I saw your show about finding someone from the past. Well, here goes. Many years ago, I was told I had a child. I have never seen the child, nor do I know if it's a boy or girl. The mother's maiden name was Ana Maria Riveria, formerly of Peru. Ana was born in April 1954. The child may have been born in California in April or May, 1980. I have tried many times to see if I did have a child, but I haven't had any luck. I would just like to know if I really do have another child in this world.

I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SEE SOME VIDEO POSTED OF YOUR HOUSEBAND/ I REALLY ADMIRE GEORGE SHELBY AS A SAX PLAYER AND WOULD LOVE TO SEE OR HEAR HIS PERFORMANCES ON THE SHOW THIS WEEK MAYBE EVEN ON YOUR YOU TUBE SITE SINCE I WORK THAT IS WHERE I AM SEEING THE SHOW

Dear Bonnie!

I would love some help locating my first "real" boyfriend. Earlier in the year, my co-workers and I put up a challange to each other to locate our "first kiss" person. I was the only person who couldn't locate mine! History: I was a competitive swimmer in Wichita, KS. From age 4 to 17, I swam 50 weeks a year, 2-6 hours a day 6-7 days a week. At one point, my coach had been hired from the University of New Mexico, Bill Spahn. In the summer of 1973, 2-3 UNM swimmers came to Wichita to train under their old coach. Steven Michael Curtis was 17 in 1973; I was 13. I was instantly in full crush that summer. He didn't pay any attention to me until the following summer really. I'm sure he was embarrassed to like a 14 year old girl with shiney swimmer's hair and braces! He was this hot UNM freshman with all sorts of college girls after him....and he liked me?! I was a nervous wreck. Because of the age difference, my parents were less than thrilled. My older sister (his age), wasn't thinking it was too cool either. He was every bit the gentleman...mainly out of fear or was it embarrassment for liking someone so young. We wrote--actual letters as texting/cell phones weren't around yet--for years. He came in town to see me each summer and occasional holidays. I really did love him. But the distance took it's toll. I went to Oklahoma University pre-med and he went to graduate school in petroleum engineering. I started dating Jeff Gillum and eventually married him. Steve became a petroleum engineer in Dallas and married a doctor. He and I went to a wedding together with other old swimmer friends the summer after I married, 1982. My then husband, Jeff, was rude to him and I was embarrassed but let Steve go home without an apology. I haven't heard from or of him since or at least until my search started this spring. He divorced the doctor and remarried, Kimberly(?), had a couple children, lived in California, Texas and I heard overseas for awhile (Singapore--and I even had a trip there and didn't know he possibly was there). He had once worked for Atlantic Richfield Company -- ARCO Oil -- as a highly respected petroleum engineer. The (quite rude) woman who now resides in his last home in League City,Texas states she had heard he was to be working in Panama for 6 months or so. But by then, it had already been 12-18 months. The woman's nanny (la-tee-da) got on the phone and apologized for her employer's rudeness.

I found out that he divorced his second wife, Kimberly, after 17 years of marriage. I couldn't find his ex-wife. I know he has a younger brother, Craig, who is about my age, 48. Steve would now be 52. His birthday is
4-22-1956. If I remember correctly, his parents address in and around 1975-78 was:

4417 Hilton NE
Albuquerque, NM 87110

Possible SSN = 585-06-6716

I have no idea how I remember that or if I just dreamed it and made it up!!

I'd just love to at least be able to contact him via e-mail. I'm not looking to get some teenage romance rekindled 30 years later. I have 2 grown daughters, 3 grand children, an ex-husband (yippee) Jeff after 18 years of marriage (I'm a slow learner) and a, finally, very kind boyfriend with no baggage of his own. I call him a "manicorn". Kind, independent, fun, generous---you know, a male mythical figure!! I have the most fun hanging with my daughters and older sister from Texas...we think we are pretty funny and love laughing together! They were always after me to find a boyfriend. (Boyfriend at 48 sounds kind of silly doesn't it?) I had said that if Prince Charming showed up at my front door, he'd probably just be asking for directions and his horse would take a ** (poop) on my front porch! I made a list for future dates which I was pretty darn sure would be fictional and unobtainable: single, no ex-wife issues(preferably no ex-wife!), no children at home (preferably no children!), no grandchildren so I don't have to pretend I love them and don't have to give up any of my grandbaby time, he has to like and be liked by my girls/grandbabies, must not be embarrassed and or intimidated by the fact that I am a very proud grandmother, must be kind, funny, loving, generous with time and self, independent financially--I'm done supporting any man, easy on the eyes, non-smoker, not smothering at all.....oh my rediculous list went on and on....and then came Todd! After nearly 10 lonely, single years....wow, that paragraph was a tangent wasn't it??

