SHOW RECAP
LL Cool J ("NCIS: Los Angeles"): This guy has had a successful career in the music world spanning two decades. While that might be enough for most people, he's also a successful actor in movies and TV -- most recently in this season's highest-rated new show.

John Irving ("Last Night in Twisted River"): Well known for his novels that were turned into movies ("The World According to Garp," "The Cider House Rules"), this esteemed author's most recent work does not disappoint. He's here to talk to Bonnie about his latest novel, which follows the story of a young man on the run.

Rumer Willis ("90210"): She may have famous parents and a famous last name, but this young lady has established herself as quite the actress. Did you know that she and Bonnie were both in the film "Now and Then"?

"The Amazing Race" Eliminated Team: The race is heating up! The couples are being eliminated one by one, and Bonnie will have the latest one here to share all the stuff you didn't see on screen!

The word is "port" for Oasis of the Seas

I want desperately to enter your "word of the day--Oasis of the Seas" contest, but I don't have a facebook (and don't want one). My husband and I took a cruise some years ago with 26 other friends, and we're all ready to go again! Would this be perfect for us or what?!?! Please tell me how I can enter. P.S. My husband and I always have and always will think you're the CAT'S MEOW!
Pardon the pun (we love animals too!).

I always enjoy watching your show. You always try to be so uplifting, and you have a GREAT sense of humor.

Today's show was very entertaining. I especially enjoyed the segment with John Irving. The Cider House Rules was the first movie I ever saw with my husband, and we both cried. I am sure I will enjoy his new book. And a special note to Bonnie Hunt...I just love your sense of humor, your mom, your sincerity, and your show. Keep up the great work!

Bonnie, love your show, switched between you & Rachel Ray when she was opposite your show. Now that I watch yours, I find you are so real, even a CUB FAN, like me,similiar up bringing & close to same age.... I grew up on a farm & love animals. It's really all relative....
love your MOM too.
yours truly,
fran

Hi Bonnie,

Love love love your show. I've been a big fan of yours forever. I so loved your show Life with Bonnie, I would watch every week, that little red hed kig OH MY GOD so funny. Loved all your movies. You honestly look like such a nice person and once I get my life back on track I'd love to go see one of your shows.

I've been going through a ruff patch year and half but I'm telling myself it could be so much worse. So every night I rush home to watch your show and I have to admit that makes me forget and laugh. I was all excited when I saw your cruise contest but was very sad when I took a look at the rules and noticed that the contest does not apply to Canadian viewers snif snif.

I still love you Bonnie but I'm hoping that you will open up your contest for us over here in Canada we love watching your show you know.

OK enough babling I do still love you and will continue watching your show.

See you soon (I HOPE!!)

Bonnie, I love your show and the segments with your Mom. In Baltimore, Maryland, it is carried at 1:35 a.m., this season, so I tape it and watch it later in the day. Does John Kimmel still work on your show?

I just want to say how much I enjoy your show. I have always loved all of the films that you have been in. There are so many. I especially enjoyed you in "Only you", "Return to me", "Jerry Maguire", All romantic comedies. But, I saw you in "The Green Mile" the other day. You are really such a versatile actress.
I really enjoy the segment with your Mom. She reminds me very much of my mother. She really is so cute. Congratulations on your success with this show!! By the way, do you have to be on Facebook to enter the contest for the "Oasis of the Seas"?

Hi Bonnie - This is mostly for LLCoolJ (sorry!!) When I heard him talking about the music school or camp to work with kids in the music field, I got very excited. My Grandson just took up the drums last Christmas and is now playing in a church group on Wed. evenings. He went to a week-long camp this past summer in Atlanta GA and just loved it. Do you possibly think I could get some information about the place LLCoolJ was talking about and share it with my Grandson? He is 15 years old, a Freshman at Milton High School in Alpharetta, GA and (I'm not just saying this because he is my Grandson) he is a wonderful young man. I would love for you to meet him.

He just had his hair shaved, by my son, because one of his best friends' Mom has terrible breast cancer and he wanted to show his support for her.

If you can help me with an address or phone number, I would appreciate it so very much. My husband and I love your show and I am crazy about your Mom. I don't know how old she is but, at my age of 70, I love all the answers she gives. You are very blessed to have her -- you are just like two peas in a pod!!! Thanks for your help, Maxie Hinshaw, Greensboro, NC

I haven't seen today's show yet but I just watched yesterday's show and it was GREAT. I really enjoyed the segment with the Eat This Not That guy. I have seen him before and always learn from him. I have his book on my list for Christmas. Keep up the good work Bonnie!

Hey. Just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE your show. I am normally working during the day but if I am home sick,on vaction, or off for the holidays I always tune in. I find your show to be MORE rewarding than all the other daytime talk shows. Your personality just ZINGS through. I just love that you are so personable. I watch you at 11 o'clock a.m. on channel 8 out of Cleveland, Ohio. I do hope you are still on in 3 1/2 more years because that is when I plan on retireing after all ready putting in 39 1/2 years in the same job. Any how I just wanted you to know that I do really enjoy you show and to tell you to keep up the good work. MAYBE someday I will be able to attend your show.

Sincerely

Pat Fritz

John Irving is a class act and I believe your audience would appreciate more of this. I rarely get to watch your show, but I was impressed with the interview.

C Bloch the Cruise contest doesn't start til November 9th.

I hope this helps.

Karen

Love your show. Cant find where to enter the cruise
for 9 on the worlds largest ship.Help..............

Hi Bonnie,
Love your show! LL Cool J was great on your show.
I liked his advice about kids today. Listening to them and watching them is key to learning about their personalities and who they will become. Sometimes as parents and grandparents we push ideas and advice without listening as much as we should. Children are so smart! On a different note; why do you always wear a black jacket? You are such a beautiful lady. You would look great in other colors too. Red, blue or maybe other bright colors would be great for you. Just wondering! Melissa

Bonnie,
Looks like another great show.. Keep up the good work !!!

When John Irving was telling his catheder story Ouch. I remember your catheder story when you were a nurse.

Rumor Willis what she was saying about peoples opinions about her and anyone for that matter. She was right on with her words to live by.

At the end of the day you have to live your own life..

Not every one is going to like you and you should never feel the need to change yourself to meet what peoples expectation or opionions could be.

You should have an expectation for yourself but nobody else should

All common sense.

Karen
