SHOW RECAP
Carnie Wilson and husband Rob Bonfiglio are expecting their second child in June and on today's show Carnie is going to announce what they're going to name their newest addition. She's then in the kitchen showing Bonnie how to make one of her favorite desserts. Derek Luke was working in the gift shop on the Sony Studio lot when he was discovered and offered the lead role in Denzel Washington's 'Antwone Fisher.' He's now in 'Notorious' and Bonnie will find out what it was like portraying mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs in this highly anticipated film. Plus, they may be small but these kids have some big ideas and will be showing Bonnie some of their clever and useful inventions.

Second layer:
1 1/4 cups Skippy Chunky Peanut Butter
Third Layer (The genius frosting):
1 stick butter
1/4 cup Hershey's Cocoa
1/3 cup whole milk
8 large marshmallows
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 16 oz. box powdered sugar, sifted
Grease a 13x9 pan with butter. Make the first layer.... melt the butter and cocoa together in a saucepan, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and let cool for five minutes.. Blend in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add the flour and salt and mix until no big lumps. Pour into the greased pan and bake for 20-30 minutes. Do not over bake. Remove from oven and spread peanut butter evenly over the top and cool in refrigerator. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, melt the butter, cocoa and milk, vanilla and salt. Add the marshmallows and stir constantly until they are completely melted. Now beat in the powdered sugar a cup at a time until it's totally smooth. Spread this beautiful, thick, chewy frosting over the cooled brownies/peanut butter and cool for 10 minutes. Drizzle the caramel sauce over and then sprinkle with nuts. Keep in a cool, dry place.

Love your show, Bonnie. How refreshing it is. Would like to see just a recipe tab on your website. That would make it more convenient to browse all of them. Thanks!

Thank you for inviting Thomas on the show!
What a wonderful experience for all the junior inventors. We had a wonderful stay and send a big THANK YOU to your entire staff for making us feel so welcome.
Hey Bon!! Just wantcha to know how happy you make me. I've been a fan since your show in '95/'96. You make me laugh and my heart smile constantly. You are SO funny and SO my sense of humor. Thank you for coming to daytime. Your new show is one of the best, and I love it so much. You're a natural and a pro as a host, come on. You guys do a great job over there. I love your on the cuff thinking and improv skills. Always have. You are very genuine, good hearted, and not to mention, BA-eautiful!! You probably get a lot of this, but I had to put in my two cents ya know. I live in Myrtle Beach, SC with my partner and our three cats. And we ALL love Bonnie!!!! We recently took a trip to Chicago for the first time and fell in love with your hometown. What a beautiful city. Love the accent. 'Got change for a hunerd?' Haha! I totally pick up on it more often now. And by the by, chocolate and peanut butter are my favorites in a dessert, too. I about fell off my chair when ya said that. You are my favorite and I juss' love ya. Please keep up the great work, and I look forward to watching for years to come. Sincerely, Devoted Fan!!
I loveeeeeeeeeeee Wilson Phillips. "Hold On" Is my FAVORITE song by them. :]
Bonnie, I wrote you before and I'm just nagging you now....you really must get Steve Martin on your show. You both had great chemistry in Cheaper By The Dozen.
People love to watch interviews of comedians, especially when interviewed by someone they know.
Dear Bonnie,
I love your show, it is so nice to have a show on tv that is about good people, good things and good experiences. I love how positive and caring you and your crew are.