Any help you could give me on finding Steve Curtis would be wonderful. I'd just love to see how his life is....hopefully he'd remember me??!! That would be embarrassing wouldn't it!

Absolutely love your show and I love how you involve your family too. The love you have for each other can be felt through the TV! My mom, sister and daughters have a similar relationship(s). It just so happens that none of us has a talk show?! Bummer. My granddaughter brings on the 4th generation. My first granddaughter was still born 5 years ago this Novemeber. My younger sister, Stacy is 42 and mentally handicapped and is enthralled with you and your show!! I am a physical therapist and currently left a hospital where I did surgical wound debridements to now doing home health full time. Your show is set to be taped daily, but I plan to do my paperwork each morning at 9:00 during your show. When I heard you may help people locate someone from their past, like your Hoochie Markoochie, I resurrected my Steve Curtis search. Thanks for the daily morning smiles/laughs, Bonnie!!! Your show is my morning coffee.

Very sincerely,

One of my bully friends on the internet posted a bulletin in our fight BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) group, and I was SO happy to see you brought your Pit Bull/Lab mix on TV. People need to see more positive things having to do with Pit Bulls because they are wonderful dogs!!

I viewed the show for the first time on 10/20/08. I enjoyed the show lots...loved the pet costumes...one thing bothered me....Bonnie, you had a choke collar on Charles. Those things are not so good, they can severly harm the windpipe of an animal very easily. You might try a pinch collar...I know the name sounds bad and they don't look kinda ugly but they distribute the pressure around your dogs neck evenly and won't hurt them. A pro. dog trainer recomended one to me,before I put it on my dog I tried it around my arm to see if it would hurt,it was fine. (Thought about trying it on the kids...just joking!!!!)

Finally, a talk show that is entertaining! Thank you Ms. Hunt, you and your show are very appreciated. My husband and I have always admired your body of work and now instead of waiting for your movies or (old) television shows, we can watch you daily. Although your show is aired at 2am in our television market, we DVR it nightly and watch in the morning before work. It certainly starts the day off joyfully when seeing your smiling face, listening to your quick wit and your kindness.
Thank you for the years you have provided entertainment for us and hopefully you will continue for many more years.
Good health to you.

Hi Bonnie:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your show. I work at home on flex hours; so I try to work around your show. Love all the dog costumes yesterday!! Love that you hire animals lovers. There is something about people who love animals. We have 1 lab mix - KORE and his harem of ladies: Mocha, Honey, Breeze & Chloe--all cats.

Since you are such an animal lover I saw this you tube video that will make you cry it is so loving and shows the bond between a dog and it's owner:

Dog Dance:

Hope I brightened your day as you do mine every day.

Janet

PS. Kids say the darndest things: My daughter, who wasn't feeling well, babysat 2 kids in the neighborhood. I run a soccer league and one of those kids play on a team in that league. So I saw him the next day and he asked, "how is Becka's triple ear infection". I said 2 are fine but the other one is pretty bad.

Bonnie,

Another awesome show as always look forward to another great week with you.

Loved the halloween costumes for dogs. I have a pug and she hates to get dressed just like Charlie. I do put on a winter parker on her when it is cold out and she is playing in the yard and she also has a snow suit that she has to wear if she is playing in the snow other then that she doesn't wear anything.

Keep up the good work. You are a rare gem..
People like you don't come around that often.
I am glad you around and I am very happy you have your own talk show. The way things are going you will be doing a talk show for a loooooooooooooooooong time..

Your the best.

