LIMIT 1 MY BUTT!!! Like many, I too was upset when my "Buy It Now" failed!I understand that not everyone can get one--but when you only offer 60 per time slot for a national tv show it's not surprising why many of us are upset! But makes me mad is that you say limit one--but if you go back through the bid history-you will find that someone bought 3!!

I still love Bonnie but I suggest you look into the problem!

Hi I Just Also Wanted to Write and Say My Computer Says There are Still More Coffee Makers and Its 3:23 pm and I Keep Clicking On Everything Im SUpposed to and When I Hit Buy It Now It Goes to The Ebay Page and Says 0 Items found in Bonnies Give and Get, Someone Please Help ??? What Am I Doing Wrong ?

I love your show ~ I look forward to it every day!!! My husband works 3rd shift, so he can only watch it on Fridays with me, but I tell him about it when he gets up. I tried to purchase items from the Give and Get, I go on at 3pm and all the items have been sold ( with 0 found ). I wonder how many items are they giving away?

I'm glad that your feeling better, you look better today than you did yesterday ( you REALLY looked sick ). I love dogs too, we have a golden retriever (1yr) and a miniature schnauzer (5yrs). They are like my little babies!!

Here's a thought about the Give and Get--I work for a local non-profit organization that provides free support services and programs for people with cancer in the Baton Rouge, LA area and the 10 parishes (counties) surrounding us. We use a site called Auction Pay to collect donations and sell sponsorships, products, etc. for fundraising. I'm sure you have a promotional contract with Ebay, but since their system isn't working, it seems that your charity isn't going to make quite as much money as they could. :( It's such a great cause, too! I think you should do the Give and Get from your own website instead of using an outside source as complicated/difficult as Ebay can be. Just a thought.:) I also think you should post an easy link to give to your charity on the homepage of your site...just incase people have trouble accessing the Give and Get. I think it would help if there was still an easy option for "giving"...

First, I hope you feel better soon. Secondly, I want to thank you for doing the auction. I had the same problem as another woman, clicked it entered to ebay, then paypal and they said sorry!!! I was a;ready there. I was dissapointed as I have been wanting to get my husband a good expresso cuppaccino maker, but they are soo expensive. He had one from Italy, years ago, but it was lost in a move by the movers. I will try again at 6 est. I know it is not your fault things are not the same as usual when purchasing and thanks again for giving me the oportunity to get it and support cancer. My mother had Breast cancer and my father died from Brain cancer.

If there is a limit of one item then how are people getting away with purchasing 2 or 3 of them? If you go into ebay under ended auctions and click on purchases you will see people who ordered more than one which is not fair to people who are also trying to buy one.
I hope someone at ebay or the Bonnie Hunt show will cancel their purchase.
Not fair at all to the honest people who are trying so hard to bid.

There are three things I would like to say. Please note: I never write in to fans or shows etc, but I was so moved out of great respect, disappointment, and a wow factor:
1)My great respect is for you and your decision to do the give and get. I think it is an ingenious idea and that the cause could not be better.
2)Disappointment in the fact that people are getting so angry about not getting the great "bang" for the buck, and not considering the generosity of the companies for donating gifts, that are quite "high-end".
3)The "wow" factor is the fact that you so kindly responded to the ladies letter, even though hers was rude. Respect goes far in this world, and although it may not be worth much, you have mine.

This Give and Get thing is not working. I followed the links to try and buy it and NOTHING! It showed an ebay page with nothing listed. Is this due to overwhelming log ins? Gee, would love to have had the Gusto for $10. Oh, well, I guess I'll have to continue using my purcalator.

Bonnie,Bonnie...What a wonderful idea for a give away. It's too bad you couldn't have put a simple enter credit card number expiration date and that is the end - or give people the ability to enter their payment first then purchase the gift.

I too tried but my computer almost blew up. It was frozen for 15 minutes. Needless to say I lost out. With the economy so awful, imagine all the people who wanted to receive this gift. Also I would have wanted to give more than $10.00. Savy computer hacks can get into thesse races but us old Grand-Ma's of 67 with arthritis in our hands don't stand a chance.

Oh Bonnie, I could just cry! I waited until 2 o'clock my time to bid on todays 10 dollar deal. I waited with my finger on my laptop for 10 minutes just waiting for the time to change and then I did it! I actually had the item, yes I did! It said 160 available for like a split second! Then the worst thing happened! Ebay rerouted me to open an account and I filled out all the information, then they direct you to check your email for a confirmation code and on and on and on. Finally finished all that business and went back to my purchase and it was gone with no more available! UGH! You probably should tell people to open an Ebay account and log in before trying to purchase the item of the day. It will save them a lot of grief! I just wanted to let you know so others won't maybe have the same problem. I love your show, by the way! It has really grown on me and I look forward to it everyday! Thanks so much for your time and have a great Holiday! :D

I watched today's show and understood the woman's frustration about the Give and Get. I tried at 3:00, the item WAS available when I clicked it, but the e-bay sight said there were no items available.
I followed all the directions, but it just didn't work. I don't care that much, I was just trying it out and was going to give it to my son and am happy to give a donation. However, it just didn't seem to work for me.
It's a great idea, but frustrating.

went in today-exactly at 3 PM. A few seconds later (like 3:00:15) opened and found item; went to buy it now-and wanted confirmation of my paypal account which I did. Followed the link back to the item today (coffee maker) and item was no longer available! In less than a minute!! That was east coast time

I just tried for the Coffee Maker at 3:00, I was on ebay, was able to click on the auction, put it in my cart, buy it, go to paypal, go through to paypal and enter my password, and then right before I was to finish the transaction, I received a message that there weren't enough products..I've been on ebay for over 10 years...This has NEVER happened to me before, if the items weren't available,I should NOT have been able to click BUY IT NOW , AND go through the entire process of going through paypal..I'm rather upset because I typed in my password...If I didn't know anybetter, I would think this was a scam...Of course, it is the Bonnie Hunt show on National Television, but I'm sorry, something is not right! I should NOT have been able to go through all of the steps if the items were gone...I did all of this within 1 minute...I did not procrastinate...I have a FAST laptop...there was simply no reason for this...I don't like this contest...just my opinion. I know that you don't have any control over this Contest Bonnie, but you really should have someone look into this.

I just tried to purchase the Nescafe Dolce Gusto on Ebay and I was in the final steps of the payment process and the item was removed from my cart. That doesn't seem fair, that is like someone stealing a hard to find item from your cart at the store. I really don't think Ms. Hunt would like a charity auction to operate in this manner. Someone should bring this to her attention. I don't know if this is an Ebay matter or whomever is handling this auction. Just wanted to bring it to your attention.

Same here as the rest. Can't get through Paypal checkout before it is sold out. They need to do this so that once you click on the "buy it now"..it is yours.

HERE IS A SUGGESTION FROM ONE WHO DOES A LOT OF SELLING ON EBAY ( as in over 10,000 transactions) TURN OFF THE FUNCTION THAT REQUIRES THE BUYER TO IMMEDIATELY PAY FOR IT.

THIS HOPEFULLY WILL SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
