I love the flowered coffee mug Bonnie uses. Can you buy it someplace? If so, where? Thank you for your help!
Bonnie
I agree with an earlier post. I only watched the View this week because you were on. Barbara was rude and I don't know how any guest could feel at ease with all the talking over each other.
Hi Bonnie, watched your show w/J.Kaczmarek You both were very funny. What she is promoting W/ HEIFER INNT. I think is great. To give people a chanch to be able to take care of them selves and there faimlies is wonderfull. Im glad your show has a way of showing how to give. Maja
Patricia, Would you rather have them starve?!?!?! What did you eat last night? OH You ate!!!! Maja
Bonnie,
I happened to catch your appearance on The View yesterday and wanted to say that I was shocked at how Barbara Walters reacted to your comment on her glamorous life. She was rude and unprofessional but you handled it spectacularly. She just came right out of "left field" and attacked you like an angry old hen. It was so odd! It seemed to me that you were paying her a compliment.
Maybe she needs to get more rest and lay off the coffee.
Anyway I am headed to The View website right now to give her my 2 cents personally.
Love your show, very up-beat and cute!
BONNIE I REALLY ENJOY YOUR SHOW AND YOUR OBVIOUS LOVE OF ANIMALS, BUT YESTERDAY, 18FEB YOU HAD THE ACTRESS FROM MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE PROMOTING HEIFER INTERNATIONAL.
YOU EVEN HAD A SHEEP ON WHO COULDNT SPEAK FOR HERSELF.
THEIR PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL SHOWS LITTLE CHILDREN WITH LITLE ANIMALS LIKE RABBITS AND CHICKENS WHICH LOOK LIKE PETS BUT WILL VERY SOON BE EATEN.
i DONT THINK YOU WOULD HAVE HAD A RABBIT ON THE SHOW WHEN ITS FATE WOULD HAVE BEEN OBVIOUS,AND i THINK THAT YOU CARE.
sO MUCH EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON THE WORLD EATING MEAT BUT SO MANY CULTURES DONT AND GET LESS OF "OUR" DISEASES.
sORRY TO SEE YOU ARE ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO DONATE TO HEIFER, I DONT THAT THOSE ANIMALS HAVE ANY LESS FEELINGS THAN YOUR CHARLIE!!!
THANKS
PATRICIA
just went to abc.com to see the clip of the View with bonnie on it. she came out good on that show.
Hi Bonnie, My name is Leigh and a client came in yesterday to tell me about your show on Wed. It was about dieting with the Doctors recommendations. She told me that he poo pooed Colon Hydrotherapy. No pun intenended. Has he ever had a Colonic? I have been doing Colon Hydrotherapy for 18 years now and have never had an adverse affect. My clients only have good things to say about how they feel after the session. Granted it is not like getting a massage but the after affects are incredible. If he could see what comes out of my clients I think he would recommend it. I certainly don't want those toxins in my body. Even if we eat a good diet we still live in a toxic enviornment. But really how many of us get enough fiber in our diet?I would truly like to know if he has received one and if not go and have one and then comment. He is welcome to come to me but I doubt he would travel to North Carolina. I never thought I would do one either but never say never. After my first colonic I did not know I felt bad until I felt better. I had more energy than I knew what to do with and my eyes went from brown to blue. Just kidding. But I did see more clearly. I just thought I would put my 2 cents in. Thanks for hearing my side. I have always loved your work and think you are hilarious. Good for you for getting your own talk show. Have a Happy Happy Day!! Leigh
I have a feeling that Bonnie didn't kiss Elizabeth because she doesn't really know her as well as the other women. She hasn't been on in awhile, but she knows Sherri because Less Than Perfect apparently shot at the same time and studio as Life with Bonnie so the casts hung out. The big issue I had with the View thing today was Joy. Barbara's just completely out of touch. She misquoted Bonnie from Dave saying she didn't like being a talk show host which was totally not what Bonnie said, and she said something about "reading" something that was just another thing from the Dave interview. I think Joy was intimidated by Bonnie because she knew Bonnie would run comic circles around her so she kept trying to keep her from being herself. Bonnie's ratings are starting to rise and a lot of people of switching from the View. There was so clearly a lot of jealousy and just general nastiness towards her. It will be interesting to see how Bonnie dicusses the situation when she's back next week. Knowing her she will be as classy as ever, but hopefully she'll dig them a bit.
i also saw Bonnie on the View and I noticed that she kissed all of the ladies except Elizabeth. I think the "ladies of the View" think they are all it cause they beat Oprah in some ratings show. They do get upset when they don't win the emmy for best talk show and Joy can't understand why Ellen wins all of the time because Joy made the comment once that the View has better ratings. I don't think the View will ever win an emmy. Bonnie might have a chance but the industry seems to really like Ellen. I don't know how Rachael Ray won last year....her show is just a cooking show. Hopefully Bonnie's show will get picked up for next season. Marie Osmond and Valerie Bertinelli will be having their own talk show as well.....so that means someone will have to go......maybe Babs and her View.
I cannot believe how rude and disrespectful Joy and Barbara were to Bonnie on the VIEW! Bonnie, you and your show are a breath of fresh air! I appreciate your honesty, your HUMOR, your natural presence on air. Keep it up! You are a "class act," unlike the women on The View. You handled them with grace and humor - Brava!
