Jennie Garth - Tuesday, November 11
It's Veteran's Day and Bonnie honors the men and women in the service. She'll introduce you to Patrick and Patty Horan. Patrick recently returned from Iraq where he suffered a traumatic head injury, their courage during his recovery is truly an inspirational story. Jennie Garth, who resurrected her role in the newly revamped '90210' stops by the '90232' (that's the City of Culver City's zip code where we tape the show.) She'll share how the cast is getting along and what she's been doing to help save our environment. Raven-Symone has grown up in front of our eyes - from 'The Cosby Show' to 'That's So Raven.' She's here to show Bonnie some memory book making tips from her online instructional video.

Bonnie, I was thrilled that you were having Pat and Patty Horan on the show to tell how our soldiers must fight to get better. His wife is courageous and a hero too for standing by him. She has kept ahead of what he needs for his rehabilitation. Will continue to keep them and the many other soldiers like him in my prayers. Barbara
You mentioned the facility that Pat Horan has been rehabing at several times but I can't seem to find it on the internet. Would you please let me know the correct name of it as I am soon to be a therapist and am very interested in getting involved. Thank you!
I just enjoyed watching your segment with Capt. Horan and his lovely wife. These brave men and women deserve all of our respect and support no matter what your feelings are about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Thank you Bonnie!!
Veterans Day show was just missing one thing, the children of these men and women are changed forever, I know my Dad was injuried in WWII, so badly when the war ended he had to stay in the hospital and learn what a one year learns, please tell patty & Patrick Horan, it takes a while but it's worth it, my Dad had problems all his life and thought he was hiding them from us, he died 2 years ago, so Patrick there is still alot of life for you to enjoy. Good luck
Bonnie you are the only talk show host worth watching, you are so real, no one wrote every word you say and we can tell you really feel for people, many thanks from some of us who really need you, God Bless You.
My mom used to iron our sheets! As a single mom working full-time, how did she have the time? Why would she want to? Maybe it was "just in case" and she didn't want to be single anymore! (you know like the clean underwear hospital story).
I think the negative comment from sally was a ploy to get on your show. Remember the woman who screened your show and you had her on? "I don't like Bonnie Hunt," you kept playing her voice over and over. It was funny.
this a great day for our men and womwen in the armed forces... i want to tell you about my son carl,,, who recentlty retired from the united states

Bless you Bonnie! You have a big heart. Thank you for your wonderful show today honoring and acknowledging those serving in the military and their families. It is important to support the families at home.
If anyone is wondering about something simple they can do for our troops, there is a website where you can send them a card. Not sure if it has been mentioned. It could not be any easier to do:

I am so entertained every morning from 9-10am! Thank you Bonnie for bringing laughing back to morning TV! I am so happy that I can watch a program with no politics, yelling, or anything else one would not want their child to watch. Your show is just down home fun. I couldnt' be happier to spend my time with you. Your show today was so inspiring, you took the time to showcase the veterans AND their wives and families. These families deserve all the credit in the world, not only do they have to deal with their loved ones being so far away, but they have to change their lives. I never realized how hard it must be for them on a daily basis. I have only thought how hard it is on the soldiers serving. My hearts go out to ALL those involved-may you all be blessed. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for allowing your loved ones protect me and my loved ones. May you ALL have a blessed New Year.
Thank you Bonnie for opening my eyes.

Gee "sally" if you dont like the show just dont watch it who cares what you think? Not to pathetic.....that you would even bother to look up the shows website in order to post a comment that no one cares about!
All of these heartfelt responses to Pat and Patty are so wonderful. Dawn I wish you could have seen the show.(hope you are well too btw). Pat and Patty are a testiment to how being motivated and putting your trust in the Lord can bring you out of a situation that would otherwise seem negative and desperate.
The interview today does not give justice to the trials that young caregivers, such as Patty, have to go through. Patty is a testiment to all military wives and how important it is to keep going when doctors tell you otherwise.
Pat and Patty are close friends and I am on the phone with them reading your comments. Rehab never stops for them! :-) Patty is in awe of the response and I hope this gives her the chance to see how important her story, as a young military wife, is for all those watching.
One individual above mentioned wanting their e-mail address. With Patty's permission I am including it for you. I told her that I was going to give everyone her cell phone number :-) but she doesn't have enough minutes :-))
God Bless this country! It's truly an amazing place to live and fight for. God Bless our servicemen and women and their spouses! And God Bless you as well Bonnie, for giving a voice where needed.

Pat & Patty, Love ya-mean it.

I hate the Bonnie Hunt Show! The second I hear the intro, I shut it off! Sorry, but Bonnie Hunt is a failure as a talk show host.
LOVED the show. Jennie Garth is great. Do want to know about the tennis balls in the dryer?? For real, does that work?
I really thought it was great to honor our veterans on the first part of the show. It is nice to see Veterans being recognized and appreciated on a talk show. Maybe the View could get some tips on how to honor our Veterans (that is everyone on the view except Elisabeth)!
I enjoyed todays show very much. It's so important that we do not forget veterans everywhere, and their respected family members. We have freedom, yes, but their families, sometimes live in fear. So, thank you for being mindful of Veterans day.
you told us where we could find cd for raven-symone's scrapbooking and I cannot find it. Could you please help me?

thank you!!!!
I love Bonnie, she is so funny, smart, and so down to earth. She doesn't appear to be larger than life. I really like her.
bonnie,
thank you for giving military wifes the recognition they so greatly deserve, while i was deployed in 06-07 my wife had to run the household and take care of our children and basically do everything alone with no help and no one to talk to about her feelings because she was in a small town with no other military around. but she did what she had to until i came home.
and now my wife is starting a military wifes group so no other spouses have to be so alone again. 35 soldiers from my unit were deployed 2 weeks ago, and in december were going to have our unit christmas party and were going to announce the start of the group.
my top priority is my soldiers, and to see my wife take on the spouses as her priority makes me feel as though she is my hero, and we will relocate to california soon and i can only hope she get's the units spouses togetherwhile were there.
Your shows are very interesting.
How do we enter for the Sweepstakes that was advertised in today's show.
Thanks in advance.
I was in CPT Horan's unit when he was wounded. I heard about it at the time but all I knew was that he was alive and that was the last I heard. I saw him on your show this morning and it was incredible to see how well he's doing! Thank you for your continued support.
Hi Bonnie,
Thank you so much for having Patrick and Patty on the show! The brain is amazing, rerouting so that people can again speak, understand and learn.
This is from the Gospel of Mary: Mary answered and said, "What is hidden from you I will proclaim to you." And she began to speak to them these words: "I," she said, "I saw the Lord in a vision and I said to him, 'Lord, I saw you today in a vision.' He answered and said to me, 'Blessed are you that you did not waver at the sight of me. For where the mind is, there is the treasure.' I said to him, 'Lord, how does he who sees the vision see it through the soul or through the spirit?' The Saviour answered and said, 'He does not see through the soul nor through the spirit, but the mind which [is] between the two - that is [what] sees the vision...'
Thanks again!
Deb
