SHOW RECAP
Mary Tyler Moore ("Growing Up Again..."): She's one of the iconic comedic actresses of our time, but through all the laughs, this legendary star has been dealing with Type 1 diabetes for the past 40 years. Her new book takes a heartfelt look at her life with diabetes -- and offers guidance to others living with the disease.

I saw the cutiest little dog on the show. It was white and fluffy with tan ears. What is the breed of that dog?
Jan

I have just found your show in the last two months and I love it because I have always loved your enthusiasm, sense of humor, a sharp whit.

When will we be seeing new shows.
Janice

I wondered when Bonnie will be back on with new shows. She's probably doing a film or something, but if you could put that on your website, it woulod be helpful.

I tape all the shows, so the "encore presentations" are getting a little old over the past month.

Date when new shows will be on????
thanks!

Hi,
I am a huge fan of Bonnies` but has she been dropped by her sponsors ?? I have not seen a new show in a long while. Just wondering if she has any new shows coming up ?
Hope to hear good news..
Sincerely.
Maria( from Bonnyville Alberta Canada)

Tom
The dog looks like a terrier/golden retriever mix to me

Mary Tyler Moore. What a class act. Working in the physical therapy field, I've treated with people who have less defecits than Mary and could use just a teaspoonfull of her optimism. Her light beams from her.
As an ardent animal rescuer, I appreciate her respect for dogs, especially the oft maligned pit bull. Thank you, Mary for covering so many topics at once.
Much respect and love
Audrey

Dear Bonnie,

Love you and your show. I also love Mary so today's show is special.

I just wanted to comment on your tree planting. First, let me say thank-you for encouraging others to plant trees. I do think it's important however that it be planted farther away from the house then you did. The roots end up seeking water and will break open water pipes and foundations. Another reason is when the branches touch the house they may give carpenter ants an easy way to enter your house. Once the tree gets too big you have to move it or cut it down for the above reasons and that is a shame. Flowers and smaller plants are fine next to the house but trees should be out about 10 ft (at least) depending on the growth rate and size of the tree.

Thanks for everything you do!
Terry Cork

Like your show but had to let you know that before it's to late you need Jerry Lewis on your show ...Dean and Jerry were the best in the days...I know that would be your highest rated most watched show of your career...keep up the good work and Best to ya!!

I have a question for Dina Zaphiris, on today's show, the first dog she brought on that I think was named Beverly, before she changed it.
I would like to know what breed of dog that was, or was it a mix of some kind.

Thanks,
Tom

Dear Ms. Hunt,
Your today as all of your shows are great but today was especially great because of your concern in finding a home for the orphan animals. I know that each and everyone of the orphans if they could talk wish to thank you and Dina, for doing what you are doing for them and I thank you too!
Sincerely MP

Bonnie,
Thank MTM for bringing awarness of dibeates to everyone, I was a victim of being fired for work because of my Dieabetes and heart problem, also thank her for bringing the awareness of the symptoms of our health problems, I became dieabtic when I had 3/4 Pranceaus taken out in 2003, where I had died on the operating table, and now having trouble dealing whith this Illness, but maybe there's might be hope for me, i just recieve the dieabetic pump, maybe that will help control this, Thanks again
Rich

Wow, MTM looks beautiful! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your show Bonnie!

I was listening to the pet finder, but my son was talking to me so I missed what she was saying was good for cleaning up the scent of dog pee. I thought I heard vinegar? Does anyone know if this was correct or what works well? I have an old dog that just can't hold it like he used to, and don't want to lock him in a kennel when we leave so I am trying to find an alternative.

Hi Bonnie,

I saw your segment when you planted the camphor tree next to your production office for Arbor Day. I had to write to you because in five years the tree's roots will break the foundation of the building and dominate the side of the structure. They also put out berries/seed which germinate and produce hundreds of new trees each year. The camphor tree is not indigenious to many states and should not be planted because they are very prolific. A camphor should not be planted within thirty feet of a structure because it will grow to seventy feet tall and have a limb spread of eighty feed in diameter. I have four of them on my property in Florida.

Good luck and I enjoy your show,

RC
