Dear Bonnie,
This is the first time I've written to a talk show host but you seem like a great person so I thought I'd take a chance and write you. My name is Michael Gabauer and I'm 33 years old and live in Paola, Kansas. I am an aspiring singer and thought I got a big break about 3 weeks ago when I was asked to go on America's Got Talent. The producers asked me to sing "Somebody to Love" by Queen and even went as far as to say I sounded as good as Freddie Mercury. However, I wasn't very lucky and got three no's. Several crying spells later I decided NOT to give up and give you a shout. I know you're very busy but if you get a chance I'd like to know what YOU think...you're opinion would mean a lot to me! I'm on youtube.com under Michael Gabauer. I have two songs posted "Somebody to Love" and "Bohemian Rhapsody". I do sing other songs besides Queen, but I thought, ah, what the hell...lol. Take a look and see what you think! Hope to hear from you in the near future and I LOVE your show! You keep it real and that's awesome! Michael Gabauer
Bonnie, if you get this, I still love your show - rerun's or not. Of course I love the new ones. There are only two shows I turn the tv on to watch, of course the first is "The Bonnie Hunt Show". Todays show had me rolling on the floor laughing. I have to tell you what I'm sure you hear all the time, you're a very good looking woman. Hope this gets to you.
Gary
Bonnie -
I work during the day when you show is on, but I DVR it so I can watch it at night after I get home.
Your interview with Chris Jericho on the Tuesday show really perked up. When he said his Grandmother watched wrestling so intensely, it took me back a few years - to the early 1950s. I was still a kid, and there was only one TV station back then.
My Grandmother used to set her rocking chair right in front of the TV every Saturday afternoon. She would laugh till I thought she would choke, and rock so hard we thought she would tip over backwards. It was definitely her favorite show. I can remember my Mom and my Aunt were worried about Grandma and even asked her not to watch it anymore because she got so excited. She was afraid Grandma would have a heart attack (or break something falling backwards). She was already in her 70s and on heart medication.
Grandma passed in 1958 at the age of 83. I still remember how much she sure loved her wrestling shows, and how much my Mom and Aunt hated them. Grandma was cool!!!!
HI BONNIE, MY NAME IS EMO I AM A FAN OF YOURS AND I HAVE WATCHED YOU OVER THE YEARS. I ENJOY WATCHING YOUR SHOW AND TAPE IT SO WHEN I DO MISS IT I CAN CATCH UP. A NUMBER OF YEARS AGO YOU WERE ON A SITCOM WITH DENNIS QUAID AND JOHNATHAN WINTERS AND MY SON AND I REALLY ENJOYED THAT SHOW AND I HAVE OFTEN WONDERED WHY THEY TOOK IT OFF THE AIR.