Dear Colleen,
1st of all, I'm not a faithful Bonnie Hunt follower. I'm a faithful Jesus Christ follower, though not a saint.
I thought I heard Bonnie say she was married twice. I could be wrong however. If so--I stand corrected.
Everyone's messages are important. They elevate Bonnie's fan line.
I guess I somehow find it difficult to believe that celebrity hosts sharing the same sofa on a program, would deliberately jepardise each others television standing affectiing viewers in such a negative way, as to pit them for or against each other by one party making crack insults to one of their guests.
Supposedly Barbara Walters pissed off Bonnie whilst on the view. Something appeared less than cordial during the show and people took off on it in their messages.
I thought about it and came to the conclusion that it must have been planned. It appeared that Bonnie took offense to something Barbara said. I thought of it as part of the humor intended and factored it in as the daily business dealings to stimulate the audience with reaction. And it did. People started blasting Barbara negatively.
I don't think Barbara meant it the way Bonnie took it and one thing led to another and the whole darn audience got huffy. I'm a fan of both women. I took it as part of the show for the desired effect. Period.
My point is: Bonnie is a comedienne. Barbara threw her a bone to play with. Instead of working with it--with a joke, she took the pissed off route. I took the pissed off routine as though it were the joke. Others took it as though Bonnie was in fact highly insulted. Show business is in how it's delivered. Barbara showed signs of happy face, delighted with Bonnie's demeanor. I honestly thought they were funning with each other. Period. Show business. Not a back yard brawl. No hair pulling or pinching of the cheeks. No more explanations here.
Guess we see things differently.
HI BONNIE. I LOVE YOUR SHOW BUT AS FAR AS TODAYS SHOW IT WAS A RERUN. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. I WATCH EVERY DAY SO I OF COURSE WANT TO SEE A NEW SHOW EVERY DAY. THAT IS UNREALISTIC, I KNOW. BUT JUST WANTED TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR SHOW. I DO ALSO WANT TO SAY DON IS VERY FUNNY.TOO.
Bonnie I am sorry too. I just thought this was your site not one for Barbara Walters and that is why I was defending you.
Dear Bonnie,
I apologise for all this bullshit on your website.
Dear Linda
First,I believe you are wrong about how many times Bonnie has been married. She has only been married once and if you were a faithful Bonnie Hunt follower you would know that she just said yesterday on the Today Show that she is not looking for a relationship right now. Just wanted to let you know that.
and what do you mean by this?
"Get an education. Write something worth reading!" Do you think you are the only one that has something to say that is worth reading? Not having an education does not mean that you don't have something valuable to say.
Dear Starketcher,
I must say the "Bab's Depends in a wad" nearly knocked me off my chair. That was hilarious.
I don't work for The View. I'm a viewer like you.
Isn't it nice to enjoy so many different flavors of opinion. At least we're never stuck in our own, all the time. Sharing either convinces us or allows us to change our minds.
Maybe Barbara had a little gas. And maybe Bonnie had a little pre-menopausal histeria. Who knows.
It sure has been interesting.
Dear Starketcher,
Surprised to see a response regarding my message.
Your comments are appreciated.
I think The View has improved in content since "The Rosie" left. I liked Rosie on HER show. Rosie is a lead personality and needs her own space. She led too many other people's space. Whoopie is a much better choice. Sheri also.
As for Barabara, her story is of her own making. She leaves no lies, tall tales or imaginings behind her. A bit surprised about her secrets, she did reveal that she's of a people on a planet fully tainted with colorful sins. Humanity in this realm will not leave the planet unscathed, because human behavior is flawed on every scale consisting of a variety of variables, out of control, on differing degrees. But we try.
Even Bonnie has been married twice and now is looking for a 3rd husband. There are no saints on the airways or anywhere amongst us in the immediate vacinity. Even the churches are full of criminals behind some alters professing all godliness.
Let's not override Barbara with the sanctity of Bonnie's "girl next door" appeal. Barbara has never sported her cleavage in like manner, though she may not own such lovely charms. Put it into the proper perspective, though it hurts.
It is neither to knock either, but to hopefully assume that perhaps the segment went in a direction that was pre-planned for particular response to achieve such messages on this board.
May we come to discover the reasonings behind the meaning of what brought about the hoop-la that resulted, bringing us to these exchanges.
Maybe everyone should've had a brew before the show to relax.
Linda's comments sure sound like PR/damage control, huh?? Accepting, but alluding, blame while initiating a few backhanded complements and jabs.....
Speaking of ole Babs lack or class/decorum, it all boils down to Babs' Depends were just in a wad today!
Re Linda's comment's....
I am not in the least worrying about ratings, nor do I care how creating them works. It's not my job.
I care that when I have an hour to relax and have a giggle and enjoy someone who IS doing their job, makes me laugh and entertains for one hour, that works for me.
I so do not agree with you that the interview this morning was fair. Bonnie deserves an apology. She is doing a fantastic job.
I love the flowered coffee mug Bonnie uses. Can you buy it someplace? If so, where? Thank you for your help!
