Bonnie,
Thanks so much for having Mike Birbiglia on your show. He is truly a very gifted and hilarious young man and your chemistry together was right on. WOw what a way to deal with a medical disorder; write a play about it. Please, please have him back as soon as you can, although I hope he's really busy with his show in New York. He is truly a delight and a breath of fresh air. Odd that I just discovered him about 3 weeks ago on Comedy Central and I've watched his show over and over and refuse to delete it from my TiVo.
Thanks again for an all-round great show.
A huge fan in Nashville

Hi Bonnie,
Sleepwalking is a very REAL 'disorder',
for want of a better word. Sleepwalkers
are COMPLETELY unaware of everything that
they are doing while sleepwalking and can become
violent for no reason whatsoever.
scary, huh..............do you by any chance
remember a homicide case, where the person
killed someone claimed a 'sleepwalking'
defense.......I dont think the jury bought it,
too bad too......
Bonnie-
Love your show! I just have to say how absolutely disgusted I am with the Vegas-Pup-In-The-Purse woman! She should be ashamed of herself, not to mention REPORTED to a local animal welfare officer. And especially a 9 WEEK OLD PUPPY! It makes me physically sick to my stomach! I am so proud of you for publicly outing this woman, by name, and I hope EVERYONE who knows this woman gets on her case about the mistreatment of her pet. My dog, Coco, is half cavalier and I LOVE her with all of my heart. I take her with me regularly to places where it is APROPRIATE, and leave her at home when it is not. I didn't pay near as much as that nut job did for my dog, but Coco's treated like a million bucks. Owning a dog is a lot of work, and for those who are not ready for that commitment, might I suggest that you DON"T GET A DOG! That's why there are so many innocent dogs who need rescuing, which I love that you're bringing attention to as well. Bonnie, in a time where TV is just so misguided and often just plain bizarre, you are a breath of fresh air; You've got a great head on your shoulders and aren't afraid to be the voice of reason. DON'T CHANGE A THING! I love you just the way you are, grammatical errors and all ;) That's why you are so easy to watch, no pretension about you, just a regular girl like me and so many others who love what you bring to our days. THANKS!!! Star Austin
Regarding Bonnie's comments on plastic surgery (Joan Rivers particularly.) I totally agree, that natural aging is more attractive than all the tightening and plumping of lips. Two examples come to mind. Jessica Lange and Meg Ryan. Very attractive with looks that set them apart. Now??? Plastic people. They should seek refunds.
Dear Bonnie:
The information about the dog in the purse made me sick ! There should be rules in the World that have ALL DOGS STAY HOME ...Paris Hilton in the La LA Land started this trend...or someone like that several years ago..people shop in Macy's with the Stupid dogs sticking out of their bags...HOW CRUEL for the poor little dogs....I have a long fuse on all issues except for three:
1) if you shopping, dining, theater, leave your dog at home !!!! PLEASE
2) If your healthy and shopping at grocery with cart, please please do NOT leave the cart in the parking lot for the "underpaid store clerks" to move back !!! It is good exercise to put your cart back if you are NOT disabled...
3) PLEASE use turn signals when driving so that the person in back knows your direction. Whew..there that feels better ! Have a good week...enjoy your show now that I've been laid off..you and Ellen make my day a bit brighter in between networking on laptop, phone for new career...thanks so much ! Lori Dadamio, 1756 Carmel Dr. # 312, Walnut Creek,CA 94596 -LEAVE DOGS AT HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That story you told about the dog in the purse made me cry. Please Bonnie do something about this. People are so stupid when it comes to animals and babies. I wonder what Niegel would think about the way she treating this dog. He could die--I say lets put her in a purse!
Dear Bonnie,
My girlfriend, Corrie and I love your show and share your passion for dogs.
We were appalled by your story about Alicia Jacobs, a Las Vegas celebrity interviewer, who kept her king charles spaniel puppy in a zippered purse while galavanting around Vegas and attending Danny Ganns performance.
I was so disgusted that I did what any curious human in this day and age would do; i googled her. This is the first thing I found on her network bio page:
She is on the board of directors of the Leid Animal Foundation, and has contributed her likeness and voice to countless campaigns on behalf of the Humane Society of the United States and the ASPCA. Alicia says, "I am truly passionate about animals. I am grateful for any contribution I can make to their well being in this world."
Here's my question. Unfortunately, it's only a rhetorical one. Do you think anyone who blatantly treats animals like accessories should be on the board of directors of an animal foundation or represent the Humane Society?! That's like being a PTA president who doesn't have a kid in the school....or a PETA member in a fur coat...
If Ms. Jacobs does want to make a contribution to the well-being of animals she will cease to treat her dogs in this fashion. I suppose the pun is intended.
The next time you or any of your viewers see a puppy in a similar situation I have a great passive-aggressive way to teach the owner a lesson: Feed the puppy! Or bring it a cup of water to drink out of. As you're stroking the owner's ego, telling her how adorable the puppy is, let it drink some of the water. Within the hour that puppy will be peeing on her cell phone or pooping on her checkbook. Lessons will be learned.
Thanks for voicing your concern for this poor little puppy and exposing a hypocrite. Hope you find a buddy for Charlie real soon. Chicago loves you!
Sincerely,
Jefferson

