The "cooking segment" with Jimmy Kimmel was hilarious. I laughed 'til I caughed! I see TMZ.com has posted part of it for all to see.
Bonnie, you are great! I love the Chicago accent.
Bonnie,
I loved the show yesterday. I don't have any kids of my own but the Wiggles were cute and I can see how much the kids enjoyed them including you..
You put on a great show.. Keep up the good work.
I am a big fan as you already know..
Love Ya.
Best,
Karen
Bonnie-
I love your show. I particularly love the segments with your mom. A dear friend of mines mother has a saying that I would like for you to share with your mom and audience: "If you have a problem that can be solved with money, then it is not much of a problem".
Well, I wrote a LONG note about today's show, then my computer crashed!
Today's show was fantastic.
I LOVE Jimmy Kimmel; he and Bonnie connected well.
You could see Bonnie's friendship with Joe Mantenga is special. I think both Jimmy & Joe arriving via the firepole was too funny, b/c I think perhaps the men guests believe it is a macho thing to do, and must "conquer" that pole.
Bonnie is a genuinely warm person. The love for her mother is so obvious. Bonnie has true Midwestern values, and isn't afraid to be considered old-fashioned or a goody-goody two shoes.
No harm was meant to Britney Spears!!! Bonnie's mother is CONCERNED about Britney. Neither Bonnie or her mother put down Britney. What's happened in the past with Britney is now in the past. Bonnie's mother is just that--a mother concerned about children. She seemed to have Britney's children best interest in mind, nothing else.
I am proud of Bonnie producing a different type of talk show currently on air. Bonnie is less concerned about promoting a guest's film, book or project, than she is finding out about the person's interests, past, hobbies, etc. I've been craving a talk show like the old "Mike Douglas Show". Mr. Douglas had guests on because they were interesting and he LIKED them, not just bb/c the guest needed his/her film to make money!
Please keep up the good work and let your wonderful values and morals shine through everything you do, Bonnie. You are making an important statement each and every day you are on air.
Why does everyone always pick on Britney? She might not ever want to be on your show now. She was on Ellen's show one time and I don't see Ellen saying anything negative about her. Ellen is the best and everyone tries to copy her. Do you think you would ever have Ellen on your show? Probaly not, huh.
Bonnie,
I appreciated your mother's concern for Britney Spears. At first I was thinking "oh no enough about her" b/c it's all we hear about sometimes, but then she tactfully brought some light to Britney's situation, although I could speculate that her issues might go even deeper than money. But that aside I really wanted to write in to add that I believe your mom meant to say "the LOVE of money is the root of all evil" instead of just saying that "money is the root of all evil." That phrase actually comes from the bible. The verse is in 1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs." I commend you for the good that you are doing raising money for cancer research. And you have showed such respect for the doctors and nurses who work in those fields, thank you so much. It seems in all your success you have not wandered but still know how to genuinely give back and help others.
Bonnie,
Congratulations on another sweet and funny show. You are truly succeeding in putting a good vibe out there. The story you told about your father and the bicycle was particularly heart-warming.
Sometimes I wish that as a child I hadn't received things quite so easily. Being the youngest of five and the only girl, I guess I was somewhat spoiled. I'm not materialistic, and I believe I'm kind and generous to others; however, sometimes when things don't come as easily as I had planned I wonder if I kind of toss them aside too quickly. Not people of course, just goals.
In any case, this message should be about you and not my self-therapy. I wish you all the best with the show, and I commend you on your honesty and sincerity in everything you do. Even when you act there is no pretense and the scenes always feel truthful and real.
Keep up the good work. Thank you for showing us that kindness still matters.

Todays show was so funny! What was the deal with the little girl at the birthday party? Do you see her looking at the mother? To funny!
Dear Bonnie,
I love your show. I just about died when you were talking about the Housewives show you made me laugh out loud I just happen to be flipping through the channels and watched that show for a while. I just have a questions for the guys out there is saggy cleavage sexy? Living in a small town of about 1,400 people in N.H. is a bit hard to believe there are really people out there like that. I think she should have spent some of her money on a good bra (or a dicky) for herself and her friend. Thanks again for the laughs keep up the great job.
Parnee Gilman
P.S. also think your crew is great!!!
Love love love your Mum Bonny. Her comments regarding Britney's new video being over the top sexy for a mom of two young boys was so well put. And that focusing on money tends to lead one down the wrong path was also a very nice way of stating perhaps Britney is not seeing the big picture just yet.
Your show is something I look forward to each day! Today's show with Jimmy Kimmel and the Wiggles was great. You have a wonderful attitude about life and it's refreshing to see.
Thank you for have my kid in the show to see the wiggles,he love it.
I have always liked you in everything you have done Bonnie. TV, Movies, Writing etc. The new show is fabulous - a breath of fresh air. Lots of variety. Keep up the great work!
I tried to send this before...sorry if it's redundant. The photo (gorgeous Paul Newman) didn't paste. The story is hilarious.

