Can anyone out there remember the name of the book that Bonnie's guest is,i came in late but she and her daughter were robbed and she was a beautiful strong lady and i know Bonnie held her book up for us to see but i did not get the name down. Can anyone help me so i can order it,Thank you Bonnie fans,

Well said, Mandy! Why isn't Bonnie responding to any of these comments about her reaction to Serena?

Why did you not air the interview with Ned, "The Skunk Whisperer" stating as to WHY he had to wait while the poor skunk ran around with the jar on his head? He HAD no choice but to wait until he could get the permission to touch the skunk or HE would have lost his license, livelihood and possibly the poor skunk would have lost his life. I understand when you first aired the bit that you didn't understand why he was standing around while the poor little guy was in distress, BUT, after you or your staff supposedly talked to him on Tuesday, you promised to air something about it and Wednesday countless numbers of us watched and/or DVR'd the show, but no comment about Ned or the skunk. That skunk WAS unharmed while Ned, unfortunately had to wait for permissions that are stupid but in place and have to be followed. He did what was best for him and for the skunk, but you bashed him and never apologized when hearing the full story. I used to love you and your show, but now I will absolutely NEVER watch it again, and have commented the same to many others, and they are on my side as well.

Signed,
From a former fan who LOVES skunks more than shows that portray wonderful people in harmful and hurtful ways.

Hello Bonnie!
We are truly upset by the portrayal of your recent guest "the Skunk Whisperer" and a recent rescue as inhumane. Our family in Wisconsin has volunteered our time and money to rescue local Urban and wild waterfowl , birds and occasionally other wildlife as well. In the 9 years we have been doing this we have learned the laws that regulate this work are often not humane and not focused on the animals and what is best for them but rather what is best for the people or community as a whole. We also learned how to bend and even break many of those laws to save the animal we worked with. FOr us it was a risk only of getting fined for this because since we were a family not getting donations doing this work.. well no permits to pull. Did you know its illegal to touch a wild animal that you break the law if you were to stop for a wild animal that is hit by a car to help it ? No one really enforces it but its still illegal if you are not a certified to do this.
We had a Male Snow goose once in the park that was a migratory goose and hit by a car. He had an broken wing but otherwise ok. We called DNR and were told to leave him because THEY were 4 counties away and the program did not have the money to send anyone that far for an animal that is not considered endangered. SO we weer to leave that goose to suffer in the cold and die? I dont think so. We scooped him up and transported him to rehab. He was release back into the wild once healed. Those DNR guys were not heartless but were following protocol . Ovr th years they leared to respect us and we them they realized we were goin to do what was best for the animal and they helped us when they could and advised on what legal lines we were to jump over as we did it! So I truly understand the skunk whispers dilema. Had it been us we would have possibly done differently because we would not have had to worry aobut permits.. but if this guy loses permits he cant do the work he does and then many animals will suffer for that loss. That skunk was obvioulsy an urban Skunk with his territory locally. Its best for the animal to NOT relocate him or her is possible for MANY reasons in a situation like that. That Skunk was unharmed and able to leave and go back to his or her home on its own. Hopefully wiser to the danger a Pnut butter jar poses! What to take away from this is that the Laws need to change and people need to change things.. Maybe it could have been avoided had the person who threw the P nut butter jar away put the lid back on it this would have been avoided.. IF people cut up the plastic rings from soda and water bottles we would not rescue birds with them around thier necks or find birds dead strangled in them. So I think you were a bit hasty in your portrayal of the skunk whisper and his actions this time. Someone needed to do more research on it I think. More to the story than meets the eye. Take care!

Hi Bon,
Just watched you on my DVR.
Each day I can't wait to see walk out to your desk to see if you're wearing something new. But not so lucky.
It's sad you say, you're beginning to look like the grim reaper with that black pant suit on each and every day.
I like your band but noticed today only one man was maybe playing or make believe playing the organ or piano.
I like all the good work you do. But now don't you think you should take care of you?
Curious of you continue with the black pant suit at meeting in Chicago with Cancer doctors and donors.
Usually shows listen to their audience but maybe you're just ignoring us all this time.

HI BONNIE!

LOVED THE SKIT ABOUT THE SKUNK REPORTER!

IS ANYONE ELSE UNABLE TO ACCESS THE CAPTION CONTEST RE THE PRETTY POOCH IN THE POT ON THE PORCH?

I TRIED 3 TIMES, & WAS ALWAYS ROUTED TO THE BE ON THE SHOW SECTION....

Bonnie -(Re: 'Skunk-in-a-jar' Issue) OMIGOD! I just checked www.totalwildlifecontrol.com/skunk-whisperer-media-news.html - as I'm sure your staff has also done! I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at their response to this story!

They actually stated on this site: "A little gentle handling and the skunk was freed unharmed."

My question to all those posters who defend Ned Bruha "The Skunk Whisperer"/ not to mention the 'whisperer' himself,is: What took YOU so damn long!!?!

Hello Bonnie:

I love your show.I think you are just adorable and oh so funny. I watched your show today and I love Alison Sweeney. But I was wondering if you could have Crystal Chappell on your show to talk about Days of Our lives and her return and to talk about Venicetheseries? This is a mildstone soap opera that is going to the web. There are some really unique things that Crystal has done and one of them is to tie her audience into the making of this unique drama. There is so much to talk about in response to how this project was created and how this thing has set the world on its ear. She has a huge following and I am sure you will have so many new viewers on the day it airs it's a win win :)

Bonnie, I just love your show and you Mom is just the funniest. I love you crew. Bonnie I would love to win the sticks. I am 48 and have Lupus, I would love to do more walking and help with my legs and feet that is where most of the pain is so far. Please I would love to win a set. Keep up the good work you make my day so much happier.