BECAUSE FANTASTIC IN YOUR GLASSES, LOOK YOU DO.
Hi Bonnie
Sorry you had to let Fred go back. He seemed just right for you. I do understand tho. Have you ever seen underdog to wonderdog ? It would be great if they could train Fred for you. What a great few shows you would have while this was all taking place. I luv your show. I am an elderly lady in very bad health who is fortunate enough to have a Yorkshire terrier. He is also 9 yrs old like Chuck. I wish we could take those years off of them. Don't you? When I am at my sickest he never leaves my side. He is on medication for epileptic seizures. It is horrible when he has them. He and I are getting old together. But we both comfort one another. Thanks. I luv you Bonnie you are so down to earth. I love your mom. I lost mine 3 years ago.
Howdy Bonnie,
I want to extend my biggest thank yous for having such a great show. I do not get to see you all the time as I work full time. But when I do, I LOVE IT. I just came back from Vegas on Monday. Love it. Saw Encore in the rain on Saturday.
Re the puppy in the bag at a Vegas show. I think someone should have put her head in a bag and see if she liked it. Kudos for publicly saying something so maybe others will think of the animal before the convenience (but not best interest) of taking the pet with them when they hear it out loud as to how bad it is.
Hugs and kisses to Charlie.
Love you, your show, your staff. Keep us laughing.
Love
Cheryl

Jayne Malone
I love your show. I think you are such a great person, funny as hell. If you ever bring your show to New York, I would like to be able to get tickets, as I don't fly. Keep up the good work. It's so nice
to see a show with some class.
P.S. I truly enjoy all the stories about Dean Martin and all the
old time stars.
Bonnie
I missed some of the show today but came in during Mike Birbiglia and was so entertained! I was laughing so hard I started crying! I wish I lived closer to where is show was going to be but I live way in nowhereville. I love your show and watch everyday while making lunch and cleaning the kitchen. When you get to laughing it cracks me up!
Mike Birbiglia was hilarious!!! My husband also has a sleeping disorder where he acts out his dreams. They usually involve saving me from something which in reality usually injures me. I'll mention sleeping in a sleeping bag with mittens to him and see how it goes. Would love to see his show, but live in Indiana. Keep doing what your doing - it's wonderful.
thanks,
Karen
Bonnie, you look especially adorable today. I didn't know that you're Polish, too. No wonder your mom is just way too cute!! Great show!!
Dear Sweet Bonnie,
I see you are taking my advice & leaving the Muffin Covers home. Love the look today.
Loved the Sleep Walk Guy! Tooooo Funny & sad at the same time.
You are so wonderful.
Your Vegas stories were great as well
I am home sick these days, so you really make my day. Laughter is so healing!
Angel Wings Enfold,
Linda B.
Bonnie, first I must say I LOVE your show. I'm watching it right now and was really upset upon hearing about the woman who stuffed her puppy in a purse and brought it to the Danny Gans show. I'm from Las Vegas and the woman with the dog, Alicia Jacobs, is a local new reporter who claims to be an animal rights advocate! I sent her an email through the news website explaining why i feel it is wrong to treat an animal this way. If any other Bonnie Hunt fans would like to do the same the website for that local news station is www.kvbc.com
I was referring to Bonnie, by the way. I think that she is an extremely good looking woman. By far the best part about her is her attitude and sense of humor.
Bonnie, I'm sending you a great Utube video that you will love. I appreciate you feelings about the little dog. You are so honest about your feelings.
