Bonnie,
I am a children's librarian and am planning my summer reading program in rural MO. WOuld you pleassssee re-air the piece with Connie Gordon painting, it was awesome. I want to teach myself to do this so I can teach my kids this summer to do it as well. You would be doing me a huge favor as I can't find any local oil painting classes here that I can take. Love you! Love the show and we really love Charlie.
P.S. I have a fourteen year old son with autism who loves animals and he lives for the adopt a dog segments!

This is for Laurie Overstreet.
I had the wrong song as she sang Sweet dreams the other day.
But after reading your letter she did sing this song.
It's very clear, our love is here to stay
Not for a year but ever and a day
In time the Rockies may crumble, Gibraltar may tumble
They're only made of clay
Oh, but our love is here
Our love is here
But our love is here to stay
To stay

This message is for Laura Overstreet. She wanted to knoe if Bonnie read her letter on Nov 6th.
I watch Bonnie everday and tivo it..
Thursday when she was reading Mail from you guys she did read your letter about her beautiful singing voice and and that you think she should do a recording..
That would be so nice if she did a recording.
Maybe in her next venture !!!!
After she read thr letter she sang ....
Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you"
Birds singing in the sycamore tree
Dream a little dream of me
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me
I agree she has an awesome singing voicd she has many talents and I just love her show..

