SHOW RECAP
Bonnie is pleased to welcome Bill Pullman to the show. He's been in so many great films from 'Ruthless People,' 'Accidental Tourist' and most recently his newest, 'Nobel Son' which played to sold-out screenings at the Tribeca Film Festival. The film is so good it got picked up and will be opening in theaters this month and Bill's going to tell us more about it. Remember all those wacky characters Nicole Sullivan played on 'MADtv' like the Vancome Lady? She's so funny and will have us all in stitches when she's here talking about her new Lifetime show, 'Rita Rocks.' You all know it's Bonnie's favorite reality and she's got the most recently eliminated couple from 'The Amazing Race' here. And he recently won the National Mango Board's recipe contest, Dean Sturt, a ten-year-old chef will be showing his recipe for Mangolicious Flip Flop cake.

Ingredients
4 mangos, peeled, pitted and sliced; divided

1/2 stick butter, melted

2/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour

1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 stick butter, softened

2/3 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °F.

Butter a 9" x 2" round cake pan. Pat the slices of mango dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, stir together the butter and the brown sugar. Spread evenly in the 9" x 2" pan. Arrange the mango pieces from two mangos to your liking on the sugar mixture, reserving the rest for mango puree. Set aside.

Into a bowl sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. In another bowl with an electric mixer, cream the butter and the sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the vanilla.

In a food processor, puree remaining mangos to make ¾ cup. Add the flour mixture alternately in batches with the pureed mangos, beginning and ending with the flour mixture and beating well after each addition. Pour the batter into the pan, spreading it evenly, and bake the cake in the middle of the oven for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan on a rack for 15 minutes, run a thin knife around the edge and invert onto a platter.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 45 to 55 minutes

I love your show. I love the blouses and sweaters you wear. Would love to know where you shop. I just started watching... I'm out on disability (I had both feet operated on) and when I have to go back to work, I will be taping all of your shows so I don't miss a one.

I love that you grew up in Chicago. You bring back so many great memories of my childhood. Believe it or not, I STILL have my Cuddly Duddly. My Dad bought him for me when I was really little. Not sure if it was a promo deal for the Tribune but he got it for me when he worked there as a carpenter in the 60's. He worked on the exterior walls too.
Right now, I'm recuperating from extensive knee surgery - thanks for brightening my day.

I have been watching since the beginning and I was a little upset when you went to reruns. It was never mentioned that you would be on a holiday trip home. I was so worried that you had been canceled. So, imagine my delight when I turned it on today. Wow, silly me, I thought that you would do future shows ahead, to put into your "vault" for upcoming dates like other shows do. I'll have to follow more closely so it won't happen again. I loved your interview with Trace Adkins. You were both so flirty back and forth, it was fun to watch. Love the show.
Keep it up.
Love from Kansas, (but I'm oiginally from upstate N.Y.)
Sandy

hi bonnie,CBS needs to run ads for your show,i forget you're on tv.when i accidentally turn you on,i love it.your midwest accent reminds me of my roots.watching you is like visiting with your favorite relative, who always makes you feel welcome & gives the greatest gifts---laughter! "rag" CBS will ya??!

Bonnie, I had never watched your show until I was laid off recently, & you have been the silver lining in my dark cloud. While I job hunt & pray, it is so great to see the wonderful, ordinary people you have on -- Your 10 year old chef today reminded me so much of when my son was little! Thank you for brightening up my day!
Cathy McCann

I love your show! I also love the pink KitchenAid mixer you were using today. You should give it to me. I have always wanted one. And pink is my favorite color. Great show by the way.

Great show today. You make my day. You always have such nice guest and interact with everyone of them very well. Thanks alot.

I'm an Archuleta fan who caught your show for the first time when he was on, Bonnie, but I am now TIVOing the show and watching when I can. I caught the show with George Lopez. He was hiliarious - love the bit about the doggie wedding, and your intro., where you called your mother's old boyfriend. You are funny and genuine, and I am a big fan. Thank you.

