Hey Bonnie, I know you got a lot of flack about your give and get promotion. But I have to tell you I went on the site at each time slot and would click to buy it would redirect me to the ebay site and then say nothing available to buy. Each time I would go back to the site it would say item was still available. Tell me did I do something wrong is there a bug on the website what? Don't understand what I'm suppose to do, please please please let me know. I'm soooooooooo dissapointed.

I almost got the 6pm EST offering --- the screen went to confirm the bid and by the time the computer "thought" they were all gone...the round closed in 15 seconds according to the EBAY notation...oh well!

What I suggest, though, is to see if EBAY could put a screen to allow for a "donation anyway" for your cause.

I would have been happy to give the ten (or even more) dollars without getting the prize!!!

Once we're in the EBAY neighborhood, it would be so easy to give even without getting!

another great show. Your show is a highlight of my day. Thank you to all who make it happen. Boy, I was really surprised at all the rude and negative comments some viewers made regarding the ebay opportunity. Yes, I feel disappointed, and a bit frustrated, but not at you, or the show. I logged in at the pacific coast time. Today, I was a little more prepared, but by the time I got through at 15:00:12 PST - Sold out. I did do a little checking under sale history, hoping I might see my account name there, sadly no luck...BUT, fifth from the bottom of the list there is "a****e" with a lavender star at 15:00:12 PST also who PURCHASED FIVE! That person was only supposed to purchase one. I am upset at that person who may have excluded me who was logged in at the same time along with possibly 3 others who missed out. Now if ebay could look into that sale and make some adjustments, maybe cancel that persons sale to one and let four others, (like me - hee hee hee), purchase one. In closing, thanks for the opportunity, today I was almost a winner, and maybe tomorrow will be my lucky day. PS Alice is so charming, I love her input on the show.

I feel so bad for you hon, people seems to be getting sooo angry over such material things! I too tried to log in for your one cup coffee maker and I was sitting there ready to go at exactly 4:59 because in my area the $10.00 deal ebay deal starts exactly at 3:00. I just had to giggle about it all because I thought I'm sitting at the computer like some hawk waiting to pounce on it's prey.. LoL I nervously awaited that one minute to pass so I could catch this deal as if it were some magic cafeine sourse and I could never have a good cup o' joe again unless I had it! Teehee.
That isn't to say I don't understand everyones irritation, we all love a good deal. I found myself wondering if the thought of the "give" side of things were just as imortant as the "get". At least for myself anyway. I'm no goodie two shoes by any means, I had my own irritations by trying to enter the drawing for your mechanical dinosaur and after filling out the form I was taken to a broken link.... sigh. I simply closed out of my computer and figured I was trying to do this during a busy traffic time and I'll just try later. 3:00am sounds like a good bet! LoL Just kidding... if high traffic is the problem then I'm proud your show has become so popular, I forgot what a natural comedian you are! I'm embarrassed to say that I just now went out and purchased the movie "Cheaper By The Dozen" and I don't know why I waited so long... Wow, was that hilarious! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyway, thanks for such a fun show. :-)

It was sad to see you all over the place in the show today trying to answer to everyone. You have a great show going. You're there and we're here because, well, it's your show. So, for the people who didn't like Baby Jesus in the manger before the 25th. Great for them in their home but that's like saying my family can't put a picture of me up from when I was born before my birthday! Hello, he's already born. This is a celebration of his birth, not an anticipation of it. I put birth pictures and party pictures of my daughter up before her birthday to remember and celebrate every year all over again. Isn't that what we are doing. Who wants to have a party for someone who's not in attendance? There's no fun in that! So I just think you should try to remember the Bonnie Hunt Show is about Bonnie Hunt and if she puts a baby Jesus in the manger ahead of the 25th then thats fine. It was way worse watching you decimate the manger sceene for crying in the rain! When your audience member has their own show they can leave him out of the party until the day of. I to tried the give and get today at 3:00 and at 6:00 and was on a half hour before the item was posted and clicked and clicked until the item came up at the times that you had listed. It took me 1 second if that to hit the button and the item was all gone within less than a second. I'm not sure how they are doing it so quickly, but I realize I will never get my donation to you by trying to win one of the auctions lol.

