I love watching the show....Bonnie is so refreshingly funny.
I NEED the shirt that Bonnie is wearing on Tuesdays show. It is beautiful....I would look great in it. Where did she get it??
Please help a fat lady dress better...and let me know where to get one.
Thanks!
Hi, Bonnie! Love your show! I'm from the Chicago area, and in fact my mother went to Notre Dame. I went to Madonna and was one class ahead of Marilu Henner.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I don't know why people would criticize you for how you pronounce "Nordstrom." Everyone pronounces "Christmas" like "muss" and not "mass." What's the big deal?
Your loyal fan,

Dear Bonnie, I hate that I have to send a negative comment to you, but I wouldn't be true to myself if I didn't. Let me start this out by saying that your new show has been a treasure to me and I save all your shows on my DVR. My problem is that I can't watch today's show because of a guest you had on today. Kathy Griffin once was a comedian that I enjoyed at times. She can be really funny but when I heard a show of hers telling Jesus to f ck himself ect. well, that was it for me. I don't know what she's on about but at that point I chose not to look at her, let alone listen to anything she has to say. The way this country is headed is scary. They are taking God out of everything. Our country was founded on the right to practice our religious beliefs and to respect all religions. Our fore fathers are probably all rolling over in their graves with all the bashing going on. I'm sure she didn't say anything of the sort on your show, only because I know your a class act and would have put her politely in her place and always with humor. Love you, and thanks for listening. Laurie

Bonnie, I must tell you after being with the same cardiology group for 12yrs, they fired me. Tough economy. I came upon your show. You made me laugh even in the worst time of my life. Now that I'm unemployed, I can't miss it. I love your come backs to your guests. You really bring alot of the stars down to earth. Stay true to yourself. Thanks!! Pam P
Wow...Bonnie!
Thanks so much for bringing David Archuleta on to your show. He is an amazing singer, and is quickly going to become a rising star! He is such a sweet soul too, what you see is what you get with David, so real and so honest!

Wow! You have to get that guy a job, Shane, he is very talented!
Bonnie! I loved the piece today on the young man who danced to the new Beyonce song! I just think it was tremendously brave of him to do the dance right in front of the music video. It could have been really unforgiving, showing any possible misstep, and he NAILED it! I wish him the best of luck, and I hope he has a really successful dance career a head of him!

I love David Archuleta! I was so glad you had him on your show! & i thought he did really good!
I have to admit I have never seen your show before and now I know what I have been missing. You are funny and your show is great. Thanks for having David Archuleta as one of your guests today. He is a breath of fresh air in the music industry. He is, as people say, changing lives with his amazing musical talent and his humble character and so much more. I hope you have him back again soon. Thanks
Shane Mercado was amazing!! I actually thought he was better than Beyonce!!!! Thank you for giving hima chance to show off his talents. Your show is amazing!!
I saw the boy doing the dance-along with the Beyonce video . Wow, he was good.
But, did you see the guys from Saturday Night Live doing a spoof on that video along with Beyonce herself, and Justin Timberlake?
It was a hoot!!! You should "Youtube" it.....hilarious.
I just wanted to say thank you for having David Archuleta on your show! You were very genuine with David and I loved what you said about not letting the bad things go to his heart!
You were really funny...I laughed throughout the entire show! I will certainly be watching The Bonnie Hunt Show again!
Hey Bonnie-- I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE your wit!
That dance video was great! ...made my day!
YOUR SHOW ROCKS!!!!!!!!
Hi Bonnie,
I just wanted to encourage you in something you said in your newsletter email this week about a family "medical challenge"... and to let you know I'm praying for you and your family. One thing I've learned (beyond "acceptance") is how quickly life can change, but also, how close God wants to be to us as we lift our lives to him in all these "challenges." He's shown me firsthand how prayer holds so much more than we can even imagine... I'm glad you shared what you did, because it gives me the chance to pray with you guys... :)
Last Dec, a few days before Christmas, my doctor called to tell me that a test I'd just had showed uterine cancer. Amazingly, I felt sort of calm while he told me (maybe it didn't fully sink in), and I remember a thought flitting thru my mind that said "you just heard bad news," (sort of like they always say in TV movies...)
Back around the time I was in college at Loyola Marymount (LA, mid 1970's), I began reading the psalms and seeing how they are filled with God's promises to pray over our lives and others. The bible came more alive to me than it had at mass in all my growing up years. And in all these years since that time, God's shown me so much of His Word that is filled with his promises to us -- and how powerful His word is when we pray it over our lives. So it was natural for me last Dec, to open the bible immediately after that phone call.
The first words my eyes fell on were in Psalm 112 7: "They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them." My mouth fell open at how EXACTLY that spoke to the thought that had just been in my mind about "bad news." I scanned the words preceding that line, and they spoke of God pouring light into our darkness, lifting us to joy, etc. My prayers began to change to "confidence" that no matter what, God would care for me thru the hands of the doctors etc.
As I prayed during the next two weeks before my surgery, God led me to so many beautiful heart-lifting words in Psalms, Isaiah and other places...and I just began to pray them as His promises to me. In the midst of that, it was like those words were His blanket of peace over me. There is a psalm I can't find today (here at work), that says "he sends his word to heal us..." I think that God wants to send his word to us, and when we pray His word, we allow Him to do that in so many ways... In my case, he did heal me completely, and I'm filled with thanksgiving for His word spoken over us. I've seen him do that in so many I've prayed for...and in others, it's been healing in different ways. But in any case, those promises bring life.
And so, not knowing exactly what your family is going thru, I encourage you with the promises in verses like these to pray over your loved ones, even as I pray them for you: Psalm 27
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation—
so why should I be afraid?
The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger,
so why should I tremble?
2 When evil people (or I substitute "disease" in those we pray for) come to devour me,
when my enemies (disease)and foes attack me,
they will stumble and fall.
3 Though a mighty army surrounds me,
my heart will not be afraid.
Even if I am attacked,
I will remain confident.
Psalm 121
5 The LORD himself watches over you!
The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.
6 The sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon at night.
7 The LORD keeps you from all harm
and watches over your life.
and Ps 103 ...Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits;
Who pardons all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases;
Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
May the Lord lead you to His promises to pray in your own situation, Bonnie. I know he wants to encourage you and yours...that He is with you, bending near to hear your prayers, holding you close... Pam
