Kathryn Joosten - Friday, November 14th
There's something up with new neighbor Neal McDonough on 'Desperate Housewives' and Kathryn Joosten plays the only resident who's not trusting him. She'll be here and Bonnie will see if she'll let us in on more of what to expect from this unfolding mystery. Tawny Kitaen used to have a rockstar's life, then it all changed when she became addicted to drugs. She recently spent some time at 'Celebrity Rehab' and she'll share with Bonnie some of her sobering experiences there. The last time the Busch Gardens and Sea World animals were here things got wild when a kangaroo got into it with a warthog. See what happens this time when Gary Faucher comes back with some more amazing animals.

I wonder if Bonnie even reads any of these messages because everyone seems to ask about her coffee mug and she never mentions how they can get it. What gives??? Also, Bonnie seems to copy what ever Ellen does on her show.....the games, calling people on the phone and now the snake....Ellen had one on her show and it was hilarious. I still would like to see Ellen on the Bonnie Hunt show....wouldn't everyone else?
Bonnie,
I know you will appreciate this as anyone who is an animal lover will.
I have been watching your show since the 1st day it aired and I remember when you told all of us the sad story of your precious dog Buddy.
I cried with you as I am an animal lover also.. I felt your sadness as you told the story of his passing and how Charlie was right there by his side til the very end..
I was just watching Oprah and at the end of her segment I am not sure if you watch her but, being born and raised in Chicago maybe you do.
Well anyway it was at the end of her show and she informed us that her dog Soloman had passed away. She had him for 14 years and where ever she was Soloman was right by her side. She took him to work with her everyday .. She then took a moment and showed us several clips of Soloman from the moment she got him at Christmas until now.
It was very sad as I found myself in tears and so wasn't Oprah..
As we all know when we lose one of are pets that is like a family member to us it is very hard and you go through a mourning process as if you lost a human being..
I wanted to share this with you as I know you know just how she feels..
Unconditional love..
Thanks for reading
Karen
HI bonnie,
The sweet lighter colored otter in your video died recently. She was Nyac from the Vancouver Aquarium.
http://www.vanaqua.org/pressroom/Nyac.html
She was rescued from the exon valdeeze incident in alaska and was 20 years old.
THe boy otters always fought over her so only one could be with her at a time. They rotated the boys so they all had hand holding time.
SHe was precious.
Hi Bonnie,,,just wanted to let you know i love your show,,,i think your great,,pretty and i wish i could find a funny, pretty lady like you for me,,,yes old divorced guy who has a crush on you,,,i dont get to watch the show everyday,,but when i do,,cant wait to turn you on,,lol,,ok,,bad choice of words,,but you get the idea,,,lol,,thanks,,clark
Hi Bonnie
Just enjoy your show sooo much ! It is so refreshing and entertaining. It reminds me of a cross between the Carol Burnett show and The mike Douglas show (God Rest His Soul ) Perhaps I'm aging myself ; but who cares ! LOL
It was so funny with the animals especially the snake... To tell you the truth I almost wet my pants. Shhh! don't tell anybody.and I really commend the girl who was in Rehab and is doing well now .
But Bonnie even when you don't say anything , just the look on your face i know your going to come out with something funny. You are just a "Breath of fresh air ". Susan K. Toms River NJ
Dear Bonnie,
What a pick-me-up you are in the middle of the day. I see your face, and the way you wear you hair right now, and I see the perfect actor to play Doris Day in a movie about her life. You have a lot of friends in Hollywood, maybe you could get this going. You're a great singer, you could jazz it up with some of her famous songs, everybody over 40 loves Doris Day, people would love to see you as the star playing Doris, in her biography.
I hope your show is a mainstay for a long time, Bonnie. Your warm personality really is so soothing in these crazy anxious times, with everything going to H in a handbasket. You are such a great person to have on to emmulate caring and compassion, something we need much more of on TV today. Best of luck for many seasons to come.
Hi Bonnie,
I've been watching your show for a couple of weeks. My Fiance' told me to watch it as he said my sense of humor images yours and that I resemble you. Well, I have to say, I could only WISH I had a great sense of humor like you and be as pretty as you. You ROCK in this as in your your movies -- ( I loved the interview w/Kevin Neely)
Today's show was GREAT. I'm a fan of Celebrity Rehab (I too am a recovering alcoholic) I truly enjoyed the interview w/Tawny Kataen. She is a superwoman. Beautiful, brains, two lovely girls, clean and sober -- she's AWESOME -- as are you.
