This was two days after Christmas. Not only will we be homeless, my husband can't find work. I have three children and don't know what to do. For now, I am still working part-time and increased my hours as much as I am allowed.
I realize Charlie has nothing to fear, but he should keep that to himself. I will still watch your show, because I don't consider this a reflection of you.
Keep us in your prayers, please.
'The Bachelor's' Melissa speaks out
Entertainment Tonight
Less than 48 hours after having her engagement -- and her heart -- broken on national TV by Jason Mesnick, Melissa Rycroft speaks out about her 'The Bachelor' experience.
She writes: "I want to thank everyone who has been so supportive throughout this process. This has been such an overwhelming experience, and I really do appreciate the support system behind me. This was definitely one of those experiences that changes your life, and makes you so much more aware of who you are and what you want out of life. Strange as it may sound, I am doing really well.
"I'm back in Dallas, pursuing the teaching thing, and attempting to get my life back to normal (if it was ever really normal to begin with). I still have my same life mottoes: Live life with no regrets, and keep smiling no matter what happens.
"I'm in such a good place in my life right now, and I really couldn't be happier. I don't regret anything that happened over the past few months; because I know I wouldn't be where I am today had none of it happened. I have, however, decided to move on from my reality television days, and get some sense of normalcy back to my life. As wonderful of an experience as 'The Bachelorette' would be, I think it's time for me to move on from my television days, and see what my future holds back in Dallas. I have no doubt it will be an amazing experience for whoever assumes the role, and I wish them the best of luck!"
BONNIE! PLEASE READ.
I am extremely disappointed in all your comments on Wednesday's show regarding the bachelor. Everyone who watches you knows you are a caring and kind person. Yet, you exhibited a harsh and insensitive attitude toward Jason, and were not well informed.
First, you stated the bachelor "didn't feel the chemistry anymore." This is not what he said. He said it was completely different; the relationship was completely different; the openness and how they reacted and related to each other, & the conversations which were so great on the show, were completely different. Besides this, he could not stop thinking about Molly. Obviously his heart was speaking to him. What would you have him do? Marry the wrong person? Love is about your heart, and it's the heart that is in charge.
Secondly, Melissa DID know it was over before coming out to talk to Jason. It was NOT a surprise, as you kept saying. We learned this on Jimmy Kimmel the night before, and also that there was even a question as to whether or not she would wear the ring when she came out.
Thirdly, you thought the breaking up should have been done privately, suggesting that Jason should have LIED to millions of viewers. Really!!!!! In addition to that bad idea, you surely must know that the producers of that show (and any show) have the final say on how things are done.
You didn't seem to have a good handle on the facts, which makes it dangerous for you to be talking about it, and also did not seem to have thought out your comments very well. Your criticism of Jason was contrary to your sensitive, kind, caring and loving nature.
Lastly, I love your interaction with Don but he was way off base when he said Jason was an actor. That man fought his way through a boatload of emotions and did his best to choose a girl wih whom he'd share the rest of his life. All of the bachelors/bachelorettes who came looking for love had to do it under crazy circumstances that are totally unlike dating in the real world: Living in lavish homes, having out-of-this-world dates, spending time in exotic places - and all in 6 - 7 weeks. Come on!! This is a ludicrous concept for finding a spouse. It's no wonder most of the couples break up after they return to their lives in the REAL WORLD!
Have some compassion for a person in an impossible situation. That's the Bonnie we know and love.
Linda
I've watched your show many times. I've been a fan since your first TV series. Just had to say that Minka Kelly on tonight's show was a breath of fresh air, a sweet fragrance that will linger for decades to come. The world could use more people like her.
WOULD LOVE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE MEMBERS OF THE BAND. ESPECIALLY NICK. WHO ARE THEY? WHERE ARE THEY FROM? HOW WERE THEY CHOSEN TO BE YOUR HOUSEBAND? WHAT IS THERE MUSICAL BACKGROUND? THANKS FOR ANY INFORMATION. HJ
Who knew Chaz Gibson was funny? Timing, raport, and wit-smart too-what a package! CG rocked it! Never knew u as an actress, but luv you a host-I've been doing your BA DA DAT DAT DAT hook all week-some folks get it, most don't, but I've been puttin' your name out there-CONTINUED GOOD FORTUNE TO YOU!!
Could it be that Jason is competing with his ex-wife for who gets the longest 15 minutes of fame?
Check out Access HOllywood's website to read about her "budding" modeling and acting career.
You can watch the music video the ex-wife was in on the Access Hollywood site and see the physical similarities between her and Deanne and Melissa
Quite interesting!
Re: The Bachelor'
Molly's makes more money than Melissa..
Bonnie,
First off, I love, love your show. I'm a 69 year old with a opinion.
Want to tell you what I think about the Bachelor, I believe he loves the exposure he has been getting also he is Narcissistic . He is going to make every excuse he can to look like the good old boy, he is very educated, well spoken and knows how to blow smoke up our behinds. We all got sucked in thinking what a great guy. Yikes , I am so pissed off that I believed and liked him....I think ABC found him such a great group of girls to chose from, I liked so many of them, lucky for them they didn't receive a rose.
I really like Melissa and thought both Jason and ABC gave her such a raw deal. I am embarrassed for them.
I had a lot of respected for Brad the other Bachelor who didn't chose either girl, Deanna and ABC just douched on him, wonder what ever happened to him.
Thanks,
Just a Fan
There are so many things about the show, The Bachelor, that I don't like that there's not enough room here to list them all. However, no matter what happened, I don't think that Jason should have gone ahead with the marriage if he truly didn't think that Melissa was the right person for him. That's the impression I get of what the viewers wanted him to do. And according to a man from my hometown who was on the show with Jason when Dionna(?) was the Bachelorette, Jason was contractually obligated to do anything associated with his relationship with Melissa or any of the other women in front of the cameras. Therefore, no matter how much he might have wanted to break up with her privately instead of in front of the entire nation, he couldn't. If people want to get angry with someone, how about getting angry with the producers who promote that kind of cruelty in the name of entertainment!
Bonnie, I love your show. I am thrilled that Debbie Reynolds will be on your show. I wish I could be there. She is coming to Seattle and I was going to attend her show. However, my husband and I booked an Elderhostel tour and will be out of town when she is here in Seattle.
I am so very disappointed to miss my chance to see her in person. She has been my favorite since I first saw her in the movies. When I have my granddaughter she always wants me to sing "Tammy" to her before she goes to sleep. It is her favorite song. Debbie sings it much better than I but I give it my best try. I have the sheet music of Tammy on my piano and look at Debbie's picture often.
I hope she enjoys her time in Seattle. I sure wish I could see her show.