I lost my mom when she was 52 from cancer so I have always thought that cancer research is very important. I really don't need to get to want to give and donate to such a worthy cause. So if you could take just a moment to just let me know where I can send the donation to I surely would appreciate it.

It will save me the time and the frustration of sitting in front of this computer trying to win one of the items. I am an avid Ebayer and I don't understand how they are buying them all within less than 1 second????? But they are.......

By the way, I watch your show every day and enjoy it tremendously!!

Love the show!! Don was hilarious in his French "thief" costume! Having trouble trying to win the give a gift get a gift contest..tried at both 3 and 6 PM EST.. I also enjoyed Charlie trying to play with his stuffed toy which he thought was Mel Love to have a Bonnie Land's End fleece? Is there anyway that the 'give and get' prizes for the audience members be used for ebay instead?
There are way too few items and people are getting frustrated. They are all gone in 40 seconds. If you are going to do this 'give and get'....please get more items. How many viewers do you have anyway???
Also, as it is for Cancer charity, raise the price to $25.

GIVE AND GET was a FUN way for Bonnie Hunt show to:

(1) raise money for charity
(2) give back to the HOME viewers (not just studio audience).

I ALMOST got it (coffee maker), but I was little bit too slow. So it was FUN for me, even if I didn't win the ebay bid.

If everybody complains too much, Bonnie Hunt show won't even do at all! So HAVE FUN playing the "game". And like any game there's only few winners. But do it just for the fun and everybody walks away winner.

I have read all the comments and I think we are all frustrated and just want to vent some but you know we will all keep trying. We all love the show or would not even know about this contest/contribution.
Jennifer's comment, I really think that you are very out of line as to people just wanting something for nothing. I give hundred of dollars for different organizations that I love every year. I dont sit on my butt at home all day waiting for something free. I work very hard for what I have. I take offense to your comments of the watchers. I think you were very out of line.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe all the people complaining! I tried like everyone else today to get the coffeemaker and it was indeed frustrating but I wouldn't dream of writing a letter of complaint! It certainly isn't Bonnie's fault. Anyway, persistance does pay off because I got one at 6:00! 6:00 and 10 seconds to be exact. Just have to keep trying. It is possible!

I was coming on here to say THANK YOU Bonnie! I wanted one of these coffeemakers so bad, but it is way out of my budget, so to be able to get it for $10.00 (and help a worthy cause), well that is truly a blessing! Thank you again!

My husband and I truly love you and your show. You and your staff all seem so genuine, caring and naturally funny. Thank you for being there every day. I was so excited to try to get the coffee maker for my daughter and her husband for Christmas as I have been looking for work since March and have only one unemployment check left and have no money, plus the opportunity to help others, however, after spending the whole day attending to my computer and E-bay there was never a time when the item was not listed as 0. Something must not be working correctly...I know it is out of your control and everyone is contacting your about it and my letter is just one more you probably don't want to see...but you seem like you would want to know about something on your show that seems to be broken. Love you anyway, you make my happy especially when I am so discouraged about finding work and worried about loosing my house. My husband can't work due to heart disease and things are dire, but I know we have it so much better than some folks.

First time viewer, Enjoyed the show. went to ebay and was one of the 80 to buy now/donate the give and Get Coffee machine, however the buy now thru paypal errored and message said try again. Of course the item was gone by the time I went back....Kinda bummed!

Is there some thing I'm missing? I was signed in with ebay, pointing at the item, 6 pm on the dot, I click and Bonnie's give a gift is gone. Who has the secret? Share please!!!!!

You are right, it's a great charity drive, but this drive is driving me crazy and baby it's a short ride. ha ha

Perhaps Nescafe would consider donating more coffee pots..
I bid..then it was gone...
Another thought..why not just give an address to send our donations...and forget about the Elmos and coffeepots....
