SHOW RECAP
Hank Azaria ("Night at the Museum"): He's playing the evil pharaoh in this highly anticipated sequel, but that's not the only character you will hear this funny guy playing in the film. No stranger to doing voices, he's the man behind many of your favorites on "The Simpsons."

Mary McCormack ("In Plain Sight"): Her character on this show may have to help keep people hidden, but there was no hiding that this actress had talent when she was a kid at her first communion. Hear her hilarious story of how she got the acting bug.

The Poor Chef Charles Mattocks ("Eat Cheap But Eat Well"): He's the nephew to Bob Marley, but this chef's claim to fame is his ability to make delicious recipes that won't cost you. Today he'll share his Mama's Curry Shrimp with Bonnie.

Melinda Hill: This comedian has been making a name for herself with her smart sense of humor. Bonnie is pleased to welcome this hilarious lady to the show.

I was just watching the show and Mary McCormack was commenting on the fact that her family managed to get 2 Mary's into the children's names -- well she's lucky her family isn't as goofy as mine. All the girls on my mom's side of the family (including my sister and me)have Mary as a first name!

My Grandmother: Mary Anne
My Mom: Mary Sarah Anne (but was always called Sally)
My Aunt: Mary Claire
My other Aunt: Mary Patrica (went by Patty)
My sister: Mary Kelly (called Kelly)
Me: Mary Megan (called Megan)

And to keep the pattern somewhat consistent - my brother was Joseph Sean!

Help!
My Mom and sister-in-law were on your Memorial Day show with Hank Azaria. The problem is that it's shown on Fox here in Las Vegas and Fox pre-empted your show to cover a car race. I didn't even get to see my own mother!
I'm desperate! Is there a way to find out if the show will be aired again? or maybe I can get ahold of a copy of the episode?
(Long stoy, but my Mom lives in Denver and so saw herself, but my sister-in-law is in Vegas and hasn't been able to see herself on TV yet.)
You would be helping more than just me if you can just steer me in the right direction to get this problem resolved.
Thank you so much in advance!

Dear Bonnie,
I was so disappointed at your comments about the end of "American Idol". California and the American Idol judges do not represent America. You never mentioned that obviously, America wanted Kris to win because he got the most votes. Also Ryan Seacrest never said anything about the vote even being close....America chose Kris.

okay so i had a glass of wine ..or 5 and i was awake when your show was on and omg i love hank azirp ! he was amazing never seen him before or your show saw and loved you on by the dozen 2 my n12 year old 2 ! but you are great and histerical! this has change my tv listing!!!

Hi Bonnie,
I love watching your show.
I'd like send my granddaughters baby pictureand can't find out how or wher please help.
Thank you!
One more thing Bonnie, I was 50 years old and divorced. I never thought I'd never get married again, but GOD had better plans for me, I met my husband of 7 years and we are very happy.
I know you will meet someone that will love you and that is worthy of you, it will happen when you least expect it.

Keep up the great show. Love you Bonnie!

Hey Bonnie,
You had a show on a while back and it caught my attention. Do you remember the show with all the nurses in the audience? Well because of that show I enrolled in nursing school. The way you spoke about nursing and also the audience members inspired me. I am unemployeed and a single mother of a 2 year old boy, Dante'. I wanted to go back to school but did not know what for until your show. It hit me like a brick. I am suppose to be a nurse. I am hoping to start this summer if not in the fall. Thank you again and again. Your mother is a hoot. I love you both. Dante' says hi.

P.s. Sometimes I take my son to daycare just so I won't be bothered when watching your show. LOL. Who does that?? I do!!

always love the show, but did not find Melinda Hill at all funny. She used very poor taste with some of her jokes. Everyone else was, as usual very entertaining!

I absolutely love your show Bonnie, I tape it everyday to watch when I get home from work. Are any of these recipes you do with the cooks on your site? Would love the amounts for the ingredients in the "Mama's curried shrimp" You did with Charles Mattocks. And WHEN are you getting Charlie a playmaate???