So, uh, what exactly were you quoted as saying about Letterman? And what did you actually say?

I mean, why even bring it up if you're not going to explain what happened and why you're bothered? That time could've been spent on entertainment.

Bonnie - you are such a breath of fresh air!
I'm rather amazed at the comments re the poor skunk w/ his head stuck in the jar of peanut butter by the "skunk whisperer", Ned Bruha!
Okay - so I shall check out his site www.nokillpolicy.com for his possible explanation!
But, EXCUUUSE me!?! The video says it all! The poor little creature was shown for the entire interview running around so lost & confused while,(it was Mr Bruha, right?) rattled on & on!
His comment that the alternative was "do death or relocation"! DUH - what kind of answer was that?

We're not talking about a black bear or lion or an alligator here, folks! It was a small animal - stinky, yes -but, aren't there animal handlers who know how to safely get hold of such a creature & remove a jar from their head??

Mr Bruha, "TheSkunkWhisperer" - I'd like to 'whisper' something into your ear! Bonnie,
totally loved Don's video response - perfect!

Hi! Bonnie,
this is about the show - Oct.6/09 - Lisa Landry. She was labeled a "Comedian" but I found it far from comedy! I used to watch your show quite often but that episode has certainly made me think twice. I don't find it funny when talk of entertainment is going out for the evening and picking either the DQ or getting pregnant, feeding babies chips and beer, & promoting promiscuity. I found her quite grose, it was totally inappropriate!! I know Bonnie that there are much better guests out there for your show and I encourage you to look to keeping your show at a healthy level - why do we have to always bring in sex & promiscuity. So, I'm throwing out a challange to you. God Bless. Vera

Did I see a different show with the skunk in the peanut butter jar? What an overreaction in the posts I've just read! Good grief!

Bonnie commented quite rightly on the delays and the interview and why wasn't the jar removed? It was the JOB OF THE NEWS SHOW REPORTING THE SKUNK to explain all of this to the rest of us. For cryin' out loud, cut Bonnie and the rest of us some slack for a normal reaction to what was reported.

Bonnie-

The Skunk Whisperer is a wonderful, kind man who devotes his life to helping animals. He is also bound by law. He does the best job he can in the most humane way possible. I have worked with Ned and I know this to be a FACT! I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but nevertheless, one should have all the facts before they make a decision. God Bless The Skunk Whisperer and all that he does for our friends in the animal kingdom!

Bonnie,
How can you say Ned, The Skunk Whisperer, is inhumane? If he was inhumane he'd have just left the jar on the skunk's head and let it wonder until it starved or got hit by a car. The law would not allow him to take any action until he had the permissions to take the jar off the skunk's head without moving or killing it.

The skunk even thanked Ned by not spraying him when he did so.

I think it is more inhumane that the jars can get stuck on an animal's heads. This isn't a new issue. If you feel so strongly on the issue, say that you think the design of jars should be changed.

Ned did his best and I thank him for that! He is a wonderful man.

Thank you,
Mozzarella Pearle - black and white skunk

Bonnie

I just watched yesterdays show with Serena Williams. I couldn't believe all the excuses you made for her - it was really appalling. You called it a "human moment" and that you sympathized with her. Get a grip Bonnie. She threatened physical harm to another person by shoving a f'ing tennis ball down their throat! If she had been threatening you like that, would you have said to yourself "oh shucks, she's just having a human moment". What's wrong with you? Groveling to your guests like that is really disappointing. She's deserves no sympathy and no excuses.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Please don't be like the "regular" media and TV shows that show you what you want the public to believe. The Skunk Whisperer cares more for any animals well being than most! Know the whole storey BEFORE you speak. He is kind and cares. Shame on you! Please make this right and give The Skunk Whisperer his opportunity. Oklahoma may not be the best for state laws for animal protection but when someone who lives in Oklahoma tries their best but are bound by others, don't twist the storey!

Ms. Hunt, I don't know who got you the story about the skunk whisperer, but they didn't give you all the facts. I would hope your show would give the Skunk Whisperer an opportunity to give his side of the "entire" story. As there are laws and regulations that vary from state to state and licenses that have to be followed strictly for the safety of the public and the animal. I certainly hope you'll consider giving the Skunk Whisperer the opportunity to show your viewing audience the positive as well as the negative side to his often unappreciated by the public, job. Thank You Cam S

Loved the Dog With The Elvis Smile and the "Blondes" game show...how about a celebrity look-a-like piece. I am a Female Tribute Artist and would love to have a chance to share my talent with you and play along with others in the same brackett...I Tribute Elvis, U2s Bono and Cher. Love the show!

Bonnie - You need to give The Skunk Whisperer a chance to explain this situation. I have had Ned do wildlife control at my home and have gotten to know him pretty well since. He would NEVER endanger ANY living creature. His methods are always the most humane and beneficial to the animal. State laws and regulations had his hands tied. Until he could get certain permissions from the state he couldn't touch the skunk.
PLEASE! Allow Ned the opportunity to set the record straight!!
Thank you.
