Is Holly's dating over? I haven't seen anything for a long time. Holly....keep looking. It's been a great segment!

Holly, Holly, Holly are you one of those girls who only like bad boys? I don't know your dating or marital background but it makes me wonder when you apparently liked and would have gone out with again, the guy who 1. used a fake name 2. was kind of forward 3. went on the date even though he knew he was moving and wouldn't be around and 4. didn't call you even though you both supposedly had a good time. And then, didn't want to date the more sensitive guy who you had a lot in common with and were comfortable enough to have a 4 hour date cause you didn't feel a spark! do you think you are only attracted to the bad boy type? lots of girls are like that and it doesn't usually end well. is that your pattern? if it is maybe you should break that pattern and give a nice but maybe more boring guy a second chance. just a thought.

Bonnie I adore you! Your humor your style...having coffee with you makes my day.

I am fortunate enough to be able to work from home a few days a week and enjoy your show being on in the background...the other days you get DVR'ed. Your wit and humor crack me up. I love how you protect your "good girl" image. LOL

Being a single father of three (mother deceased) I'd like to see you give some focus to single dads. Sometimes I find myself relating more to single moms simply because my duties seem to sync more to them. I think you could tap into stories there that are usually left hidden.

Anyway…I am just happy to see Holly having fun with it. Dating is a whole new beast when you are older.

Hi Bonnie and Holly!

I think that after this third batch Holly should go one more round. On the first batch of guys, Holly choose not to go out with the guy choosen by the viewers but rather went out with Franc. I think it's time to give that cutie a chance! He was so handsome and had a very nice profile! What were you thinking Holly not going with the viewers pick on that one and instead ended up with the texting Franc!?! ick!

Linda

Ok Bonnie now you and Holly are even.

Franke felt Holly's leg on the 1st date .

The snake felt more then your leg the 1st time being on your show.. Shame on you (lol)

I would say you are both even..

Bonnie,

I was looking forward to hearing about Holly's second date with Robert but it seemed that she didn't get much talk time as Tawny came out and took over..

I just would have liked to have heard more and I think if Tawny hadn't of come out she would have gotten a chance to talk more.

I mean come on 4 hours on the date..

More Details.. She did mention that she won't be going out with him again as there was no attraction.. I can understand that if there is no spark then what is the point..

You can tell she really liked Franke even though the hand thing was a bit much she liked him and felt a connection..

I am old fashioned too so I did agree with you Bonnie about taking things slow on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd date and that any man should respect us woman and get to know us more before putting his hands on us .. Regardless..

IT'S ALL ABOUT R.E.S.P.E.C.T

Maybe Tony will be a better match for Holly and maybe this time we can hear more about her date..

Karen

I agree that Holly should continue to date #2 (Robert?) if he's still interested.

And I totally love Tawny for "claiming" the word prude. However, I find it crazy that Bonnie's common sense (as I would call it) is considered prudish by some. I think some people have confused the words prude with prudent!! So you have good judgment--that doesn't make you a prude. I too think that Franke was moving too fast. That's my instinctual, gut reaction, i.e. my good sense talking. [His fake name also informed my "yuck" reaction.] Why is it that common sense is now considered a negative, prudish quality in America?

Apparently Holly came away with another feeling and reaction to Franke. That's good. Means we are all looking for different things and won't be fighting over the same guy!!

Finally, Bonnie. Be careful with those animals!! Think of Siskel and Ebert. I mean, Siegfried and Roy.

I was just watching the show and heard Holly say that she wasn't going to go out with a man again because there were no sparks. A former Chicago gal myself, I'd like to suggest that Holly give every guy at least 3 dates before deciding if she's interested or not. Even baseball uses 3 strikes before you're out! Many men and women are nervous on the first date, so one date is never enough (unless he's dangerous!). There really shouldn't be any sparks until you get to know each other. A lasting relationship is built on a foundation of trust and friendship, not lust and fireworks. If you can talk to a person you've just met for 4 hours, that person deserves more time before being excluded. Also, in the future, please don't embarass Holly's dates by giving a reason for not dating again. These men are obviously serious about finding a lady friend and shouldn't have others exclude them because of what has or has not been said about them on the Bonnie Hunt Show.