SUBJECT: PAUL NEWMAN
This picture is worth the e-mail even if you don't take the time to read the story below.
Paul Newman
Only women of a certain era will fully appreciate this.... True story.
(If you don't understand this, tell your mother, she'll get it!)
A Michigan woman and her family were vacationing in a small New England town where
Paul Newman and his family often visited.
One Sunday morning, the woman got up early to take a long walk. After a brisk five-mile hike,
she decided to treat herself to a double-dip chocolate ice cream cone.
She hopped in the car, drove to the center of the village and went straight
to the combination bakery/ice cream parlor.
There was only one other patron in the store:
Paul Newman, sitting at the counter having a doughnut and coffee.
The woman's heart skipped a beat as her eyes made contact with those famous baby-blue eyes.
The actor nodded graciously and the star struck woman smiled demurely.
Pull yourself together! She chides herself. You're a happily married woman with three children,
you're forty-five years old, not a teenager!
The clerk filled her order and she took the double-dip chocolate ice cream cone in one hand and her
change in the other. Then she went out the door, avoiding even a glance in Paul Newman's direction.
When she reached her car, she realized that she had a handful of change but her other hand was empty.
Where's my ice cream cone? Did I leave it in the store? Back into the shop she went, expecting to see the
cone still in the clerk's hand or in a holder on the counter or something! No ice cream cone was in sight..
With that, she happened to look over at Paul Newman.
His face broke into his familiar, warm, friendly grin and he said to the woman,
'You put it in your purse.'
Hi Bonnie!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
I have been a long-time fan of yours and was anxious to watch your new show.
After 29 years of full-time employment in the workforce, I am making the adjustment to being homebound due to hopefully, only a temporary medical situation. TV has become my only source of entertainment.
Until your show started(I have watched you daily since your very 1st show)I was very disappointed in what daytime programming had to offer. I simply LOVE you and your Crew's senses of humor and the thoughtful way you interview guests. Your segment with the kids trying to answer the "old time" questions (Forgive me as I'm having a menapause minute and I can't remember the name of that segment)is a "double-edged" sword. I get such a kick out the answers given and then realize how old I am that I haven't gotten an answer wrong yet!
You and your "Crew" have sucessfully managed to bring a wholesome (tempered with some spice,I might add), "homelike" feeling to daytime TV for those of us in your audience. You are refresing to watch. With your warm, caring personality and intellegent humor, how could you miss??
I especially enjoy the dialog between you and your Mom. I lost my Mom in '06 and watching your interaction with her brings back fond memories.
My 4-legged child, Angel, (11yr. old Dobe)looks forward to the Bonnie Hunt Show too! I often laugh out loud during your show and Angel gets so excited she runs around the room hopping like a puppy!
I can't wait to watch your reunion with "Dugy" on Thursday. Wouldn't it be something if he is available too and fate has brought you back into each other's lives and he is "THE ONE"?
Thank you so very much for simply being "you" and daily bringing some real joy into both mine and Angel's lives and I'm sure the rest of your audiences.
We love the whole gang of you on the Bonnie Hunt Show!!
Wishing all of you peace, happiness & continued success,
Debbye & Angel Matson

PS I enjoyed your sitcom "The Bonnie Hunt Show" too, as well as your many movies.
Hi Bonnie
As always, I enjoy you and your new show, I've been
a fan of yours since before the days of "Life with
Bonnie"... Today, both Jimmy Kimmel and Joe Mantegna
were interesting guests... You may not remember me,
but last week Monday, I was in the audience, a fellow Chicagoan, who you spoke to after the show.
Enjoy the interviews with your Mom, she is a stitch...
Love ya, Love your show
Barb Sammarco
Hi Bonnie
I really enjoy your show,,, it is a breath of
fresh air,,, you have such uplifting people
on,,, with the crazy way the world is today it
kind of takes your mind off of things for awhile.
I was very "disappointed" in the comment Joe
Mantegna made on the show today about his crack
about having a restaurant in Peoria,,, he forgets
a lot of people are watching that live in Peoria.
We could also made snide comments about people
in the Chicago area,,,I did enjoy watching him
in "criminal Minds",,, but not anymore.
Thank you
Something is definately wrong with me.....I just rescheduled my cleaning lady so I dont miss THursday show and when Marcuchi is going to be on. Cant wait.......today as always....your Mom was spectacular.
