SHOW RECAP
Funnyman George Lopez is here! Not only does he voice a Chihuahua in Disney's hit film, 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua' he also has some of his own. You won't believe what happened when his wife tried to throw a wedding for them! 'Iron Chef America's' only female chef, Cat Cora is in our kitchen whipping up ice cream made with bacon! And it gets odder, she uses liquid nitrogen to freeze it! Remember what happened when Bonnie tried eating that graham cracker Bill Nye the Science Guy dipped in that stuff? Wait until Bonnie tastes a spoonful of this! Going from cold to hot, Bonnie then gets a lesson from fire baton twirler Jonathan Burkin. He was a crowd favorite on 'America's Got Talent' and he'll show Bonnie some of his 'hot' moves! Then you better warm up those vocal chords, the audience is playing 'Sing It or Wing It' and this time it's the TV show theme edition.

Ingredients
Makes 1 1/2 quarts

1 lb of applewood smoked
bacon

½ cup of dark brown sugar

3 cups heavy cream

1 cup milk

1 1/4 cups sugar

4 egg yolks

1 vanilla bean, split

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Lay bacon on baking sheet, sprinkle the brown sugar over the bacon and place in the oven. Bake for 14-16 minutes. Let cool and chop fine.

Combine the cream, milk, vanilla bean and sugar in a heavy saucepan and cook over medium-high heat until hot and the sugar is completely dissolved, stirring occasionally. When done, remove vanilla bean and discard.

In a small bowl, beat the egg yolks until smooth. Slowly whisk in 1 cup of the hot cream-milk mixture. Return the yolk mixture to the saucepan, beating constantly. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture coats the back of a wooden spoon, 6-8 minutes. Do not let it boil.

Strain the mixture into a clean bowl and let it cool completely. Stir in bacon and add liquid nitrogen* in small amounts until thickened, about 2 liters.

Bonnie, even though I am older than you, I want to grow up to be like you with my own show. You are SO funny!!!!! I look forward to your show every day @ 3pm. I love your tribute to Dean Martin. I never missed his show. I loved your sitcom that was own and was upset when it stopped. I love the fact that those on the sitcom now work for you in that capacity. You seem like one big family.

George Lopez is a mess! He is so funny!!! Glad to see him doing better physically.

I love George Lopez and miss his sitcom. You two should do a project together. It would be a riot!

AM

I like the show but the audience screaming gives me a headache.

dear Bonnie,
Ijust wanted to say how much i love your show. I love movies from the 40's and 50's so when you had Tony Curtis on I was in awe. I have two small kids and they take their naps around 2:00 so i can relax ans enjoy your show.I love that you bring your mom on and talk about growing up in Chicago. You are someone that alot of us can relate to and our kids can look up to. I loved when you had Dookie on. Thanks again for having a great show on and that is so fun to watch.
Sincerely Tasha

I was crying I was laughing so hard at George Lopez. Please have him on again! The two of you together really flowed and I'm still giggling at the show.

Bonnie,
I saw your show for 3 days in a row. I watched eventhough I had seen it, with Tony Curtis. Enjoyed your humor with the reddi whipp. I wanted to find where to comment about the turkey. How about ** "What's this .. ohh it's just a feather stuck in it's ahhh ... never mind." OR "Do they pluck this end too?"
Great, looking forward to watching more shows.
Thanks for a GREAT morning.

Hi Bonnie: I'm your 2nd cousin on your grandfather's side. I'm one of the French cousins, that's what you called us when you met us. I'm the youngest. Your Mom looks wonderful and your show is a blast. I've been following you and this is a winner!!!! Hope you remember who I am, you have the humour of your grandmother. I live in Atlanta, GA now, but still have children and grandchildren in Chicago. One of your siblings live next to my daughter Odile in Buffalo Grove.
Best show ever, you're great.
