SHOW RECAP
Funnyman George Lopez is here! Not only does he voice a Chihuahua in Disney's hit film, 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua' he also has some of his own. You won't believe what happened when his wife tried to throw a wedding for them! 'Iron Chef America's' only female chef, Cat Cora is in our kitchen whipping up ice cream made with bacon! And it gets odder, she uses liquid nitrogen to freeze it! Remember what happened when Bonnie tried eating that graham cracker Bill Nye the Science Guy dipped in that stuff? Wait until Bonnie tastes a spoonful of this! Going from cold to hot, Bonnie then gets a lesson from fire baton twirler Jonathan Burkin. He was a crowd favorite on 'America's Got Talent' and he'll show Bonnie some of his 'hot' moves! Then you better warm up those vocal chords, the audience is playing 'Sing It or Wing It' and this time it's the TV show theme edition.

Ingredients
Makes 1 1/2 quarts

1 lb of applewood smoked
bacon

½ cup of dark brown sugar

3 cups heavy cream

1 cup milk

1 1/4 cups sugar

4 egg yolks

1 vanilla bean, split

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Lay bacon on baking sheet, sprinkle the brown sugar over the bacon and place in the oven. Bake for 14-16 minutes. Let cool and chop fine.

Combine the cream, milk, vanilla bean and sugar in a heavy saucepan and cook over medium-high heat until hot and the sugar is completely dissolved, stirring occasionally. When done, remove vanilla bean and discard.

In a small bowl, beat the egg yolks until smooth. Slowly whisk in 1 cup of the hot cream-milk mixture. Return the yolk mixture to the saucepan, beating constantly. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture coats the back of a wooden spoon, 6-8 minutes. Do not let it boil.

Strain the mixture into a clean bowl and let it cool completely. Stir in bacon and add liquid nitrogen* in small amounts until thickened, about 2 liters.

Bonnie, I just had to write to tell you how much I love your show. I'm a 53 year old lady and record the show everyday so I don't have to watch the commercials. When you and George Lopez were recalling stories about growing up, I just had to laugh out loud. When he mentioned "choices", I remembered the "choices" we were given also! Please keep doing what you do, make people laugh out loud all while raising money for many great causes. After I have crocheted many scarves or baby blankets, I'll figure a way to get them to your show so you can donate them to any of the great charities you support.
God be with you, always and keep the laughs coming! Thank you, Kathryn johnson

Hey, just wanted to say I am a huge fan of your show. I record each show on my DVR and then play back the best parts for my family. "Ninja Cat" is still on there and anyone who comes to visit, has to watch my fav things from your show almost like vacation slides...then I loved Shane Mercado segment when he did Beyonce' he was amazing and very entertaining to watch. The best part of that one though is of Don dancing along with him with the green screen behind...OM gosh! Now, I have Shane dancing to Sat Night Fever & it's all ready for company who might drop by! "Sorry, no freshly baked cookies here but if you have a few minutes there's some TV I'd like to show you!" I also loved it when Bill Nye was on and was making you taste that nasty frozen graham cracker - alright with the sub zero temperatures! Did he have you sign a waiver?!? 'Cause that could be your angle! Oh, and HOW could I forget? Your Mom...she cracks me up and more than that is your response to her...just priceless! Thanks for including her on your show...very, very great stuff! Thanks for letting me chat away here and if you are ever in Yelm, Washington...call me 'cause i have all kinds of stuff saved for ya!

Hi Bonnie! I love your show. It's a terrific feel good part of my day. I would love to know about your wardrobe - I love your clothes! I searched the website but couldn't really find any info on it.
Thank you! Please know what a wonderful positive contribution you are making by producing such a great show.
Happy Holidays!
MaryBeth

My wife and I discovered your show a couple of weeks ago. The first thing we did was set the DVR for 9AM daily so we won't miss it. Great!!

Please advise where we can get info in Todd English. The tortilla stuff he and you cooked up last week looks real good. I need the recipe badly!!

Thank you

Love your show...
After Katrina I found a bottle with a message and a picture on the beach in Cancun. It was about 5 years old.. can't find the man who wrote the letter.. anyway you could help?

Bonnie,
I just love your show!!!! I am 46 years old
and I have seen alot of talk shows, and yours
is so unique. I love the fact that you also
like the old actors and entertainers, like
some of them that your have on your wall on
the set.
You have such a neat personality and sence of
hurmor, and the way you connect with the guest
on your show, especially the older actors and
entertainers on your show. It's just so neet
to see somebody conect with and respect these
people, and to share some of the good old days
with our younger generation.
Anyway, I just wanted you to know how much I
love your show, and you. I wish you and your
show the very best, and I hope your will continue
being on the air for a long time.

Your show didn't broadcast in my area today. I have your show programmed to record. I am dissapointed. My family and I look forward to watching it everyday. We also love George Lopez, and are sad to have missed it:(

Bonnie Bonnie Bonnie!
You are so funny! I do not watch talk shows, but I watch yours, usually as I'm getting to go to work PM shift. I can just see you as an RN making your patients laugh. I try to make that part of my day, too. Humor.... it's magical. And it's part of my everyday care with my patients.

I love the set, I love your wit, I love that you are so unpretentious. I love the MOM stuff. You're just cute!!
Jennifer, RN

YOU JUST CRACK ME UP AND MAKE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD!

IDEA!!
Why don't you have a show with an audience filled with RNs?!!

Hi Bonnie love the show and I watch your show everyday religiously. I watched the rerun of the show today and enjoyed it as Much as the first time I watched it. I became disabled last year with a Neurological disease. My wife Diane thinks it's MS but nothing has shown up physically in the brain MRIs yet. But I am so happy your show is on it really brightens my day since I can't work anymore. My wife had to go back to work and is installing Uverse tv for AT&T. We used to live in Berwyn on Ogden and Grove by Macneal Hospital. We moved to Joliet about 10 years ago. My wife watches the recorded shows and always says being adopted and never had a sister, she wishes she had a sister just like you. We just love you so much and wish we could make it to California to see you and to give you a big hug!!! Love you and your show and glad you have a show we are huge fans. And have seen you in all your movies. Good luck and may God bless you and your family through the holidays.

Bonnie,
I have always enjoyed your acting but your show is so much better... we get to be with you! You are so funny and so real and that is why I love you! Your set is so much fun and so my style. Thank you for your truth ~ being real in a world that is so fake at times. I love that you called the man who your mom knew in her youth. When you thanked him for being an influence in your mom's life to share with you who he was after a break-up you had, I was SO TOUCHED that both you and Aldo got chocked up.
I only get to see you on Mondays as I work from home on Mondays. I don't own a DVR but you'll be the first show I record every day when I do get one!
God Bless and please continue to be funny!
Cathy

It's Monday, December 1, 2008. Why are you in reruns? I love the show and look forward to it every weekday.
A very Happy Holiday.