Best,
Karen

Bonnie,
To just comment on 1 show wouldn't do justice.
I am a single Mom of 7 kids. I was injured on the job, as well as I have been told I have cancer. So, long story short I am very depressed as I am sure you know hppens with your nursing experience.
I was fired after 8years as a school district technologist. I am soooo hurt that I feel like I am in cement. I have no family, no friends, no support of any kind. We will lose our home, car, utilities, etc. within days.
I don't know what to do. I can't get legal help because it is always a "conflict of interest" because of the district I worked in (all the lawyers, politicians, etc). I relate to your divorce (I married at a very young age 14 and 13 yrs later divorced). My health is declining. As is my self-esteem. Hair and teeth falling out, so I won't/don't want to go anywhere. No aid, no child support, no medical. I am done. I have not had a break in my life, with the exception of 1 hour a day I do and that is you.
you make me smile. I love your show. It is 1 hour of the day I don't think about ending my life. I thank you for that. Laughter is the best medicine and you are the doctor.
I have experience in computers if you have anything I can do. I do volunteer work, but it don't pay the bills, more importantly, it don't buy food, medicine, etc. I live in Nebraska and it is obvious to the world they don't have a clue, nor do they care. My kids don't qualify for free lunch because I have $0 income.
I love all of you.

Love
Sharon

My mother is like an addict looking for a fix .When she comes home from work the first thing she does is check the tape to make sure it got recorded.Heaven help anyone around if they cut in for one of those news breaks that takes up the whole show.My mom is 78 will be 79 this April but you would never know it works 3days a week to keep busy.I think she thinks those people are real-only kidding but boy does she love that show. When I was in school I use to cut class and hide in the basement just to watch Days, that was over 40 years ago I have not seen that show since the seventies but now my mom it hooked.WE all love your show you have earned it I think we have seen you in every thing you have done.I see Emmy in your future.Every day I know I will be laughing when I come home from work watching you .THankYou Joanne

My daughter watches Days. She tapes it now that school is back in session. She goes to the local Youth Performing Arts High School. One of the Pussycat Dolls graduated from there. Catie is going to be an evil step sister in the schools production of "Into the Woods". Broadway they might not be yet, but our YPAS in noted for its quality as well as graduates that go farther in the Arts. Be there a Pussycat or two.

I watch your show when I am off or working later in the day. It is very entertaining. I tape it to watch when I come home, when I am working. Sometimes I watch it instead of Letterman. Sorry Dave, Bonnie is more my type. Lot better looking too!I leave you with a poem.

Once when I was writing, searching for ode of long ago. A litlle bird danced upon my window sill. His gold feathers shone like glass.
He chirped of chores needed to be done
far too late was he, his missus with the brood.
I pondered and asked noting I'd be Paw one day.
Bear you be, said he,and tottled off his rote he.
Bee in mind, honey sweeter as praise, than words filled with spite. Brush off the hurts of this flight, and next you bee trouble fee. Scury he did
leaving me ponder what he said.
Bright as the moon it came to me as he dusted off
a boo boo or two, life is sweet as honey, bear we mind we a boo boo or two. Praise your child be as light of this world, be they lost in the next.
Licked my honey from my spoon, used my paw until noon.Noting my cub be soon in my mind, but not in jar be they yet.

I LOVE DAYS OF OUR LIVES AND I WATCH ON TV.

I WATCH DAYS 5 DAYS EVERY WEEK EVERY MONTH. I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF DAYS OF OUR LIVES. MY FAVOURITE SCENE WAS BRYAN AND ALLISON SWEENEY SAMI/LUCAS WEDDING RECEPTION. BRYAN DANTTILO GAVE A PIECE OF CAKE TO HIS MOTHER LAUREN KOSLOW.
I WATCH DAYS SINCE 2000. I TAPE DAYS ON MY VCR
IGOT 200 TAPES OF DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

Hi Bonnie,
I do not get many chances to see your show, but when I do, I enjoy it very much. I also have a long lost love that I tried to find, but hard no luck with, hoping you might help. It started about 13 years ago, I was out with a friend relaxing at a local pub, when I felt something hitting the back of my head. I don't know why I did not turn around right away, but I just ignored it. It kept happening, so I finally turned around and when I did I saw the most handsome man that I ever saw (personally) in my life, and next to him a small bowl of popcorn. We started talking, a little dancing, and before I knew it - dating. We had alot in common, both divorced with children, I felt the connection. I was in my thirties but felt like a teen again. We dated for a short time before he moved. For whatever reason, we lost track of each other, but I never forgot about him. All I know about him is that at that time he lived in Chicago, worked at Commonwealth Edison, did roofing on the side, and his parents lived in Burnham, Il.. I know alot of time has past, but the thought of him still puts a smile and a blush on my face. I tried looking for him myself, but got nowhere. Can you help me find Mike Gonzales? Would love to know how he is doing. Maybe become friends again.
Thanks!!
Barb