Yea the comic did not do it for me either. I also love the fact that bonnie is just pure fun, none of this politics or religion, just giving people a good time. I have to admit i think hank was a bit different than i thought he would be in person or on the show, the food looked great and i did some research on the chef and he has something about him i really like, well kudos for bonnie go girl

Love your show and watch frequently.
Mary McCormack is a very favorite heroine for me and I knew she was gonna ace the poll but it got her. I have a You Tube segment of you with Jennifer Beals and she attacked that poll and made it look so easy.
Hey Bonnie...Can you show us how it's supposed to b don.

Omigod,

Those Bonnie dolls are absolutely hilarious!!! Kudos to whoever spent hours on creating them. When you took the sunglasses off of Beach Bonnie, I almost wet my pants!

I also love that Bonnie never misses an opportunity for an "adult" double entendre! Her raunchy humor is faaaabulous!

Where can I get a Bonnie Hunt Show tee-shirt?

Can't wait for next season!!

Congrats Bonnie and the entire crew for crafting a fresh, funny, and entertaining show. What a great way to de-stress!!

We love Bonnie!!!!!!!

Love, Steph V. from Boston

Johnnie,

You can still watch the Bonnie Hunt show from May 26th til the beginning of September but they will all be repeats. Season Two with all the new shows will begin probably around Sept 8th like last year.
Believe me I am not happy Season One is all over.
I love Bonnoe Hunt.. Oh Is it September yet..
Wishful thinking !!!
Have a great summer Bonnie, Alice, & Charlie.
You will be very missed..

Karen

The show was very good, enjoyed it all but the UNfunny comedian. Melinda something was very dull and boring.

BONNIE BONNIE BONNIE,
YOU ARE SO DAMN FUNNY, NO MATTER HOW I FEEL ALL I HAVE TO DO IS WATCH YOUR SHOW AND IN MINUTES I'M LAUGHING!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HUMOR AND GREAT ENTERTAINMENT.

WHAT? WHAT? This cannot be true! Karen said THE BONNIE HUNT SHOW is at it's Season One end!!!This cannot be!! Bonnie, I can't be deprived of the clean, non-political, wonderful and funny guests. You give us insight into their beliefs, their families, their unsung worth, their pain and struggles just like the "common folks". I am learning to operate this computer in my old age, just so I can do things like this (my 17 year old grandson got his for Xmas and he loves Mamaw!) So all these fine producers, sponsors (YEA WALGREENS), finest staff in TV and of course Alice and Charlie. I love Alice and I will cover her later. We see her thru you!! So 2 weeks paid!Seriously, don't stay gone long YOU ALL ROCK!!!!

The recipe looked amazing, i bought his book about a week ago when i saw the chef on the today show, why does this guy not have his own tv show hes so good. Also the comic was good but yea some of the jokes were a but hard core but i see where she was going with things. Love ya bonnie

I remember when I was pregnant with my daughter i craved the smell of gas, oil and mud. I use to park at the gas station at odd hours of the day just for the smell. I would water the dirt in my yard verses the grass because I loved the smell of mud. I spoke to my doctor about it and he said I was missing some minerals in my system and that is why I had the cravings.

My middle son ate Crisco with a spoon right out of the can and the pediatrician told me the same. I started giving hm lots of salted nuts and saltine crackers and he stopped the Crisco.

Wow! The show was great today, but finding the recipe was a bugger! I had to look all over the internet... Thanks to Candace above I actually found it! Thanks Candace!!! Oh, by the way..Melinda Hill was great too.

Could you make this process easier for us?

I love your show! It is my favorite morning talk show - watch daily or at least DVR it. I was disappointed in the comedian Melinda Hill that appeared on Monday's show. I found her remarks at the expense of the homeless in very poor taste (especially with so many families suffering in this economy). In fact, I left the room until she was off the air. You seem to be a very down to earth person, one you could sit with and talk for hours. Please keep up the good shows (love the dogs)and your Mom.
Jane

LOVE the show!! Had to watch from my BlackBerry. The Nascar race took you off here in SC.

Hank was so funny in the movie!
