SHOW RECAP
John McEnroe ("50 Over 50 Prostate Health Challenge"): He made a name for himself on the tennis court with his strong and loud opinions on bad umpire calls. Now the tennis pro, who recently turned 50, is urging other men over 50 to be vocal about prostate health care -- and to get checked.
Chris Harrison ("The Bachelorette"): By now we all know how the last "Bachelor" panned out, and sadly, Jillian didn't find love. Now she's back as the next most eligible "Bachelorette," but this time around there are more single guys! Hear what we can expect this time when host Chris Harrison is here.
Jennette McCurdy ("iCarly"): Not only is she starring in this hit Nickelodeon show, this young actress has a new CD coming out this summer and she'll tell Bonnie all about it!
Mail from You Guys: Bonnie looks back at all the letters she has received from you guys... and shares her top favorites! |

Dear Bonnie and crew
The show today was so Funny!!! Thank you for the birdhouse update...I was laughing so hard my side hurt and I had tears in my eyes! That just made my day....watching your show never fails to cheer me up and just make my life better by all the love and laughter and joy you and your entire crew share with us the viewers. Keep up the good work. I was wondering who played your mom in the birdhouse ....I think it was Holly but I am not sure. Can't wait till you guys hatch that little egg you have in the oven! Hope you keep going with this birdhouse skit..its just too funny to stop.
Love you all
Janina
LIKED THE SHOW TODAY! YOU'VE UPGRADED SOME THINGS LIKE THE BAND OUTFITS. YOU LOOKED BETTER, TOO.
DON WOULD ALSO LOOK GOOD WITH A PRESSED SHIRT AND JACKET. HE'LL LOOK GOOD AS HE'S ALWAYS CHEERFUL AND ENCOURAGING TO YOU.
LOVE WHEN YOUR MOM IS ON. I'M POLISH AND SHE REMINDS ME OF MY MOM IN ILLINOIS SUBURBS. SHE NEEDS LONGER SEGMENTS, FOR SURE...
Wow, Bon, You look so much more youthful with the dark glaases on. They could become your signature!
The way you dressed the band made it look like a different show. Like they weren't practicing but ready for the show! Positive change.
Also, liked the bird skit. It added life to the show. Sort of like skits Jay Leno does on his show which are really funny.
Don't be stressed or nervous as you made positive changes on Thursday's show. Be proud!

To Faye Colombe:
Bonnie does offer us viewers a chance to win prizes. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, there is a box called Saw It? Want It? Win It! where you can enter to win alot of the stuff you see on the show.
Hope that helps!
Why isn't Bonnie up for the Daytime Emmys?
She surely deserves the prize!
Hopefully next year....keep up the delightful, heartfelt work!
Can't wait to come home from work and watch your show first thing - to laugh!! I never thought this would start bugging me - but it is the black pantsuits, and Nick will have either purple, gold, or red same style shirt almost every day. Bonnie you are too pretty to wear that black all the time. Love your whole crew, its a great show. Please concider wearing some color.

Your shows are always GREAT. When are you going to give away some of your daily prizes?????
Loved the bird house segmant. Didn't think you could top yourself....but you did!!!
My Niece and I where very glad that we had a bathroom close by because we laughed till we almost wet are pants!! You could make a sitcome of the bird house feature alone!
In these down days of economy and unsure of what the future will bring; laughter is the best medicine and it is found on the Bonnie Hunt Show.
We thank you for sharing your stories. I am from a Catholic family of 11 and can relate to all of your memories you share.
Keep up the great work. love you and your whole staff.

Hi Bonnie,
Remember when you got caught by your parents, doing something you weren't supposed to be doing and you couldn't figure out how they knew. They would respond with "....a little bird told me"? Well yesterday a little bird told me about my mammogram! I was 2 months overdue and quickly ran to the phone and scheduled my appointment! Not only are Mr. and Mrs. Bird hysterical, but they provide a public service. Thanks a bunch!!!

I was at this taping and witnessed Bonnie laughing at herself in the birdhouse skit. She was laughing so hard, we were laughing at the skit and at Bonnie watching the skit. I had tears in my eyes.
In a surreal moment they showed the clip of Bonnie falling down the stairs. I was at the taping of this as well and was sitting in almost the same seat.
Bonnie - hilarious as ever! I've been to a few tapings of the show and I've never been disappointed. Even if the guests aren't people I'm a fan of, Bonnie conducts interesting interviews and brings a new light to things. A true talent.
Hello Bonny,
I have watched your show as much as I can.
I like how the show causes us to reflect.
I also enjoy your persona you project on the tube.
I find that your qualities all blend into the humanist way of thought.
I picture the scene as one where you would help in stirring the pot of thoughts as; everyone knows everyone.
If I may suggest; that you have more character actors on, so that we all can see; them out of the western and adventure/drama
roles they have been in.
Is paladin still around?
I like the off beat!
Peace, Marv
Thanks goodness Bonnie is taking the summer off. We won't have to hear about "The Bachelorette" any longer. Feh.
The bird sketch was great! Hope we get to see the trainer before summer vacation.
I loved you show today, but the black clothing is getting a little tedious. They do make ladies suits in all different colors- especially in the spring.
I love your show Bonnie and you are very pretty.
I think it might be time to change the shows introduction as I feel it is a bit dated now and you are a huge success that needs to make some changes. Not you because I have that secret crush....OMG
Bonnie, it isn't really scratching your head. It is from another era of when we grew up. We were always fluffing the hair do out to make sure it didn't get matted down. I used to do it all the time too when I had longer hair.
Funny but true story. My great aunt Tiny used to take her finger and sit and twirl that finger around and around at the edge of her hair line on the side of her head.
So when some one pointed out to me that it looked like I was scratching my head all the time, the hair got cut because as much as I loved my Aunt Tiny that finger twirling hair drove me nuts.
Love your show....keep up the great work.

Ohhhhhh, the bird skit is sooo funny!!!!
LOVED THE BIRD SKIT AND THE RECAPS! ANYTHING FOR A LAUGH!
THANKS!
The bird skit was beyond funny!! I was alone watching it and laughing out loud. My next door neighbor thought I had company. The show comes on again in a while and I have to tape it to show my husband. It's just too good to miss. Thanks.
Oops! Regarding that "Courtroom Word of the Day" ... I meant to say the blunder was used on May 19 ... on the Dr. Phil show! ;-)
