Last year around the holidays, Bonnie did a hilarious list of phrases that you hear at a family get together that makes you know it is all down hill from there (or something like that). I was trying to tell someone about it today, but couldn't remember what the phrases were. Is that list available! It was so hilarious! I love the show!!
Hi People
How are you doing?
I love your show Bonnie, you are so refreshing and funny. I always liked you in movies and as a person. You are such a grounded and gifted lady and personally I think you are the most gracious celebrity there is out there. I hope and wish for all the success in the world for you.
A devoted fan of yours,

If he weren't 76 years old he might be able to volunteer but he's done his service for students (and his country by the way)!
Additionally, allowing a few incorrect verb tenses
is the beginning of the breakdown of the English language and shame on a TEACHER for promoting that!
People like YOU are the reason so many of our populace
not only, sound like morons but, they defend their right to sound like morons, saying it has no reflection on their intelligence or ability.
I disagree with you (and them) soundly.

Holly from NC wrote: My first comment is for Bonnie and the viewer, Sino Chika. Bonnie, your grammar is just fine. I'm an elementary school teacher, and trust me, there are more pressing problems in schools today than a few incorrect verb tenses. In the 2 states that I've lived in, students and their teachers deal with many more pressing issues like parent/s in jail, on drugs or just not there. So, leave your book and your ego at home, and go volunteer in America's schools.

I find this comment very disturbing, especially coming from a teacher! No wonder our children are growing up as virtual illiterates (Don't think so? read an average blog or message board.).
Sure, there are plenty of problems in schools today, but that shouldn't be used as an excuse to fall down on teaching the basic grammar skills to students. Believe it or not, there are STILL employers who will deny a job to an applicant because they can't speak properly. They'll never say that's the reason why, so people don't know, but that's the truth. By not teaching students how to read, write and SPEAK properly, you are setting your students up for failure. Sadly, you're not the first teacher I've encountered to have this shameful attitude, so I truly feel awful for this society that already celebrates underachievement too much.
My grammar isn't perfect, either, but I keep trying to improve. Whenever someone corrects my grammar, I LEARN what they've told me. It's great to keep learning no matter how old you are, but it's a shame that too many kids today never get to realize the pleasure of learning, because they never get the chance to learn these basic tools for success...not even in school!
How do you know if it's supposed to be Celtic with a s or k sound? I always thought it was pronounced with s sound too.
Where can I buy Biscuit?
Hi Bonnie-We love your show-sorry about your throat. Our Mom was a single working Mom-music teacher in the Memphis Public school system in the 60's....Well, the Christmas Pagent was all set and we kids got larangyts? (lost our voices) and then so did Mom. Our little Irish Grandma fixed her right up with a tablespoon of Vicks vapor rub with sugar sprinkled on top and a half a cup of hot water to drink AFTER swallowing the Vicks with sugar. Within 30 minutes- Mom had her voice back and the Christmas Show went on. Wonder why she didn't fix the same remedy for her six grandkids????? Oh and Grandma gave us a small bell to use to call her from the kitchen, since we couldn't talk, and we only got to use the bell for about 20 minutes. So you should have listened to Alice and taken the garlic remedy for the THREE days!!!! Happy Holidays, my eldest brother who lost his house in Hurricane Charlie, and is currently waiting for dual transplants (kidney and liver) lives with my husband and I......We look forward everyday to your show and enjoy ALL the times you have been on T.V. with your shows of the past. Thanks for all you do-Charlie and Biscuit were priceless today!!!!!!!Oh and I couldn't find the donation deal on Ebay for Elmo-was I brain dead and missed all the info? We would love to get one for my brothers first Grandson Brodey who is one year old(my great nephew)...ok I will stop rambling now :) take care Bonnie and Show...Love, Jacqui and big brother Wes

I'm looking forward to today's show and I love that you feed Charile, your dog, healthy food also. Hi Bonnie and Gang! Really like your show! I look forward to 10am to brighten my day. I have been layed off and my husband is still taking things slow since he's had open heart surgery. You make me laugh so hard it helps forget for just an hour the struggle we go through every day. Keep up the good work you all do for all of us! Love your Show!
Merry Christmas!

I have never done this in my life but I have to express how much I love your show!!!!!!!
I DVR the show and look forward to being able to watch them at night (when there is not a program worth watching) and on the weekends. I love your mom, wish that my mom was still here to watch your shows with me. She would have loved you.
You are a breath of fresh air....
Thanks for the laughs and the thoughts
Bonnie, I wanted to let you know that I love your show. I work during the time your show is on but one afternoon when I got home and was scanning to find things to DVR while at work, I saw that you had a talk show now, I dvr'd you the next day to check you out. After seeing that first show I am addicted. I have you set up everyday to DVR you. You are such a kind and geniune person, how respectful you are to the people that work for you and your guest. I can relate to things that you say about when you were small and what you did as a little girl, It really brings alot of memories back from my childhood, I was the baby girl from a family of 6. 3 boys a nd 3 girls and a mom and dad that were married 46 years, I now have lost both of my parents and miss them dearly, just seeing you talking to your mom makes me miss mine more. I want to be your new best friend... Really even if we never meet I want to be your best friend on TV.... I have never wrote anyone before and ask to be their best friend, sounds a bit silly but I totally think we could be best friends.
You are a very good and decent person with such kindess, I am so glad that I decided to give your show a try, I pray that you have much success and that you continue with this show, I know your ratings must be very good. Just like Dixie Carters daughter said "She loves your show"
I surely do also, best of luck...
Dear Bonnie & Gang-
I do not miss your show for anything. I have not felt this way about a show in YEARS; you have a true WINNER here! If you do not receive an EMMY then all is wrong with the world. I have been loving you as an actress for many years and you are a natural as a talk show host. There is nothing more entertaining than when your MOM is on the show. You and the show format are so genuine. I am addicted. I can't say enough. I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT! Thank you for making mornings one big giggle-fest!

Bonnie, I loved Friday's show. Joel and Benji Madden seem like such great kids. Loved the game you played, it looks like a lot of fun. I am interested in finding out how to purchase the *Bonnie Hunt* fleece and *Bonnie Hunt* mugs you give your guests. I would love to have both. Thanks and can't wait for this week's shows, especially my fellow Georgian, Paula Deen.
Leslye
I love your show. Whenever I know you're going to be in anything, I make sure to watch. You are one of the brightest, most spontaneous, funniest hosts around. I am a huge fan Ellen's, but I find myself running to the DVR to watch your show first. I hope you're around for a long, long time because as long as you are, I will be watching. Thanks for making the day a little brighter.
A group of us attended the second taping of The Bonnie Hunt Show on October 13. We filled out our name and address on paper given to us at the show and were told we would receive a GPS sydtem in the mail as a thank you for attending the show. None of us in the group have received it. Can you give us any information as to when and if we will receive it? Thank you for your consideration.
On Wednesday I sent in a caption for the Hillary/Obama picture. I was wondering when it would be shown? Thank you. Faith.
Thank you for having Mr.& Mrs. LaLane on the show. They are an inspiration. When he said it was never too late... I asked for a stationary bike for Christmas. I care for a sister who is mentally disabled and who has multiple health problems. We are starting today to become healthy. God Bless you and your band of guests.
Merry Christmas. Molly
P.S. I started watching your show in the 3rd week...did you have Jim Beluchi on yet?? He was adorable as your husband in "Return to Me"
