I was surfing the TV when I saw you had a new show. I was delighted as I have always loved your work. I enjoy the show very much and felt compelled to write in after the show with Melissa Etheridge. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2007 at age 40 after my first mammogram. Yeah - first one and it was a whammy. One of my dear friends gave me Melissa's CD for inspiration - especially her song regarding her experience with breast cancer. Hearing her sing it on your show was wonderful. Although it was a reminder of that sad time, it was also a reaffirmation that there is hope and love in this world. It's been over a year now and I am so pleased to say that I am healthy and currently cancer free. Thank you for bringing laughter and light into our world.

I love your show! I've gotten my parents, both retired, hooked on watching as well. I have to say that both you and Holly should have success with internet dating. Give it a try! I did that for about 6 years and am finally married to a wonderful man I met online. A few tips for you - 1. You truly don't need to post a photo. Send that to anyone you may get interested in, later in the process. I figured if a guy's first response asks for a photo, "superficial guy......move on". 2. Learn when reading a profile of a guy that if his status is "unknown" he's married. Who doesn't know their status? 3. If he's over 40 and still living with Mama, hit DELETE. 4. Body type......you'd be AMAZED at how many obese guys out there think they are AVERAGE build! 5. Beware of guys who carry so much baggage their plane will never get off the ground! 6. If a guy asks you if you'd "like a chew" and he takes out the round can, not a pack of gum, get out of his pickup truck and go home! There's lots more to share........I'm thinking I may write a book. Keep up the great work! Watching your show just makes my day!

I am so happy that you have your own show. I had some recent surgery and cannot go to work. It is a delight to watch you in the morning while I am off. You make me laugh!! I am hooked now I have to tape you when I go back to work. I loved you in the movie Only You with Marisa Tomei. That is one of my favorite movies. Who is the guy you always talk to? He coaches you during the show director? He was on tv before. It is going to drive me crazy!!! Who is he? He has lost some hair so he looks different but I have seen him before. Hi Bonnie, big fan of the show and you. I grew up watching Dean Martin, Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas and shows with this format. Your show reminds me of my father and the love we shared for humor. He passed 5 years ago from cancer, so it means a lot to me that you bring back those fond memories. I am 48 and have been married for almost 30 years. Although I love him he is not the brightest bulb on the tree! Your story today of the Roshashanna email made me think of this story and I thought you might get a chuckle out of it. About 25 years ago I lived in a 3 tenament house on the second floor, one sister below and one above. I had gone to the grocery store and was lugging up several bags into the apartment while my husband sat at the kitchen table reading the newspaper. My sister came home as I was making my last treck up the stairs and saw my husband. She said "boy Rick I guess chivalry really is dead." To which he replied "who the hell is Chivalry and how did he die?" We laugh to this day about it. Hope this made you smile and thanks for all the times you have made me smile. Jami