My schedule has changed and I have been able to see your show in the morning. Just wanted to thank you for a great start to my day....very few shows make me laugh out loud!!

i am just a ordinary and common person but i love your show. i am depressed alot but your show makes me laugh and you feel like family to me. i know this will be mixed with the fest of the fans but i just wanted to tell BONNIE HUNT SHE IS WONDERFUL AND SHE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN MAKE ME LAUGH.ILOVE HER

KATHY JOHNSON

As living on the other side of the lake,in Michigan I appreciate you being down to earth. I can relate to your childhood.
On todays show you talked about Cudley Dudley. I immediately went and found a picture of my daughter with her Cudley and his super jet. Talk about memories!!

I enjoyed the cooking segment today! And i thought it was great when you gave him the WII game system! Also, i am a stay-at-home mom of an 8-month-old son, and I always look forward to your show in the morning. It's a "pick-me-up" for me, and he usually goes down for a nap during the show, too, so i get to relax a little and watch and laugh! A nice break. Thanks!

Men do watch the show, this one loves it. Bonnie is the bomb. Little Dean sturt was priceless. Keep it up Bonnie you have it going on...

Wasn't yesterday a re-run? Thought I was going nuts. Thanks for your great show. It is the best. You are so kind, cute and entertaining.

I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT I JUST LOVE YOUR LITTLE GUEST TODAY,, DEAN THE BAKER :) HE WAS JUST SO SWEET AND ACTED MATURE FOR HIS AGE. I COULD JUST SQUEEZE HIS CHEEKS. LOVELY TOUCH GIVING HIM THE WII AND GAME. I AM HAPPY HE DIDN'T GO INTO WHAT HIS DAD DOES WHEN ANGRY LOL WELL ONE OF THE 12 THINGS HE DOES HEHE. KIDS SAY THE DARNDEST THINGS TOO CUTE!!

Bonnie, you are great and avery funny person also you seem too have a very serious side which great also enjoy your show keep up the wonderful work happy holidays, Joan.

I like your show because you seem naturally sincere.
You should live here in our town, Niceville.

Bonie,

I loved your story about Cudley Dudley! I am a Chicago girl and loved Cudley Dudley and had one as a kid. A Christmas tradition was to always give up our favorite toy to "one of the poor kids", which we were so I could never figure out why we didn't get gifts. Anyway, I gave up Cudley, so sad for me. I spent years of my adult life searching antique shops for Cudley but could't find him. About 10 years ago for Christmas, my Mom and Dad found him and gave him to me for Christmas. There is embarrassing video of me crying when I opened him. He now sits in my home office and I will never give him up again :0).

Merry Christmas, I love your show,
Gina

Hi Bonnie, I loved your show today,as always. I enjoyed the character Nicole Sullivan played on The King of Queens and I am so glad to see her in a show of her own. She's a very funny lady.
I was very impressed by Bill Pulman. Much like you, he appears to be very down-to-earth and sincere (something we see very little of on TV anymore).
Now,for the "star of the show",so to speak, Dean Sturt. He was a joy to watch, such a polite, respectful young man and funny too.I was so excited to see him get a WII from you. Young people like him deserve "little rewards" now and then.
Toni and Dallas were such a refreshing pair. With their outlook on life and each other, I would say they have already won "Life's Amazing Race" Good for them.
Thank you for such an entertaining show, I love it and record you every day so I can show it to my husband and daughter.
Always Watching,
Angie Byerly

Ms. Hunt,

It's a pleasure to see you stroll onto your set. And your set looks fantastic. I, by choice, stop painting in my studio to peep your program. And, it is noticable that you're a woman (girl). Plus, I was amused that you did a revamp of Grant Wood's 'American Gothic'. I have a framed print of it in my mickey mouse. It's the only "realitic" painting hanging up in my environment.

Well, the commercial's over, so I'm off to enjoy the rest of the show.

Stay Beautiful,
Khambrel Green
