SHOW RECAP
Joan Lunden: We loved waking up to her as the co-host of "Good Morning America," and now this entrepreneur has created a camp for women. As a mother of 7 children, she knows that it's not just the kids who need to get away! And for kids who do get away, she's got an invention to help with that -- you'll want to see it!

Scott Speedman ("Adoration"): He could have been an Olympic swimmer, but it wasn't until he auditioned for "Batman and Robin" that his life took a dramatic turn. Hear about his newest film that was a hit at Cannes Film Festival.

Bethenny Frankel ("Skinny Girl"/"Real Housewives of NYC"): Her diet book is number three on the New York Times Best Seller list, and her reality show just had its season finale. She'll share what we can expect from the reunion shows coming up this week!

Maury Marler: This guy is definitely not keeping his feet planted firmly on the ground. At the age of 90 he's taking lessons to get his pilot's license. Wait until you meet this inspiring man and see the birthday surprise Bonnie has for his 91st.

Love Love your show Bonnie. I am a dog lover as well and it's so refreshing to see all that you do for them to help them get adopted by loving homes.

I am very interested in the "Kinder Cord" created by Joan Lundon you had on your show on May 11th. Can you please provide me the info on how to get it? I have a 2 1/2 year old little girl I would love not have to chase around while shopping. :-)

Thank you so much for being you!

Hi

First, it is wonderful to have a GOOD, FUNNY, WHOLESOME,ENTERTAINING, variety show - I think this is the only one on the air any more. LOVE your mom segments.

Can you possibly tell me where I can purchase the Kinder Cord?

Thank you for the info and for your wonderful show.

I've finally come down from Cloud 9 and wish to thank all of you who had such kind words for me. Bonnie Hunt and her entire staff were wonderful, not only to me, but to my daughter and her husband.

That whole show is a class act! Bonnie, I wish you every success in the future.

Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart.

Maury

I loved the segment when Bonnie called the winner of the Australia Contest and invited her whole family to the show!!! She really deserved that trip! Please post the video of the phone call on the website.

Hi Bonnie-

Love your show! I had the priviledge of interviewing Maury twice for our hometown newspaper, which is where this story first took off. I am so greatful for the time you took to treat this special man like the first class star that he is!

Thank you!

Susan

Hi Bonnie, I love your show more every time I see it. You are so REAL.

please tell me where I can get more info on Joan Lunden's KINDER CORD she mentioned she invented on your show on Monday, May 11, 2009. May daughter is interested but no one wants to use a "leash". This sounds better.

All the best to you and your Mom

Janet from Morgan Hill, CA.

I would like to thank the entire staff of the Bonnie Hunt Show for the professionalism that they have shown in telling my father's (Maury Marler)story. We were treated like a royal family during the taping of the show, and it will remain as a special memory for us. Bonnie is a class act and I will never forget her hugs and the joy that this story brought to so many people. Thank you for the vision to see the power of this story.

I am a flight attendant and to see Maurry on your show made me so emotional. I had tears rolling down my cheeks. But they were tears of happiness!!!!

So yes, his wish came true, he made me happy to see him on your show.

I don't miss a show, even when I am working I tape it!!! Your show makes my day!!! I love it!!

The show was great, as always. My family and I are BIG fans of your show and particularly love the segments with your mom as well as all the pet videos, pet stories and visiting animals. Joan Lunden's camp sounds wonderful; wish we could afford to go! Maury was a real day brightener, to say the least. My daughter was not kidding when she told you she'd like to take him home so she and my mom could fight over him!!! Thanks so much for the kind words you had for my mom (the "redhead" in the wheelchair). She said you made her day, and she is still bubbling over about it.

I just want Maury to know that his birthday wish was fulfilled a hundred times over! He made me smile so much. God truly blessed my dreary morning through him!

Happy 91st Birthday to Maury...and many more!
What a wonderful, joyful, sweet man. He was an inspiration to all that watched your show today. He made many people smile and fulfilled his birthday wish several times over. I know he touched my heart! His family is so blessed to have him in their lives and we too, for only a brief moment. Hope that he visits the show again. Thanks Bonnie...you are a treasure as well.

Hi Bonnie,
I have been watching your show for several months now; after I return from a long day at the office I look forward to watching the recorded daily show, it is always uplifting and fun. Today was very special with Maury. I love him and he made me very happy. His 90th birthday wish came true many times over for many of us (Hunties). I have not ever had a grandfather in my life (I'm 53 years old) but I would be so blessed to have one in Maury! He was ever so kind, gentlemanly and wise, and oh so cute. Please let him know he will remain in many hearts after seeing him today on the show!

Thank you for your hard work and efforts in having such a fine show; you all bring lots of joy and laughter each day to me and I really appreciate it.

Maury made my day! Oh, what a happy day!

I LOVED Maury, what a great guy! I'm not the kind of person to tear up easily but Maury really got me! What an inspiration to others! Thank you for giving us such wonderful stories with so much heart.

Maury was wonderful on today's show. I often cry while I watch the show. I cry when you call people who have won something on the show. Their enthusiasm is so heartfelt - I cry! Today I cried when Maury talked about flying and looking at the earth that the Lord has created and how much we should look at it and appreciate it! Wow! And from looking at many of the postings here on the website...I am in the company of many other "cry babies"...YAY!!! Bonnie's Crybabies of the world..UNITE!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

(I'm just wondering what the heck I'm going to do at noon everyday once your show goes into re-runs???) I love you, I love your show, I love your crew.

First I LOVE your show always a fun time! Today especially was great. I was having one of those days when nothing goes right and it's just a bad day then I saw Maury. He was so cute I love him and when he said his wish was to make someone watching the show happy I couldn't stop laughing, because he did just that. He made me happy for sure which changed my mood and helped make my day a little better. Thank you Bonnie and Thank You Maury I wish I could be more like him.

Hi Bonnie

I want to comment on Murry the " Flyman" on your show today 4/11/09. 1st, Happy B-day murry! and second. You gave me inspiration today Murry. What you said about flying and looking down on the beatiful earth that our creator gave to us and how he must love us to give us such a beatiful gift. A whole lot of faith in everything has gotten away from me these past few years. And I have been extremly depressed for about two years now and what you said today touched my heart in a place that hasn't been touched in many years, thank you for helping me remember that theres still a little life in there. I really thought it went dead. And as far as your Birthday wish... Well... Thank you and our creator for people like you Murry. Happy Birthday and many more healthy and happy ones to come. Fly on Murry...

Cat

Bonnie, you are the greatest. I love the show, guest and Mom I can relate to all as I am a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Keep up the good work. Please dress Bonnie in more bright tops and clothes. Thanks, Shirley