Hey Bonnie, loved the show on thursday especially the segment with conni and the 5 minute masterpiece. I was wondering if you were going to post the full video or directions on how-to-do-it your self at home? My kids and i really wanted to try it!
thanks,
mary
Bonnie,
I love your show and your fantastic personality. There's nothing better than a great sense of humor. I LOVE TO LAUGH.
I really enjoyed watching you paint with Conni Gordon and I'm looking forward to seeing additional paintings by Conni's. I believe you said there will be more of her paintings shown on your web site. As of today, 11/8, it says Coming Soon. Your Mom is adorable and I think it's great that you have such a terrific relationship with her. Keep those segments coming.
Keep Smiling, Jahn (Jan with an "h") Hoffman
I'm home recuperating from my third hospital stay in three months. My Mom and I love your show (I actually converted her from watching another morning talk show to yours, LOL)
The segment with Conni Gordon was fabulous and absolutely riveting. It was obvious that you were having so much fun painting along with her.
One comment, I'm so glad you are dressing a little different than your first shows. It looks much nicer, at the beginning, it looked like you were taping dress rehearsals instead of the real show, it was a little too casual. Thanks for the change.
Thanks for the laughs,
Diane
I loved this whole show it was great as always..
The 5 minute painting was incredible. They used to have a painting show that was on for 1 hour a day and that was kinda of boring..
This 5 minute masterpiece segment was fun it didn't take long and then in a blink of an eye you have a cute picture..
Great show
Look forward to a whole new week..
Bonnie,
I was watching the previews of todays show.
I can't wait to go home and watch the whole thing.. Hopefullty it won't ger interuppted with the president making a speech or a news break report that is so annoying...
I want a piece of that hot dog..I have to agree Sara Lee does make awesome products.. I love coffee cake Yummy... Anything that Sara Lee makes ..
I have to say I was very impressed with your painting what a masterpiece but then again nothing suprises me with you as you can do it all.. I hope you hang that painting where everyone can see it and admire it..
PS: Where is Ellens picture that she gave to you. I don't see it in the background anywhere..
You are so funny !!! Enjoy every show...
Holly is incredibly brave to allow this type of national scrutiny. Did anyone other than Bonnie know it has only been 4 months since the painful divorce..NOOOOOooo!
This is TV folks, and Bonnie is not a psychologist.
What woman after a divorce wouldn't enjoy a genuine show of innocent, in public affection...probably validated her attractiveness as a newly single woman and being desired.
What is all this nonsense about diseases people are writing about... the woman had on jeans, he sat next to her, had his is hand relaxed on her leg (NOT messaging it etc etc)... my gawd.. if anything it appears to me that Bonnie needs to be the one getting out there dating.
Anyone that listens to Tom Arnold who is about as neurotic as they come, buying luggage for his dates, has some serious judgment issues... anything by Bonnie to sway the opinion to her side in her evaluation of the situation.
Bonnie is simply reprising the uptight, cynical and painfully frigid role she played in Jerry Maguire...which come to think of it, doesn't seem to be a role at all, but really who she is...
I don't imagine Franke would have done that with Bonnie quite simply because her vibe such... we weren't there, listen to what Bonnie said and leave it alone.
Wake up folks, it's about love people, connecting, soulful affection and being present in the moment. What a real shame there were so many cooks in the kitchen, a real shame indeed.
Saw your show and generally like it.there is one bone I would like to pick and that is the comment made about parents educating their kids on TV and other things they will fill their minds with because what goes in comes out but that only covers half the equation in that you seem to have left out the producers responsibility in what they produce and put on the air. When you and I were kids we our parents didn't really have to worry about what we saw because they knew the producers knew parents would be up in arms if the producers tried to put on the filth that is called entertainment now but the parents who are up in arms,(and there are plenty around) are ignored or called homophobes or worse and dismissed as unenlightened savages against freedom of expression.I like to watch Bones and found it entertaining until last nights episode ended with a homosexual love scene.TV should be entertaining and informative and not a test bed for every so called alternative life style and there is a difference between freedom and license. So let the producers clean up their act and parents will have less of a bad time having to be a watch dog.Believe it or not the majority of people in the country cant abide and wont share the Hollywood life style and don't want it for their kids because they have seen the damage done by that form of intelligence
I am sixty-five recovering from my second operation in three months(first for rotator cuff and spur, second one for neck fusion and spur) and I enjoy lying back and watching your show at 12:00 noon. My 38 year old daughter and I were talking about the gentleman who didn't know who you were at the Costco store and we were stunded.
As long as you have been in the entertainment field, movies, and your own Bonnie Hunt show where you played a talk show host (which I loved very much and didn't miss a show), we can't figure out where this guy has been.
I love your show (had to watch to make sure it was a real talk show and not a show about your doing a talk show again), and wouldn't miss it.
Keep up the good work and I will enjoy my recovery more. Can't figure out why the guys haven't been beating down your door with your good looks and terrific personality. Much love.
Hi Bonnie!
Re: A matter of respect
I watched the Bonnie Hunt Show today. I am very surprised to see and hear that you have not chosen to address the future president and commander-in-chief as President Elect Barrack Obama or Senator Barrack Obama or Attorney Barrack Obama.
The future president of our great nation has earned the right to be addressed in a formal manner.
Calling the future leader of this great nation by his first name only and without one of the many titles rightfully earned is below the belt.
Wow!
Note: Political party affiliation is not the intent of this recommendation.
I just wanted to say the show today was great and the part about you scratching your head occasionally is not a big deal. I think it just shows that you are a real, everyday person. Someone that can make someone think, "Hey, I could do that when I grow up as she seems like a real person rather than all glitz and glam". Everyone has their little ticks, Johnny Carson use to rub his nose and run his tongue around his mouth during opening, Conan O'Brian during his opening monologue buttons and unbuttons his jacket several times! So you are not the only one on television that has their bit of nerves, it works for you and if people have trouble with that, tell them to ask a family member if they notice something that bothers them that they do? I think then they will stop with their comments of you scratching your head after that- I think your great and that is all that matters to a real watcher and fan. Look how long Johnny was and Conan have been on TV.
I have a story for you concerning Holly's Internet dating story. Sitting on the same side of the table can be a tenable situation. After I met my wife of nearly 33-years, it took me 2-weeks to get up enough courage to ask her out. She agreed to go. I showed up at her door with flowers behind my back and as we were leaving her apartment, I told her I was a touchy-feely kind of person and asked if I could hold her hand. We went out and had a premium night of dining, dancing, and sitting close to each other. I was "NEVER FORWARD" with her and I respected her boundaries. We met in August 1975, we dated in September 1975, I proposed to her and gave her an engagement ring in December 1975, and we married on February 28, 1976. She was 25 and I was 32. We've got a beautiful, strong, solid, happy, and dependable marriage of nearly 33 years. It all began with sitting close on the same side of the table and holding hands a lot. I always opened the doors for her, offered her a hand to help her out of the car, bought her tons of flowers, and always gave her gifts and compliments
Hey Gal,
All the other shows are the same but you are a ray of sunshine in the morning. Your mom is great as well and now I know where you get your good looks.
It's always good to see Howie being interviewed because's he's so candid and entertaining and you and he together are a great mix.
Patti Labelle! My goodness, she's still got it and is gorgeous to boot. What a treasure to the music world.
Oh yeah, you don't have to worry about your mom's 12 year old neighbor either. I'm available, have always enjoyed following your career and am a bit older then 12, especially if you count in doggie years. So skip the internet dating pond and give me a shout.
You are beautiful and geniue and in today's world, that is rare.
Hi Bonnie,