Bonnie - I absolutely love your show! When watching you talk about Charlie mourning for Buddy and your voice almost cracked, I knew what a loving, caring person you were (always have really). I lost two dogs within two years but I can tell you one thing, they bring so much joy to one's life, they are worth the heartache when they go to heaven. I just imagine my Emmy and Hershey playing in Heaven and being my "guardian angels". I hope you find a playmate for Charlie and another angel to love. Being single makes it so much important to share your life with your dog(s). I was single for 24 years before I met my husband, George, on-line. He was worth waiting for! Keep up the wonderful show! I watch every day.
I love your show and how funny you are. Even my two year old son watches every day along with me. I used to watch "another" show but all they did was argue for the entire hour and it became incredibly boring and predictable for me.
I am so happy to have an hour in my day that is filled with so much laughter and joy. I love everything about your show from the beginning as you tell us about your day or experiences (which is my favorite, I could listen to an hour of that everyday. No need for guests! Ha Ha Ha.) to the way you interact with your guests and even the way you cook along with Paula Dean and things don't turn out perfect. You are so likable in every way so keep making me and everyone smile and laughing out loud. Thanks so much!!!
Can you have your producers Mom on more? It was so funny the way her Mom went on and on criticizing the way she looked but we knew she was doing it with motherly love but she is a riot. At first I thought that was your Mom, and while she is great, incorporating the other would be fun too.

I would like to know why it takes so long for the draws. Some of the items have been on there for months.
Hi Bonnie,
When you went home for the holidays, did Charlie stay home? If so maybe that's why is is feeling sad. Maybe he felt you were leaving him too?
I am sorry for the lose of Buddie, we recently lost two faithful, extremely love dogs within 7 months of each other. Trust me I have cried my eyes out until I thought I couldn't cry anymore. But on the flip side we adopted a rescue Malamute named Smokey. We had to be interviewed not only by the family, but by Smokey also. I'm glad to say that we passed and he has been a part of our family for almost two years now. He is one of the most delightful, entertaining and loyal pets we have ever had. So we wish you and Charlie luck in your search. Just like love you will find the right match when you least expect it!!!
Love the Show--My husband is in love with you, thinks you're te sexiest thing.

I got this on email today and thought about Bonnie:
Who is your REAL friend?
This really works...!
If you don't believe it, just try this experiment.
Put your dog and your spouse in the trunk of the car for an hour.
When you open the trunk, see who is really happy to see you?
I always admired Carnie before today but she was a little too graphic when talking about her pregnancy. Where has personal dignity and self-respect gone?
Im so sad,,i had a Dr appt. today,,and altho there was a tv in the waiting room, the shmux that got there before me wanted to watch Judge Mathis,,Give Me a Break,,i was so mad and figidy i had to wait outside,,LOL Im still addicted to yer show,LOVE it,,not keen on the new Games segment((very ellen)).
Keep up the Bonnie attitude.
Please tell us what Nigh Nigh means (yu always say) when yu see a baby, or a cute animal on yer show.
I loved your show today -- I always love your show! The kid inventors were great... and the way you interact with kids is so genuine! You should adopt a child! You would be fine without a man in your life to raise the child with.... you have so much love to give. You are such a beautiful person, inside and out, and you radiate so much of that beauty on your show everyday. I hope you are on TV for a long time to come! You are also very talented -- from being a nurse, actress, singer and now talk show host -- you can do it all. I especially love how good you are at improvisation! (& how comfortable you make all the guests feel). I also love when your mom is on -- she is a hoot -- and it shows how much you love her -- it reminds me, of me and my mom's relationship -- very, very close!

My love and prayers to Charlie.

Bonnie, you rocked with the kid inventors. My mom was visiting me and I said we had to watch your show. She was wetting her depends when you talked to Thomas about his girlfriend. I love the way you engage everyone.
Keep up the good work and thank you for making me smile.

Dear Bonnie, You are a delight to watch on T.V. I have always loved watching you in the movies you have been in. I love your natural responses which makes everyone smile. god Bless You
Dear Bonnie, I really enjoy your show and like almost all of your guests and topics.I have to admit I don't care for the Bachelor program stuff or The Hills stuff but at least you keep it short.Today's show with the kid inventors was outstanding. I am disabled and in a wheelchair and I thought Thomas's idea of the reachable hangers was fantastic. It would be a great help to those of us in a wheelchair. Please pass this suggestion on to him.I think you would make a wonderful mom and should consider either having a baby or adopting one before it is too late.I think if you can keep Charlie busy with some of your nieces and nephews or co-worker's kids he will snap out of his depression.I would love to meet you someday, maybe when I'm a little stronger I might make it to California.
