I feel so badly for your cough. I have a recipe. Peel a large chunk of fresh ginger and cut up. Put in a saucepan with water and bring to hard boil. Cover, simmer for two hours. Put into a nice cozy mug, add juice of a fresh lemon and a spoonful of raw honey. Ginger feels so good, circulates "stuff", honey great for cough, lemon has vit C..good for throat! Feel better!

Great show today as always. One comment. I have seen nativity display's in several states over the past 50 years and all of them had the baby jesus in the cradle way before Christmas.

I was the caption winner yesterday, and I just wanted to thank you for choosing mine as a finalist. I actually liked the "trap door" one.

I also wanted to comment that I enjoy your nostalgia about your Christmases past. We had the same tradition in our house not to put the Baby Jesus in the creche until Christmas Eve. My mother also did not include the Three Wise Men at the creche, but instead moved them around the room every day recreating their following the star to the stable and did not show up at the creche until the Feast of the Epiphany. We also never took down our tree until after Epiphany and I still don't. Don't worry so much about the Baby Jesus. The Catholic Churches even vary on this. Some did not decorate the church with the creche until after the last Sunday of Advent, but now a lot of them decorate the church early and have the Baby Jesus AND the Three Kings before the actual day.

Bonnie, I couldn't believe when I heard people were upset with you. DON'T LISTEN TO THEM! I thought the Give and Get was such an awesome idea. These people who are complaining ought to be glad they have the $10 to be able to TRY for the items. I don't even have $1.00 to put towards rent this month, so if you have an apt available as the next give and get, I'll borrow the money and try myself!! You could not have explained it any better. Good luck with the show, I'm glad you decided to go the 'talk show' route to share your talents, your movies are too few and far between. Happy Holidays to you and your staff-you are all great!!

P.S. give Charlie a big hug for me, he is a cutie!! when I had my petsitting business I brought my dog to work with me too. I miss not having him with me. I have returned to school and I can't have him with me.

Bonnie, your give and gift site is set up very well. People, the auctions are offered at three different times during the day. 11 am, 3pm, and 6pm eastern. I got on the site. Very easy to use. Didn't end up getting the item...but knew it would be difficult. I'm excited that it's getting so much attention. With items offered at such extreme savings, did you really think they wouldn't sell out in seconds? Half the fun is the rush you get just trying to see if you can get it! You are no worse off not getting it than you were before. It's not as though you have lost anything...you just didn't win the lottery. Just be glad that so many people are donating to the cause.

Bonnie I love your show and DVR it just in case I'm not home for some reason.
I was a little disappointed today though during the segment with Tony Danza. Today has changed my mind about him. I was VERY VERY disappointed when he said that he bought his daughter a car and he bought a foreign one because she didn't want an American made car. If I was buying a car for my child they would be receiving an American made car or no car!!!!

bonnie I have to tell you I dont really watch talk shows . But you are so down to earth and funny . And now days that is good for the sole .It was really cool to hear tony sing. You are great keep up the good work . Oh you mom is to funny .

Bonnie, Loved the discussion about your '75 Ford Granada. My first car was also a Granada, maybe a '77. The funniest/scariest day of my life was when my Granada caught on fire as I was driving home from school and my mom and I had to put it out! We went to open the hood where the smoke was coming from and flames shot out. Slam! Mom screams at me to go call the volunteer fire dept. from our tiny town. Before they get there we've managed to get the fire out with the garden hose, more screaming/laughter. But then the car starts making a loud noise like it was running fast"uh-uh-uh"... More screaming! The fireman cut the battery cable and all was quiet. Phew! What memories. Love your show.

She said LIMITED QUATITIES so she doesn't have thousands to giveaway so yes it is possible for them to sell out quickly. This is the holidays and everyone should be up beat and cheery. Bonnie airs in my area at 10 AM but, stuff doesn't go on till 11 so of course there are going to be people waiting to get the items. Once again Bonnie is doing this as a good thing for helping viewers and a good charity. GET OFF HER BACK!!!! She is the sweetest and hopefully Bonnie your show will go on for many many many many many many many years.

I love your show..but I have to run out now and have no time to watch the rest of the show... so I don't know if you thought about this...I always cover Baby Jesus..with a black cloth,hay or something..till Christmas... then uncover..no need to displace him.

Yesterday I did went into the Bonnie Give and Get, and was a winner, until I tried to put in my paypal information to pay for the item, for some reason it wouldn't let me fill it out, I was very upset that it then said that it was no longer available, and sold out. Usually when you win an item you are able to go back in an pay for it.