I hope the show keeps going strong. Take Care
Really enjoy your show! Yes, an unemployed television viewer. Still, clean, wholesome, retro!
Bonnie,
Love the show today I think I am going out tonight and buying a snake.. (Just Kidding)
Kathryn Joosten is such a delight she is so cute on the show desperate housewives.. She plays that part very well.. It is amazing that she has done so much in her life.. God Bless Her !!!
That segment with you and the snake was hilarious
I tivo it and I had to rewind it a couple of times because you were toooo funny with your actions and comments..
I loved seeing the skunks they are so cute.. I just don't want to run into one at night
(Nobody Does) but they are adorable.
It was nice to see Tawny Kitaen is doing great.. She needs to keep up the good work and be strong for herself and her 2 girls.
2 Years of being sober and drug free is quite an accomplishment.
I was looking forward to hearing about Holly's second date with the poet but it seemed that she didn't get much talk time as Tawny came out and took over.. I just would have liked to have heard more and I think if Tawny hadn't of come out she would have gotten a chance to talk more. I mean come on 4 hours on the date.. Details.. She did mention that she won't be going out with him again as there was no attraction.. I can understand that if there is no spark then what is the point..
You can tell she really liked Franke even though the hand thing was a bit much she liked him and felt a connection..
I am old fashioned too so I did agree with you Bonnie about taking things slow and let the man get to know you more and I even stood up for you on the postings for that day..
People were really ripping you to shreds but I posted several times and I replied to them and told then to basically back off and to not be so judgmental towards you..
Maybe Tony will be a better match for Holly and maybe this time we can hear more about her date..
Once again love the show you are the best never change.. You make me laugh each day you are a natural...
Have a nice weekend
Ps: Say hello to your mom for me !!! Hi Alice
Karen
I just wanted to say that I have been a long time fan or yours! Let me start off by appologizing for my spelling because it is pretty bad.
My name is Sherry (like the wine) and probably just as bold too. I am married to the love of my life, Joe JR., and have 4 children who I adore. I am very pervillaged to have 3 grandchildren and one on the way (my oldest step-son - no I didn't have my kids when I was ten. Hee, hee). Tony, my oldest, is 28 yrs., Joe III is 22 yrs., Cessli is 9 yrs., and Mia is 6 yrs. So I was blessed with two boys and two girls. Joe and Tony may not be legally mine but I love them just the same as they were and I am proud of them ALL!
Your so beautiful, I really have no idea how young you are. I know it isn't right to ask a lady's age, so I won't, but I will tell you that I am 37 yrs. and turning 38 on Thanksgiving this year and I BELIEVE I look older than you. I am not kissing up hee, hee, I just thought you deserve honesty right back. Your humor reminds me of Johnny Carson (God bless him) and you are so down to earth and honest. You approach life with love and your love for animals is astonding. I DVR your shows so that I can watch them when I am between house cleaning and resting.
I am a disabled mother who's health causes me to gain and lose weight constantly (Fibromyalgia). I have sizes 8 thru 16 jeans in my closet so that when I flucuate I have something to wear. Yesterday at the grocery store I saw a lady that I have not seen in a while and she asked me if I was pregnant. I was shocked and made a joke (My sister and I often joke like you). When you had that lovely lady on who decorated clothes, you changed how I looked at myself. I use to get so upset when I gained again that I would jokingly call myself fat all of the time. Since that show I am loving it and decorating it!!!!
I loved the eps. where you had on 60's things for Halloween. Would you consider doing other erra's too? Like 70's... etc.
I was very moved on how you spoke on Veteran's Day. My step-son is in the Marines and my husband and I think of him constantly. Thank you for that esp.
Also, that blue and black outfit you wore that you joked about looking like something from Alice in Wonderland as one of the cards, It did NOTHING for you and I wouldn't wear it again if I were you. To be honest - that is the first and only time I have seen you in an outfit that I didn't like. I would kill for your figure. Hee, hee.
Take care of yourself and give your mother a hug from our family to yours (my mom is like yours too, WONDERFUL IN EVERYWAY).
Sincerely, Sherry D'Antonio
Hey Bonnie,
love your show!! love ya as an actor! I just wanted to send you a happy, positive eml...Since you rec'd so many negative ones...
I fully agree with your opinion on what happened to Holly...It was very inappropriate & non-gentlemen for him to do that to Holly...nothing against her (I wish her all the best), but if my hubby (of 11yrs)did that to me, I would have totally disrepected him...My hubby actually didn't kiss me until the 3rd date...at the time I thought he was weird but when I look back now I appreciate him for being such a gentlemen! I guess you & I are old fashion in some ways...But both parties should be treated with respect & that wasn't respectful! I would state the samething to my gf's...your a great friend!!
