Dear Bonnie,

April 3rd 2009 I saw the "Germinatrix" (Ivette Soler) on your show & would like to know how often I should apply the Cayenne/Garlic Death Spray on my vegetable garden. If I recall, she never actually said how often to treat the plants with the spray. I went to her website & couldn't find the answer. I've sprayed once but am afraid it isn't enough. I want to save my vegies cuz some sort of bug is having a field day. Please help!

Hi,
You had Ivette Soler on April 3, 2009 talking about "tips for keeping pest away from your garden". I found a video with just a little of the episode, but not all of it, and cannot find any transcript on your site of the segment. I would like all the info she gave in that segment please, if possible. I know there was something she said about human hair as a repellent to deer.

Thanks,
Susan

Hi Bonnie -
I know that given your experience as an oncology nurse, cancer causes are near and dear to your heart. Last year, my beautiful, amazing best friend, my mom, was diagnosed with breast cancer. It turned my world apart. I lost my dad 9 years ago and thought I was going to lose my mom, too. but thanks to the amazing care and support she received she beat it... today she is cancer free.
That's why I'm going to walk 60 miles in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day in August. It is my turn to give back to the community that gave so much to my family in our time of need.
My team is hosting a fundraising event at Kincades (in Chicago!) on May 16th 8-11 PM. It will be a great event. We're trying to get some amazing raffle prizes. Is there anything you can do to help a fellow Mom-adoring, Chicagoan Cubbie Fan like yourself? Can you provide a raffle prize or maybe mention our event on your show? or could you donate to my page (maybe a couple hunnerd bucks!) and hey, if you're in town, we would LOVE to have you attend.
Keep up the wonderful work you do for the Robert H. Lurie Cancer Center. They are lucky to have you helping them in the fight against cancer.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my letter. GO CUBBIES.
All the best,
Dawn Mandile

P.S. Please say hi to Alice... every time I see her on your show I am reminded how lucky I am to still have my mom with me.

P.P.S. I hope you'll be at Wrigley on opening day. If you want to learn more about our event or my walk, come find me in Sect. 242 Row 11 Seat 111. I'll buy ya an Old Style.

Hey Bonnie,
Love the bird house "with the family". My husband and I think it's so funny. Keep it up!!

I never miss your show, thanks to TIVO. I think you should have those tango dancers on every show you do. Here's my question: Who the heck is the Temecula Olive Company? At the end of every show it states 'thanks to the Temecula Olive Oil Company'. I live about 15 M. no. of Temecula and have never heard of them.......please explain. Thanks, ellie (from a blue collar family in Chicago--Tuley High School graduate--now in California).

Dear Bonnie,
My sister and I met your mom and sister yesterday. I recognized your mom from Just Ask Alice. She is so sweet. We told them how much we love you and your show. We also are from a large family and grew up in Chicago. Your Chicago stories and the references to the Cubbies are wonderful. You seem very thoughtful and sincere. Your show is wholesome and that is so very, very refreshing. Keep up the good work.

Hi Bonnie,
I was off work this week for spring break. I am a school secretary and am always so excited to get to see your show, even got my husband watching between chores! Thanks so much for the wonderful segment with Dr. Haligan, I printed the article and couldn't believe some of the foods that were lethal or could make dogs sick. I am going to share the list with my friends. We have two Brittanys, Lucy and Hermione and a dachshund, Maggie that we dearly love like your Charlie and do everything to keep them safe and healthy. Hermione and I do agility, have you and Charlie thought of trying it? It is so much fun!
Well, since I don't have Tivo I'll have to wait to catch you at my next day off. Maybe, one day I'll get to California for a "live" show!
Enjoying you in Washington! (the state)
Becky :-)
PS Love your crew too!

Dear Bonnie,

I laugh out loud whenever I watch your show & I've watched right from the beginning. I'm 69 & for the past 2 years my 10 year old granddughter is battling leukemia. Thank God she's doing well and in a few months will be done with her treatment. Like everyone else I'm worried about finances also. If I have to tape the show I so look forward to sitting down to watch it. Everyone connected with the show is just terrific (when Nick talks watch the expression of the guitar player behind him- I'm giggling right along with him.) Thank you Bonnie for keeping me laughing & upbeat - you may think it's nothing special but it is to a lot of people at this time.

