Kathryn Joosten - Friday, November 14th
There's something up with new neighbor Neal McDonough on 'Desperate Housewives' and Kathryn Joosten plays the only resident who's not trusting him. She'll be here and Bonnie will see if she'll let us in on more of what to expect from this unfolding mystery. Tawny Kitaen used to have a rockstar's life, then it all changed when she became addicted to drugs. She recently spent some time at 'Celebrity Rehab' and she'll share with Bonnie some of her sobering experiences there. The last time the Busch Gardens and Sea World animals were here things got wild when a kangaroo got into it with a warthog. See what happens this time when Gary Faucher comes back with some more amazing animals.

Just had to write to comment on the Che Sera Sera segment -brought laughter and a rush of nostalgia as it was pretty much the very first song taught to my twin sister Barb and me - Grandma Judy would tape us on one of those giant old reel to reel tape recorders - our whole family was always singing! As a recent breast cancer survivor and a teacher for over 30 years, I seek out the humor and joy from anywhere - thanks to all of you fora terrific show, but especially to Bonnie ( and mom. Alice!) love...bev
As always I loved the show, the bit with the snake was a full belly laugh! Thanks for making my day that much more pleasant!
Keep up the good work
Bonnie,
What a breath of fresh air today. Standing up for women out there dating is right on. I have an eighteen year old and we stressed the one step at a time approach in dating and she has flourished and retained her self esteem. In addition, my husband is a recovering alcoholic. Thank you for the information on that subject. You are talking about the very subjects, honestly, I might add that so many people need and the unresolved issues that cause these issues in many families. Thank you sooo much!
Hi Bonnie, love your show...Your my idol...Watched you show today with tawny, just love her she is a beautiful and wonderful person inside and out......keep up the great work....Barb from Omaha Ne.......

Hello Bonnie,
You yourself will probably never see this email as you most likely have a number of "screeners" but I HAD to email you for two reasons - first of all, I LOVED you in JUMANJI - what a great performance and true love story!! And the other is that I have just been laid off and as I am in between looking online for jobs, your show has been inspirational and uplifting. I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me during a very trying time in my life...to keep smiling and moving forward. You have revived my faith and I than you SO much!
There is so much more that I would like to tell you (I survived the World Trade Center Bombing of 1993, etc) and I find you such an inspiration.
THANK YOU *SO* MUCH!!!

This is about the adorable video of the otters holding hands;
Vancouver Aquarium sea otters, Nyac and Milo, were the stars on YouTube in 2007.
Sadly on September 23, 2008, Nyac died of chronic lymphocytic leukemia at the ripe old age of 20. She was one of the last surviving sea otters of the Exxon Valdez oil spill. According to the Aquarium’s Staff Veterinarian, Dr. Martin Haulena, even in her death Nyac is a very important animal because “Lymphocytic leukemia has not been previously reported in sea otters and because there is some association with contact with petroleum in other species … she’ll continue to provide vital information on the long-term effects of oil exposure.”
A video showing the otters holding paws, a natural behavior called "rafting", appeared on the Internet in March 2007. It has now been viewed over 11 million times by people all over the world. Aquarium visitor Cynthia Holmes, who was then a PhD student at the University of British Columbia, shot the video in 2002.
The tremendous response to Ms. Holmes's video on YouTube is a testament to the allure of sea otters. And that's good since they are a threatened species and need our help. Oil spills are one of the greatest threats to sea otters. Nyac, the blond, female otter in the video was a rare survivor of the 1989 Exxon Valdez Oil Spill.
We hope that people watching this video will be inspired to take action - by choosing to drive a fuel-efficient car, for example - to help protect sea otters for our grandchildren.

Bonnie, You were right to tell Holly that Franc was inappropriate. Not only did Franc put his hand on her leg, knowing he was 'moving'. But he also moved to her side of the table when "dessert" was served. Maybe it's just me, but that seemed "suggestive" of what he wanted AFTER the date. hehehe A good, quality man is hard to find... ~Anne
Hi Bonnie,
I have ALWAYS loved you and have been a huge fan of your movies . . BUT, as a talk show host, you are the BEST!! I can't stop laughing and I have shed a few tears as well.
Although while watching you this morning with that darn python, I laughed so hard when it began to wrap itself around your leg - I was crying from the laughter and wet my pants!!
Your compassion and love for all animals has really touched my heart. When you told the story of your dear Buddy's passing and how sensitive sweet Charlie reacted to losing his friend, stayed with me for weeks. I know too well how difficult it is to lose a beloved furkid.
I thank you for sharing your wonderful stories and those of your dear, sweet mom with us.
I hope your show stays on the air for years to come. I can't wait for 10 AM so I can just sit and watch this wonderfully funny, fresh, touching and in my opinion, one the best shows on television today!!
Thank you Bonnie . . .you're the best!!

Hi Bonnie,
Three months ago I began staying full time with my mom 24/7. She suffers from Alzheimers and I didn't want to put her in a nursing home. I spent the first month crying, then I realized I was fortunate to be able to do this for my mom. However, during the week we don't have transportation so the days are long, that's when I rediscovered talk shows. I have to admit I watched a different show that was on the same time you were, until one day I saw you were having Cloris Leachman on your show. I watched the show and have been hooked ever since. You are beautiful inside and out and I love your relationship with your mom. Today's show spoke to me when you talked about when something bad happens in your life and you think it's the end, maybe it's a new beginning. That wasn't your exact words, but I felt that way sitting here day in and day out. I thought about taking classes on line and did apply to Penn.State, but it still didn't feel like that was what I was supposed to be doing. Before this turns in to a novel, we are hoping to adopt if we qualify for the grant. We have three grown sons and they are really excited. Pray we will receive a grant otherwise we can't afford to adopt. Thank you, you brighten peoples day in ways you may never know.
Hey Bonnie!
I swear you said you were going to tell us how to color our hair for $7! I'm still waiting.
My lousy cable company doesn't maintain their lines, and that is how I met you. You arent on my cable, you are on digital TV. As soon as I find out how to do my hair for $7, I'm going to petition to get you on cable.
Oh, who am I kidding. I'm going to write a letter now and still unplug my cable at 11:00 am.
Hi Bonnie,
While watching your show....because I am procrastinating. I am dreading my papers for school.
I got to laughing so hard. The way you got wrapped up with the Bermice Python. OMG...that was so funny.
I really needed a laugh. That did the trick.
Tawny Catane (I know it is spelled wrong) Wow....give her my best wishes and I will pray for her.
Have a great day and i hope you did not feel to violated by that snake.

I thought the show was great, and would like help for drug and alcohol addiction, 10 yrs of it. I think I am also addicted to men, chaos, food, sex, talking, shopping-etc as a result of what I don't know. I have a daughter graduating from the finest college here in n.canton-Walsh and can not even give her a party or help w/ the tons of expenses or a nice congat's party she deserves but I can give her the gift of staying sober and clean and I am doing well for now and she and her sister are glad, however extreme damage has been done, even to my grandbabies, and that breaks my heart and is a shame-I have been a single mom-for the most part-can u help me w/ info to help me live?
I have to tell you that the precious moments you aired with Carrie Ann just made a very disappointing day very very sunny! I hope you invite her back again soon!
P.S. what is going on with the "Dating" activity?
We tape the show every day and love them all. We are coming to California in December. Does the show tape then. We would like to attend.