Lookin forward to more of your shows!
your greatful fan
Sonya
Bonnie,
Where can I get a coffee cup like you have on your show? I LOVE it.
Sincerely
Debbie
Hi, Bonnie. I have been watching your show since day one. I am a business owner and have a t.v. in my office at work. I usually love your show, but the large snake was extremely scary. I am a snakeaphobic person. I could not even get close enough to the t.v to turn it off. I had to turn my back and was still very upset. There are a lot of us out here that can't stand to see snakes even on t.v. I thought that I would let you know. You seem like such a nice person. I don't think that you would intentionally make people feel uncomfortable. Otherwise, I truly enjoy the show! Thanks!
I try to catch your show before my daughter comes home from school. I have followed your career for years and receive alot of enjoyment from your work in movies, television, etc. I was so happy to hear that you would have a talk show!! Todays show was great as always! And I too agree that men should keeps hands to self on first date....second date and third date!!! Call me a prude too, but good things come to those who wait!! And, when the time is right for both involved. Continued success and thank you for bringing joy to soo many people! Rose Benoit Saugerties NY
Hi Bonnie,
I first would like to tell you how much fun and laughter, yes laughter, you have brought to me. I am a recent widow and have
not had a lot to laugh at or enjoy in a long time. When I discovered your show I found myself laughing again. Thank you for the laughter and relief from the grief even if it is just an hour a day.
Next, I AGREE WITH YOU............ON A FIRST DATE HE NEEDS TO KEEP HIS PAWS OFF!
Thank you.........keep up the good work.
Ellie
Hey Bonnie,
Love your show. When I am unable to be home, I tape every time. I have always enjoyed you in the movies and the other T.V. shows that you had. If I am not mistaken, didn't you play the daughter of comedian Jonathan Winters on a T.V. series?
Anyway, do love the show and thrilled that you are on daily. I call it my Bonnie fix. I've even gotten my husband hooked. You just make the day a little bit more happy. Keep it up.

Hey there Bonnie...
The SeaWorld segment with the animals was fantastic! I really enjoyed learning about the animals and seeingthe playful nature you have with your Guest Gary Faucher. He is a delight and a fun fresh face in the animal training industry. I hope to see he more on your show and on TV.
Bonnie,
Love your show, my husdand has me tivo it daily and I watch it again with him each night. We are big fans. I met you once on the lot when you were taping many years ago and I will always remember how sweet you were to me. Thank you, thank you.
I thought the Bush/Obama picture should have read:
RACE YOU TO THE DESK!
Thank you for putting a smile on my face each day and love your mom, treasure her daily. Hi Alice!
God bless you and all you do for others.
Debbie
Dear Bonnie,
Today was the first time i actually watched ur show this morning, but wanted to know if u and ur show crew donate money to special Organizations?...i was diagnosed this summer with Generalized Tonic Clonic Epilepsy, been trying to work it out with meds and contact with dr weekly to see what works.
Just wanted to let you and ur crew to know that November is Epilepsy Awareness Month. i'm also working on trying to get hold of all the epilepsy foundations in my areas. so i can raise money for a cure!...
I was recently hospitalized for Migraines, they are mostly connected to my epilepsy, ive apparently had this for quite a while but was finally properly diagnosed in june of this year.
When i get migraines, i get weakness and numbness on my left side, face, leg, and arm, they said it was due to Nerve damage connected to my epilepsy....i'm currently on meds right now trying to straighten that out.
There is no cure for Epilepsy, but is treatment, i want to help others like me to get through this rough road. for the longest time my drs thought it was all mental, but found out it wasnt...Anyways, i thought maybe if i told my story, i can get some people to donate for the Epilepsy foundation, and figured ur a compassionate person, and would understand..i hope u do!...

Bonnie, Today's show was great! When you were doing the contest with the Bush/Obama photo, it suddently hit me that it looked like Obama was teaching Bush to say Nulcear. "Watch my lips, NOOKLEE ER"! Bush seems like he is looking at Obama very intense trying to catch that Pronunciation. The person who won was pretty funny Though.
Love your show! Keep up the great work! My husband just retired and enjoys watching you too. Say's your very down to earth, and we don't see much of that on tv anymore. Thanks - Annette from Albuquerque, NM
