SHOW RECAP
Ever wonder what it would be like to talk to ghosts? As 'The Ghost Whisperer' Jennifer Love Hewitt knows and can tell us all about it. He was everyone's favorite mortician in 'Six Feet Under,' Freddy Rodriguez swings by. He's got a hilarious holiday film out that he produced and stars in called, 'Nothing Like The Holidays.' Then Bonnie grew up listening to this band's songs and she's thrilled to have them here to perform today. The wonderful REO Speedwagon will sing 'Can't Fight This Feeling' and another one but you'll have to tune in to find out. Plus to help you with those last minute holiday suggestions Bonnie is sending two audience members off to Walgreens to show what you can pick up for loved ones on your list for less than $50!

Hi Bonnie, I agree with the many viewers who are very disappointed with the give and get.  I have tried all week at the 3 posted times and it always say 0 available.  Then you try again a little later and it shows sold out.  Was this really for your public?  This seems like a scam to get people to sign up or get their names on a list.  I will continue to look into this and I really wish you would explain what has happened.  I watch you every afternoon and would really hate to have people be upset about something that you are promoting.  Thanks and Happy Holidays,Bonnie H

Hi Bonnie, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your show. I am so glad you are doing well in your career. I have been on disability for almost 4 mos now and your show really stands out. I love your accent, your mom on the show and the guests. It's evident you love what you are doing and very sincere at it. You are so funny, but I love when you show your sincerity also. You just made my day on a week when all seemed down around the holidays. Keep up the good work and I will miss you when I go back to work!!

Oh,too bad. My husband has been on all the gives and gets from the show. He is right on the button for every second and can't even bid on anything before it's gone. I can't believe we can't get a chance to even click the button and it's gone already. Do they have snipers on Bonnie Ebay that the average person can't play. It's to bad. There looked like there was some nice things to win. We would have at least liked a chance.

Hey Bonnie,My wife and I watch you everyday, your the best.My wife has me get on the computer every morning to see whats going on.She was diagnosed terminal the 22 of last month. She has schlerderma and osteophoris, but she loves watching you more than anything. She says you make people feel like they've known you all their lives, she just loves you to death.Even tho she is constantly in pain and knows she does'nt have long she still just loves to sit and watch you and laugh like there's nothing at all in the world could bother her as long as she can get up in the morning and watch your show.Could you possibly sometime tell her hi,it would really tickle her.Her name is Karen Thome from fish lake.Thank You Bonnie

Dear Bonnie,
Your show is the greatest! All the best of talk shows rolled into one;from Johnny Carson,Oh,you know, all the best of when we were growing up!
Most of all,It has made my Mother"Nicky" so very happy. You have made her laugh again, after much sadness the past few years, from losing a daughter to cancer, a husband from a stroke and recovering from her own recently diagnosed "Hydrocephillis" Mis-spelled but "water on the brain".
Thank you for making her smile!!!!!! If you ever have one moment to say "HI" to her on your show you might just bring back a little bounce to her step!
Keep on doing what you are doing and don't change a thing. It is already so perfect!!!!!
Merry Christmas,
Sallie G. Mabry

Great show! I used to watch The View, which airs at the same time, but now I watch Bonnie. Not only is she hilarious, she obviously has a big heart. I hope this show is on for many years to come!

I was able to log on to Ebay today and see the give and get item - there were only 19 available for purchase at 11am. If you think about how many people love this show and are trying to win the item, there will be very few who actually do. Bonnie has had a wonderful, thoughtful idea that is truly in the Christmas spirit and has received such criticism for it. Give her a break. She has done more than most people to raise awareness and funds for cancer research and doesn't deserve this kind of backlash.
I love this show and the refreshing, fun hour I spend watching it. I have been a fan of Bonnie's for a long time and am so happy that the show is a hit!!

PS - Bonnie, where do you do your shopping? I love the sweaters you wear every day! Would love to find them somewhere!

i am so tired of hearing these people whine and complain about your items up for bid. it is not guaranteed that there is one for everyone. you clearly state that on the show. if it's sold out, it's sold out. if they want it that bad, go to the store and pay full price. this is a wonderful gesture, and these people still find time to complain. they should be in a more joyous mood at christmas and be thankful for what they have, not what they might have.

love the show. dvr it every day! you are the best!

