Could you please tell me what kind of dog that was on the April 15th show?
It belongs to one of the staff members.
Hi Bonnie. I work during the week and record your show to watch when I get home. I was delighted to see Dennis DeYoung on your show! I grew up on the southwest side of Chicago and he was my 7th grade music teacher!! I'll never forget how awesome he was...even then. Thanks for having him on your show. Love you Bonnie! Donna Kimeck
to Lindsay... One piece that Cloris played was part of the classic music "Clair de Lune" -- if that's the one you mean. It's a really beautiful, moving piece...
Hi Bonnie,
I enjoyed today's show. Seeing your stage manager in his bunny ensemble reminded me of when I wore a bunny head. I attended UW-Oshkosh (Wisconsin) in the 70's. The theater dept. put on the musical "Celebration", a lesser known works by the same playwright who wrote "The Fantastic".
"Celebration" was referred to as experimental theater. In other words it wasn't no "Sound of Music". "Celebration" was performed by a small ensemble of actors in a small intimate theater.
In those days I was 5'7" tall and on a good day weighed 100 pounds if you caught me right after lunch. I did not have a chest or very many curves.
The wardrobe mistress was a stripper working her way through college. She used what was familiar as her inspiration. In one scene 4 women had to hop out with bunny heads on and wearing bikinis.
Opening night my boyfriend and many of the guys from his dorm came to see me and see me they did, up close and personal.
I hopped out in a bikini and bunny head and began to dance. I did my turn and out stretched my arms and my little top went right with it, right up to my chin, as there wasn't much to hold it in place.
Needless to say, my outstretched arms came down but being a professional stayed in character and hopped off. My boyfriend's pals were very shall we say "supportive". If I wasn't one of the guys before, I was after that.
What can you do but laugh.
Watching your April 14th show, I saw where Johnathon Hillstrand is going to be your April 15 guest. I love the show Deadliest Catch & from day one he's been my favorite captain. He's handsome, funny & tough and I love his laugh. I was wondering if you could have him say Hi & blow a kiss to his biggest fan: Barb Williamson in Blanford, IN. Maybe he could send me a Harley shirt. Thanks Bonnie. I love your show too. You're hysterical. Keep up the funny stuff. Here's my address: Barb Williamson, P.O. Box 175, Blanford, IN. 47831
Does anyone know what song Cloris began playing while Bonnie was reading from the book? I've heard it before and just love it!
Another good show.
I wonder why Bonnie doesn't stand up with the band and sing for real.
I was shocked and delighted to hear her sing. She has a great voice.
She should make it a once a week part of her show and use that wonderful voice.
I don't care for her clowning around singing. It gets old fast
I liked the show, but I know how much bonnie likes videos. She should go to youtube and find the song by Susan Boyle on Britian's Got Talent. She will amaze you. She amazed the audience and the judges. Check it out.
Dear Bonnie,
I just love your show,it is so comforting and it is like having a family to me.I am a single Mom with a special needs son,and if I am unable to watch you I always tape it.Your Mom is just so darn cool I love her to pieces. You are fantastic. You are like a sister that I never had thanks Bonnie keep up the great work,I hope that you are on forever from Lesley.
The show was good today. I enjoyed Dennis DeYoung
singing the oldies, but that da da da da da stuff leaves a lot to be desired. I don't watch too much because of that. It stinks.
Dear Bonnie: Wish I could see more of your beautiful blouse. I love it. Where did you get it and do they make it in plus sizes? When I was young I always dreamed of a monochromatic wedding and that is what your blouse reminded me of. Only my color was going to be yellow. Love your show - always good for a lot of laughs.
Doris
Missed your show today, heard it was great. Would like to see a picture on web of the sheep made from paper towels and toilet paper, heard it was really cute. thanks
Great Show. Loved Dennis Delong.......I am a Chicagoan.........Love My City. Your Mom is Super its so nice to hear from a SENIOR. Are you every going to tape your Show in Chicago? Thanks for a refreshing and fun Show. Marilyn
FANTASTIC SHOW! I think it's my favorite one yet! Cloris is always a sure hilarious bet; loved Johnny and Bonnie singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game"; and as a long-time Styx fan, Dennis DeYoung singing gave me chills. (as well as the band) But none of it would be as good without Bonnie! Bonnie - you are the BEST.
I just have a few things to say about your show. First, I have to say that your mom is one of the most endearing women I have ever seen on television. Unfortunately, I, like so many others, is a single parent of 2 beautiful children who is desperately seeking employment. In the interim, I got to see the ending of today's show. Dennis DeYoung of STYX was such a pleasure to see. I, like you have so many memories of every song he has written. If there is any way I could get a copy of his new c.d. I would be forever grateful.Like I said earlier, being layed off for several months and can barely afford groceries. It would really mean a lot to me. I really do love your show and please send your regards to your mom. You are first and foremost the best talk show host on television. I find myself smiling the entire episode. Thank you for the laughs. It really lifts your spirits regardless of the present situation.
BONNIE: LOVE WATCHING EVERY SHOW SO FAR...GOT A QUESTION....AM I SEEING DON ON THE COMMERCIAL WITH JULIE LUIS DRYFUS ??? HE IS A KEEPER!
RAE
Really enjoyed the Teen Creed and would love to have a copy e-mailed to me! I really enjoy the show!
I watch your show everyday. I loved seeing Dennis DeYoung and hearing some oldies. I just wish that segment could have been longer. I also love when your mom is on. She's just great. I love to hear her words of wisdom. I was close with my mom too. I just lost her a few years ago just before Easter and really miss her but hearing the things that your mom has done reminds me so much of her. Thank You very much cause those were days I would never change. Your show is sooooooo great. Don't ever change. I love your sincere honesty. You bring a smile to my face everyday which is what everyone needs in these hard days. I to would love to share with my granddaughters, the creed that you recited on Mondays show that your Mom had written.
Ditto to all the above. Hey Bonnie, how are the upsidedown tomatoes doing?
Bonnie, We love your show. Today you had the most adorible puppy on. I fell in love with him. Can you please let me know what type of dog he is? I would love to get my daughter one. Thanks and keep up the good work!! You are so funny!!!!
