SHOW RECAP
Molly Sims ("Fired Up"): She plays the head counselor at a cheer camp in this new comedy, and she knows a few things about being a cheerleader since she was one in high school. Hear about those days of big hair and sneaking out to makeout with her boyfriend.

Chris Jericho (WWE's "Monday Night Raw"): He's serious in the ring, but all laughs outside of it! Chris is full of surprises -- like the fact that he's a graduate of the famous Groundlings improv group here in Los Angeles!

Milk-Bone's 100th Anniversary SpokesDog Contest: It's been narrowed down to three finalists, now Bonnie has the pleasure of revealing which dog will be the face of Milk-Bone -- and the recipient of $100,000!

I realy don't understand how anyone that gets
so much, lives in a extra big house and has millioins can complain because a Plumber said it would cost you $2,000.00 to fix your wall that a pipe broke in your new wall. You should be ashamed of yourself. He probably makes, at most, $35,000.00 a year and has a family to support and so does the carpenter.
The blue collar worker doesn't steal when they go into your house.
My daughter and I started watching you and was so happy that, finally there was a decent host.
The blond wig and partial breast showing is discusting.
Please wear something differant ever day. Those of us that watch every day, gets tired of seeing the same thing every day.
I'm sorry that this is so crittical. But we were so hoping to see a decent show.

I can't let the comments by "S" (who doesn't even put her/his name) go unanswered. This is obviously someone who is uneducated about the breed and ONLY believes the media hype. I have known many Pit Bulls over my life and not one of them has ever bitten or attacked anyone. Please check your facts, www.nationalcanineresearchcouncil.com is a great source

The comment "I don't care if this pit bull helped an old lady from having a heart attack.. All Pit Bulls eventually end up mean. I have many of friends that have trained them and taught them to be good dogs, and if they snap they snap.."

just goes to show how the media has misinformed and scared the public. It is the human factor that has done horrible things to the breed. They are the most abused breed in America, abused by who??? Humans! At the turn of the century they were the number 1 family dog also known as the NANNY dog for the way they are with children. Over the years it has been the BloodHound, German Shepard, Doberman, Rottie, now it is the Pit Bull that the media has chosen to sensationalize and slant the image. If a Lab,Great Dane, Boxer or any breed for that matter attacks/bites it is not reported to the public but if it is a Pit, even if it is not a Pit many times they will say it is, you can bet it will be on the news.

I am disappointed that Milk-Bone had a chance to help the cause of Pit Bulls image and to go with a dog that definatley has accomplished more than most dogs and rightfully deserved the recognition, but because of people like "S" chose to go the easier route.

They did say that all three dogs will be on the boxes. When?? I can't wait to see the Pit Bull lining the shelves at my local store.

The Bonnie Hunt Show is on Hiatus til September
I know it stinks that we will have re-runs for 3 months

I am sorry that some of you do not agree with the Milkbone winning being a Great Dane.

I am sorry did I miss the cartoon of a Pit Bull, I am sure they will make one with Michael Vick. The Killer Dog and his leader.

I don't care if this pit bull helped an old lady from having a heart attack.. All Pit Bulls eventually end up mean. I have many of friends that have trained them and taught them to be good dogs, and if they snap they snap..

Now I remember the GREAT DANE IS THE GENTLE GIANT OF THE DOG BREEDS!!

So, what if he did not give blood or help someone, I would rather a GREAT DANE on a milkbon box then a pit bull.

God, knows we don't need to promote pit bulls anymore then they are. Most people would rather the breed just die out.

So, good for the Great Dane for winning. And maybe next year they will again pick another dog besides a pit bull.

Where's Bonnie?? Is the show on hiatus?

I was wondering why all the reruns since Memorial Day, just read the website comments and got my answer. Did Bonnie mention that her last show was on May 22nd and I missed it? Hope the format changes a bit, too much Ask Alice (she and Bonnie can never hear each other), too many dogs begging to be adopted. I find I am tuning out after the first guest, Bonnie needs more than one strong guest to hold my interest. Otherwise, I enjoy the show and really like Bonnie as a person.
Keep up the great work, Don.

Have a great summer,
Karen from Hamilton, Ontario

Thank you for having the segment on adopting dogs. We live in Missouri in the country, where, believe it or not they not only dump their animals but they try to injure them and leave them to die. We try to save and place them or we give them to a shelter. However, it is not uncommon for us to have 5 dogs and around 10 cats at one time. They are great! That is how many we have now...lol. Just last week our children found a 5 week old golden lab mix puppy that someone with NO heart tried injure and leave on our land to die. We are pleased to tell you with some love from our vet and the family, he is going to be fine. The children named him "GIBBS" after NCIS Jethro Gibbs. Since then my mother-in-law who is 72 has a new house guest. They are the perfect match made in heaven ! The 2 cats that were left here pregnant also have name of NCIS characters as a matter of fact we have more kittens than characters. Maybe next we"ll start with your band or producer names. We did have an Alice but she was placed, very happily.

Thanks for all you do for our little buddies.
We love them all.

PICTURE OF THE DAY:

"Good heavens man what did you have for lunch! Have the common sense to leave the room before you kill us all!"

I've been sitting in the stupid meeting for so long, I finally had to let it (silently) rip. I wonder how long it will be before it takes out that guy.

Why was the Great Dane chosen over a boxer that helps other dogs? The Great Dane was chosen because he what?????

On top of being SO good looking, I was surprised at how NICE Chris Jericho is. He is a really funny guy and sounds like a great person! What a hottie!

Keep up the good work Bonnie, I love your show!

For the picture of the day caption from the bank of america CEO.....

" I should've used Preparation H!"

I'm glad to hear you're on hiatus. Just a little tip for next season: Let us know when you're taking a vacation or just having time with the family. Those of us who watch every day feel confused and disappointed when we see that "encore presentation". It would be nice to hear "We will be spending time with our families for the next few days, so enjoy some of our viewer favorites. We'll be back on...." Just an idea you may want to consider... Enjoy your summer, making that Mrs. Paul's movie!!!hahaha

BONNIE! Nice crew! I'll take all of them!

Here's my bio:
Cute blonde, graphic designer, 5'10, 130 lbs. and sure fire funny from good old wisco...your neighbor! Match me up honey!

I used to only laugh out loud to one show on tv and that was AFV. But this show has given me lots of laughs since I started watching it. I just love it and really have become addicted to it!

I can't believe that one of the dogs with such GREAT stories didn't win! What were the rules? How were they picked? My favorite was the Pit Bull,he was adorable!! and what a story to tell from such a feared breed. Thank-you Bonnie for taking time to share such wonderful stories. It would have been such a positive thing for Pit Bulls to be represented by such an accomplished dog,and for Milkbone to have selected such a controversial breed. But they went with a safe bet rather than one that could be possibly cause public outcries. Oh, well maybe next time they be braver....