Bonnie,

Simply put, my mother and I enjoy your program. Your genuine sincerity is something we could watch for hours and your quick wit is priceless.

If there is a way to donate to the cancer center without actually winning the Give and Get, please post it on your web site. I would like to donate in the amount of the number of times I have tried to win.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Becky

Bonnie,
I guess I'm slow, just caught on to your show a few weeks ago, I'm normaly not watching TV at 3:00 p.m.. I'm telling everyone about your funny show..you make me laugh and thats good medicine! Thanks...I'm hoping some day they can ran your show in the evenings too. I guess the only advice is don't copycat other talk shows, make it your own!

Iwas at my son's and saw some of your show. I'm interested in purchasing some of the gifts you were showing that didn't cost a lot, but didn't see a site to view them and where they could be purchased. If there is one, would you let me know.

Sincerely,

Pat

yesterday you showed a picture of my dog dolly next to marty feldman that my mom sent to you. i did not get to see it. is there any way i can get a copy of 12-11-08 show? thanks

I tune in your show after work (tape it)just to see you, Bonnie. Love your quick wit, but skip the sidekicks constant comments.

What the hell? I swear....I just left one thread where everyone was whining about the give aways. And I come to another one and it is the same. If I was Bonnie, I'd throw in the towel. But she's probably not as cynical as me. I was hoping to learn a little more compassion, giving etc. here but I can see now it's just exactly as I picture the American public.

Good Evening, Ms. Hunt! You are so wonderfully funny and beautiful, I have loved your work for SO long, You're a terrific person!! I really loved your show today, I am a HUGE fan of Ghost Whisperer and would give anything to meet Ms. Hewitt someday (I know its not really possible, but hey without dreams, what's life?!) So I guess I'm her secret friend that she doesn't know exists..lol! Her personality is awesome and she's so sincere! Two wonderful women came together on your show today and that is PRICELESS! Have a wonderful night and God Bless :)
Love Ya Girl,
Aimee

Bonnie,

Are your give and get gifts equally divided among time zones? For two days I have tried to obtain one, but at 6:00 p.m. there are none available for the eastern time zone. Could you check on this and possibly portion out equally the gifts between the three time zones to make them available to people in the eastern standard time zone? Thank you.

I have to say I really enjoy your show and you Bonnie. Love the Charlie Brown tree on your set That is my favorite Christmas special ever. I love the music and the sentiment. I'm going to make a Charlie Brown Christmas tree for me at home.

Dear Bonnie,

My name is Christie Blue, I am 19 years old. My uncle Orville Blue was hurt in an accident at work. His arm was pulled into a conveyer belt at a saw mill, and it happened three years ago and he can hardly use it, so I help him out alot. Like all men his face gets hairy. I've been trying to tell him to get an electric razor for himself because he continuously cuts his face. He tells me he does not have enough money to get one from a regular store because they are more expensive. Today I am writing to you to ask you if there is anyway if I can put $20 on the electric razor instead of $10. I am unemployed but he was explaining to me yesterday that he really wanted this razor. He went on and on about how he tried to get one but could not. He has done many things for me in the past and I thought this could be a great present I could get for him. He watches your show all the time and I think he will be pleased to get something from you.

Thank you,

Christie Blue

Bonnie,
What's up with the Give and Get? Have tryed all week, in all 3 time slot's and still sold out after less then 30 sec? and the if you look at the bidding history on each of the items all the bidders are from the weast coast? I have not seen anyone from any were else, what is that all about? This was a good gesture gone wrong!!

Hello Beautiful Bonnie!
I was really excited that you welcomed REO Speedwagon on your show today. I myself am a child of the 80's and grew up listening to them. A few years back my husband and I had the pleasure of seeing them in concert on the Oregon coast, it was a small venue and their show was phenomenal. Thanks for the nostalgia....Love to you and your amazing crew!