Every show is a winner. You have the best talk show on the air. And you also have the most beautiful hair. I love it when you screw up, it means you're just one of the common folk like the rest of us.

BTW, I saw Son in a new commercial playing the agent of Julia Louise-Dreyfus. A hoot and loved it.

I hope to get to Culver city sometime in the near future and see your show live. At that time, please have Flip Videos for the audience. ha,ha

Love you Bonnie
Marlene

You always have a very funny entertaining and enlightening show luv it

Bonnie and TV Family,

You are such a breath of fresh air....I LOVE, LOVE your show. Your are so natural and I feel like you right in my living room with me. You make everyone feel so special. Your time with your mom is great, enjoy those moments...she is hilarious. The shows are all great but the show with Cheryl and Gilles, HOT HOT HOT.....WOW. I watched them on DWS and then of course on your show.

I didn't know you had directed and made the movie Return to Me. It was a touching and close to home movie. You are one talented lady. Keep up the great work and God Bless.

Tina H.

Hi Bonnie,
My name's Tootie...how ya like me so far? You can get back to me on that later if ya want!
I always love the show, but this comment is about Don. It's 3 in the morning and I just saw a commerical with Don and Julia-Louis Dreyfres. I think he was great...of course what do I know, it is after 3 am! Just kidding!
I so admire that you associate with and utilize such talented people. I hope your show runs for a long, long time!

Bonnie/Crew/Fellow BHS lovers...

Hope you had/or are having a great weekend...Thanks for the biggest laugh of my day at this late hour courtesy of sending a friend request to our beloved Charlie Hunt...

When the typical Facebook prompt "submitted to Charlie for approval" came up, I just burst out laughing. Too cool! (Gee, I hope he accepts me...)

And geez, how beautiful is the lady that painted that breathtaking portrait of Charlie? Just as beautiful as her art...and with my luck, prolly married...and her hubby's prolly reading this...and I'm prolly gonna need to get into the witness protection program...Nice knowing you board folks here...

Just wrapped Friday's show with Giles/Cheryl/Mom/Chicago Barber...and three words for your Scotland/White House Stories:

Bless....your...heart!

Your ever faithful fan,

Jeffrey (AKA Marquee_Man)

PS-Those of you who haven't seen Marley and Me? Please do...Absolutely adored it...

Way to kill the snails & give all other garden creatures a drinking problem....just kidding. Great show, as always...

Hello to all at The Bonnie Hunt Show, luv you guys! I have a suggestion. When Bonnie's Mom is on, the picture and sound quality is so poor; why don't you do like Oprah does and use Skype? The quality of her remotes is outstanding! I think your Mom deserves the same.
Otherwise, keep up the great work!

Hi, Bonnie! Just love your show, and being a dog lover myself, I love all the pups you have on looking for a home.
I saw the gardening segment today and wanted to let you know that for the past few years I've used chopped garlic and a bar of soap chopped up and put into an old pantyhose and have tied them onto the branches of my apple trees at our camper to keep the deer away. Read about it online and wanted to do something natural. I've since found that almost anything blended with garlic will keep away deer, bunnies, possum, etc.

So, try it!

From one Chicago girl to another, keep up the great work on your show!!!

I loved today's show. I loved the interview with Cheryl and Gilles and the dancing was great. That dance was so hot it took me 10 minutes to get my breath after they finished it on the show. I guess that shows I'm still alive! I don't always catch the show but I always love it when I do.

Hi Bonnie
I love your show everyday I have been twice and going Thursday for my 3rd time , Your so down to earth and Normal , I was laid off in October and when I went to the first show It made me so happy so I appreciate you letting me attend more than one taping a year, and since I will have to find a job soon I'm going to take advantage of all the oppurtunies I can to see you.
